It's basically just your average beach, only it's still perfectly clean, no trash to taint the shoreline. The water is clear, waves crashing against the shore in a constant cycle, and the sand is soft and white, not grainy and rough.
There are shells of all shapes and sizes, sharks teeth you can collect, as well as large croppings of rocks to climb on, fish from, or simply lay upon to soak up some sun. There are little tidal pools, mainly scattered among these rocky areas, where you can find various creatures like starfish, crabs, and smaller fish who've gotten stuck. Of course, larger fish are in the actual ocean, and if you're lucky, you could see a school of dolphins pass by.
If you travel a bit down the shore, you'll find a place where the beach seems to come to a slight point. This point seems to become a natural bridge leading to a small island. Upon the island there is a cave, dank and gloomy and just overall spooky looking. You can climb onto the top, if you can find a way up or manage to scale the rocky sloped outside, and simply dive off, or you can venture inside to explore. Though, it's said to be haunted... and when it's high tide, it tends to fill with water, so don't get caught too deep inside!

[technically, Vamp's first to post >.>]
Kisa wandered towards the beach, bare feel sinking lightly into the white sand with each step she took. Her sword had been left at home for once. She doubted, or rather hoped, she wouldn't have a use for it out here. She looked around quietly, at the grass covered dunes she'd passed through on her way here, and then to the ocean spread before her. She smiled, and slowly started towards it.
She had a small bag over her shoulder, containing a towel. She'd put her clothing in it as soon as she took it off. She was just wearing a black tank top, and some jeans, with her swimsuit under it. It was the very suit Ayame had bought her however long ago, and she was curious if the girl would recognize it. Also, it was her only swimsuit, so she hadn't had much of a choice...
She blinked, proceeding towards the water. Kurri was in her arms, watching the water with a frown.

{ Umm... first the worst, second the best. Dx }
Ayame peered over a dune, blinking as she stood in her black tankini. She hopped about, waiting for Kisa to show up, just like they had planned. Of course, Ayame had been hanging around for a while anyhow, and she was always early. She watched Kisa eventually make her way towards the beach, and she jumped with delight, going unnoticed behind the dune. "Yay! She's here, Ki-kuuun!" She chimed happily.
Daisuke, however, sat behind Ayame and the dune, not happy about the thought of swimming. He was NOT a swimmer. He pouted in his dark green swim trunks, his sapphire eyes darting from side to side. Yes, he didn't like water, but there were so many noises and things he was unfamiliar with. "She's here?" He asked grumpily, knowing Ayame would drag him into the water.
"Yup!" and with that, Ayame dragged him out from behind the dune, shouying to Kisa, "Kisa-chaaaan! Over here!" She waved, holding Daisuke's hand to pull him along.

Kisa's ears perked, and she blinked, looking around. It didn't take long for her to spot Ayame and Daisuke. She smiled and started towards them, currently green eyes shining. She hadn't been to a beach in so long! At least, not just to enjoy herself.
She adjusted Kurri in her grasp, for the kitten had started squirming. He wasn't at all fond of water either, and wasn't sure why he'd allowed himself to be dragged here. Sand always got in his fur, and it was horrible to try licking off... He wrinkled his nose, letting out a small meow of pretest.
Kisa just trailed her hand down his back, then looked up at the two she had met. "Hello," she said cheerfully.

"Haha! I'm so glad you came, Kisa-chan! And you're wearing it!" Ayame chimed, pointing at Kisa's swimsuit. ""The swimsuit I bought you a couple years ago! I'm so happy you're wearing it!" She clapped happily, then looking at the protesting Kurri. She gave him a soft scratch between the ears. "Hello, Kurri!" She chirped, giving him a small grin.
Daisuke put his hands behind his head, watching Kurri's dissaproval of the water and sand. He didn't have a problem with the sand. It was the water. "Hey, Kisa. Kurri." He nodded at each. He wondered if Kurri would respond, seeing that Daisuke was the only one around with the ability to talk to him.

Kisa nodded, glancing down at herself. "Yeah... It's still the only one I have," she admitted. "And it still fits!" Well, for the most part... It was the tiniest bit snug, mainly around the chest. Kisa didn't seem to realize this though. Her tail was wagging slowly behind her as she glanced out over the water, then looked back at Daisuke. "Hello," she said again, just as cheerfully as the first time. Ah, she wanted to hurry and swim!
Kurri rolled his eyes, then looked to the ground. "I really hate the beach," he complained. To everyone but Daisuke, it'd sound like a simple meow. "I want to go home..."

"Ah, still? Well, I'm glad you're using it, then!" Ayame said happily, letting go of Daisuke's hand, and grabbing Kisa's. Her eyes beamed in an adorable way, much like the little girl that she was a couple years ago did. "Let's go swimming, Kisa-chan! I love the beach!" She jumped up and down excitedly, looking at the water, then at Kisa. Even though the beach was empty, they were the first ones at the beach anyways. So exciting! The water wasn't dirty from human toxins, the shores were clean and litter free. The sand! it was so white!
"You're telling me..." Daisuke responded to Kurri, watching Ayame jump up and down in excitement. "Between you and me, I'm only here because I want to make Ayame happy. I can't tell her that I didn't want to come because I hate the beach. It'd crush her." and with this, Daisuke sighed, his grey ears twitching, his tail moving side to side slowly. "She'll drag me into the water too...!" He whined, tilting his head to the side.

