www.david-tennant.com has an exclusive interview with DT. You can check it out here: http://team-tennant.com/dtint/id171.html

Not much in the way of new spoilers that haven't been reported elsewhere, but some interesting personal info. Oh, and he kills the "Britney Spears will show up as an alien" rumor.

Woohoo!

Thank goodness he quashed that rumour. I couldn't stand it!

How about this little gem:

Q: If you could be anyone else for a day who would you be?
It's hard not to give a filthy answer to that question! I would be a woman just so what I could see it was like on the other side. Things in general, you know.

Makes me wonder about all those pictures of DT in drag... mrgreen

I don't know why, but that picture of Tennant for Recovery reminds me of Steve Carrell in Little Miss Sunshine. Must be the beard.

Speaking of him doing interviews, he was on the Jonathan Ross show on BBC Radio 2 last Saturday. So, if you want to hear Jonathan Ross, who specializes in "music, waffle, and the occasional insult" interviewing Tennant if the interview on his website wasn't enough info, or if you just want to melt into a puddle of fangirlish glee at Tennant's Scottish accent, click the link below, then click the Radio 2 banner, then the picture of Tennant looking soulfully at you (or is that just hungrily?) or if that's gone, find the box that says Radio 2 Presenters and Shows, and click Jonathan Ross. (I think they'll mostly be talking about that "Recovery" show. I haven't heard the interview yet.)
http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/

PS: He seems to take ages to get on, because he's late getting to the studio. Some bother with his car, poor guy. It's some BBC Transport thing, and his car was cancelled. (Jonathan Ross blames the Cybermen.) I'll post what time he gets on after I find out, in case you don't want to listen to the whole show. Don't blame you.

PPS: The time thing reads about 20:03:35 when he finally arrives (stupid TARDIS! xd ), so skip forward to about that part if you don't want to listen to the whole show.

And also he makes those incredible "ayaaauhahhh..." thinking noises the Doctor makes. (I'm very impressed with how I transcribed that...) You know, those weird noises he makes when he's trying to decide if he really wants to agree with something. Which amuses me. I always imagine an actor has to do a whole new set of mannerisms as a character, but Ten is a lot like Tennant, except many many times more talkative. Also, Jonathan Ross is good at awkward compliments.

Anyway, it's good. It's way good. Please listen to it. I just hope you like eclectic music, because they take breaks in the interview to play music. But that's okay, because Tennant actually seems a bit bashful and I don't think they could get him to talk for twenty minutes or half an hour straight. But they kind of keep him around for the whole rest of the show, and calling up all sorts of other people, and he ends up talking about kilts. 3nodding And not wearing anything under it.

Yesss, there was, some sex crazed alien, but RTD must have come to his senses, he would have been skinned alive by huge stampeding mobs of whovians if he'd done that.

Ahaha, yeah, but really, I'm pretty sure a lot of people would think the same really, just generally curious of what its like to be the opposite sex.
I would SO wear a kilt.

gonk I'm sorry, I've never understood the time thing they have on the BBC radio player thing. I never use fast-forward, so I don't pay any attention to the time at all.

As regards to the episode filmed in a quarry... for some insanely bizarre reason even I'm getting nostalgic, and the only classic Doctor Who I've ever seen is "The Dalek Invasion of Earth," which was sadly lacking in campy alien planets.

mrgreen I saw this good Fourth(?) one, which started out with a ton of smoke, and then this quarry-looking thing and this shelter thing....so..yeah.
