I haven't been playing for that long but in Ironforge theres a guy who will give you a baby murloc pet if you give him a special code. So i was wondering; where do i get this code from or can someone here give me the code

You had to get the original WoW collectors edition
Or get the european burning crusade collectors edition ( cool )

I remember from back when I played that you could only get a Baby Murloc by attending to 2k6 BlizzCon. well maybe the original baby murlocs were from blizzcon I thought you could pick out of a panda, mini diablo or a baby murloc with the original ce but you're probably right with the EU burning crusade collectors edition though we had to send in stuff to receive our netherwhelps lol... to make up for it we got a baby murloc as well http://www.wow-europe.com/en/burningcrusade/activatepet.htm

For US players (and Euro as well, I believe) - the original CE gives you the choice of a baby panda, Mini Diablo, or a Zergling.
US (and Euro as well, I believe) TBC CE - Netherwhelp. However, Euro players had a glitch in getting their Netherwhelps, so Blizz made up for it by giving them Lurky the Murloc as well (basically like the baby murloc, but different coloring).
Blizzcon gave out goody bags to everyone who attended, which included a card with a code to get a baby murloc pet in-game.

Pretty much, unless you buy a card off eBay. I haven't checked in a while, but 2-3 months after BlizzCon, the goody bags were going for about $100-150 & up.

actually in december 2 years ago all the new GM's for the european office teams were given a murloc pet code for free (my ex was one of them)
they do a funky tap dance xd

They are indeed impossible to get now. Even if you somehow managed to find one, say off of Ebay or something, you would've wasted your money. The cards expired at the one year anniversary of BlizzCon, Oct. 31st of '06.
It really sucks though that Murky wasn't an account-wide addition. Quite lame. sad My Draenei will never be able to have him, now. I do have three, however. (Well, only two since I gave one to my girlfriend.)

i was never a fan of murlocs there annoying just like the imps lol the imp cause me to get my lock to level 10 faster than ive ever gotten to 10 before i hate the imp with a passion although i do like the murlocs for fish oil and scales i need them for my shaman spells

Save the Murlocs! We must rescue them from the oppression! The Murlocs are a peaceful race! They are so great! We need to fight Blizzard to Save them!