Kisa smiled, nodding her head. "Alright," she agreed, with almost no hesitation at all, and then set her bag down on the sand. Kurri jumped from her arms, and she just laughed quietly. "I won't make you swim," she promised, and then faced Ayame again. "Are you ready?" she smiled, and took a step or two towards the ocean.
Kurri tilted his head back, looking almost smugly up at Daisuke. "I came to keep Kisa company, but I don't have to swim," he boasted, and then shifted over, plopping down right on Daisuke's feet. "Do you think they'd make me move if I refused?" He shook one of his paws, trying to get the sand off without having to lick it. In his own way, he was trying to help Daisuke avoid the water. Sitting on the boy's feet was the first thing that came to mind.

"Yay!" Ayame cried, running ahead of Kisa giggling. She tripped, however, landing face first in the sand. She pushed herself out, spitting out a mouthful of sand that was in her mouth, rubbing her toungue off with her hand. "Bleeehh..." Ayame said. Sand did NOT taste good. On the bright side, Ayame was not injured, and she pushed herself back up quickly. She looked at Kisa, and said, "I-I'm okay! Really!" with that, she ran into the water, and immediatly halted waste-deep. "It's f-freezing!" She cried, grabbing her arms. She shivered where she stood, ansd then she suddenly plunged down into the water. She surfaced, her silver hair now sleek and wet.
"Lucky Cat." He said to Kurri. He didn't have to swim, yet Daisuke knew that he would. Of course, he'd jump in to save Ayame or Kis if one of them were drowing, but the chances of that seemed very slim. "Yes, I think they wuld make you move." Replied Daisuke, moving into a sitting position without moving Kurri.

Kisa froze when Ayame tripped, then quickly hurried towards her. But the girl was already pushinig herself up, and Kira couldn't help laughing quietly. "Well, that's good," she grinned, fangs baring. She followed her towards the water, standing for a moment where the waves simply lapped around her feet. "It is cold," she agreed with a frown, then suddenly lurched forward, doing a shallow dive out into the water, not even deep enough to scrape along the bottom. She popped up again a little ways out, clutching at her arms with her black hair plastered around her face. "R-really cold," she stammered.
Kurri shrugged slightly, then looked ahead at the two in the apparently freezing water. He didn't see why anyone would want to go swimming any time of the year, much less February. It was cold, wasn't it? What were they doing? He twisted his head around, looking over his shoulder towards Daisuke. "Do you even know how to swim? I don't."

"Hai, Hai... I know how to swim, but I prefer not to. I'd really like to stay dry." Daisuke said to Kurri. "I don't quite understand why they would go swimming in late February, however. It's rather silly, even it it is warm here." Daisuke added. He examined the two girls freezing in the water and couldn't help but laugh. They looked a little odd just standing there in the freezing water with their arms crossed.
Ayame laughed, almost sounding like a nervous laugh. She wasn't even nervous, however. She then crouchd down so only her head was popping out of the water. She decided to get her body used to the cold water, since her face didn't usually go in anyways. Her nose was a rosy pink color, as well as her cheeks. That's the effect of anything cold on Ayame's face. Her grey eyes were glazed over with water, looking as if she might cry. Her eyes were wide open, however, because she was cold. "W-we're so silly!" Ayame suddenly chirped.

Kurri nodded his head, looking forward again. "Yeah..." His ears perked, then flattened back as he watched the girls, a faint kitty smile tugging at his lips. He remained sitting upon Daisuke's feet though, using it as a way to keep himself out of the sand.
Kira was actually clenching her teeth so they wouldn't chatter, and slowly made her way back towards Ayame, feet sinking lightly into the sand with each step. She finally stopped a couple feet away from her, and also crouched down. "D-do you warm up faster if you m-move around some?" she asked uncertainly. She really couldn't have fun when she was freezing to death. Her green eyes were flecked with bits of pink, signaling her embarrassment.

"I-I, uh, th-think so!" Ayame said uncertainly, jumping in the water. It almost felt the water was getting warmer, though she knew that it was just her body going numb. "W-warmer already!" She chimed, though still shivering. What a bunch of silly people they were! "So... um... let's jump! I guess..!" And Ayame continued to jump, giggling nervously.
Daisuke examined the beach further, and he picked up Kurri, as well as his and Ayame's beach bags. He then stopped at a large, smoothe, flat rock, and he laid down a blanket. He then put Kurri down, and then flopped onto the rock, the sun hitting his bare skin. It was warm, and it was comfortable. He purred contently, which was not something he normally did. "No sand or water. Just warm sun..." Daisuke sighed happily.

Kurri blinked as he was picked up, head twisting around to stare at Daisuke until he felt the rock under his paws. He walked in a circle, and then laid himself down, just flopping onto his side. His black fur soaked up the sun's rays and soon he found himself purring as well. He would've curled into Daisuke's side, or settled down on his stomach, but he did that to Kira, and wasn't sure if Daisuke would like it.
Kisa just laughed, watching her jump around. She crouched so just her head was out of the water, and tentatively pulled her arms from around herself. Only, she ended up hugging herself right back again, rubbing at her numbing skin. Her gaze shifted over towards Daisuke, and she laughed again, mostly at herself. "Th-they have the right idea," she said quietly, watching them.
