Okay so, since people seem down with this s**t, let's do it up. Create and post your characters; what deity/ies they were spawned from, their physical attributes, their personalities, and if they're a freshman, sophmore, junior, or senior. The we can go from there. >D

I'll be going with Joseph Athens, son of Athena. More details to come.
I do highly reccomend that people take a look at the Tokyopop book Pantheon High for a good idea of how this concept can be done both with style and without overpowering.
If Joseph doesn't pan out, I have a few other partial ideas with Inari, Thoth, Kojin, Huitzilopochtli, Nezha (I'm kinda fond of this one, actually), Quetzalcoatl, and my personal favorite among the Aztec gods... Huehuecoyotl.
My best ideas are currently for Athena, Nezha, and Huehuecoyotl.
Actually, now that I think of it, I might go for one of the non-european ones to free up some room among the more familiar dieties.

Well, I'm currently working on my character, Belle Venus. Guess who HER mom is...
Or possibly a daughter of Inari. I heart foxes...

Whee. Just started giving it some serious thought, so I suppose it could change...but if we get this under way, my first idea would be to play a daughter of Fe'e (Samoan octopus god of war and thunderstorms).
Starting as a Freshman, she would be happy and bubbly, though a little excitable and inclined to startle easily. Possessed of an uncrushably positive self image, despite being, more or less, a slightly humanoid octopus. Slimy, tentacled, and in need of frequent watering. In terms of powers inherited, she would be passable - though by no means exceptional - in a fight, and have some control over lightning or electricity, with a significant boost around bodies of water. She would still be developing her powers, so probably not capable of much more than a rather irritating shock when away from water.
I'll come up with a name later, if we get closer to actually doing something with it. surprised Alternatively, I might come up with a daughter of Baron Samedi, if the octopus-gal doesn't quite fit.

I've got a few half-formed ideas at the moment, but nothing solid yet. The gods who I am contemplating right now are Nephthys, Balder, Heimdall, Susano'o, and Mercury.
EDIT: Better idea'd! Euterpe, the muse of music!

Well, here goes...I may tweak this a little, but this is the basic profile.
Name: Belle Venus
Age: 15 (sophomore)
Parent Deity: Aphrodite
Father: Louis Beauvais
Father’s occupation: Artist
Physical description: With ebon black hair that flows in gentle waves down her back, and strikingly vivid blue eyes, she fits most men’s idea of “beauty”. She’s about 5’7, and in very good shape.
Powers and abilities: Like her mother, she has influence over the spheres of love, romance, lust, desire. Although not as powerful as her mother, she still represents a dangerous force amongst mortals, as well as her own classmates.
Flaws: She doesn’t have complete control over her powers. Occasionally one of her mother’s former lovers will come along, hoping to get a little bit of revenge against her mother.
Personality Quirks: She’s generally an easy going girl, but has a bad habit of playing matchmaker. Her success rate is about 50%. She’s trying to improve that. She gets distracted by anything beautiful easily, causing her grades to suffer, with the exception being her Art, English, and Mythtory classes. She is also an excellent actress and loves being the center of attention, so she is in the drama club.
Character background: Belle is the youngest of Aphrodite’s children (so far, at any rate). A stunningly attractive girl, Belle is immensely popular with the boys at her school, but not so popular with the girls, who view her divine attractiveness as “cheating”.
She grew up in France with her father, where she learned about painting and sculpting. Her father was aware of her divine heritage, but did not tell his daughter at Aphrodite’s request. It was only recently that Belle learned of her mother being a goddess, after she had inadvertently caused a duel between two boys competing for her affections. Neither boy was killed, but they were both seriously injured. It was then that Aphrodite came to visit her daughter for the first time, telling her the truth about her heritage.
At first Belle was shocked, but she had always known that there was something different about her. Now she knew the truth. At first she was afraid, but her mother had other plans. She was sending her to Divine High, a school where the children of other deities also went, to learn about their heritage and how to control their powers.

You might be able to read a few pages on Tokyopop's website. Failing that, Waldenbooks and Barnes & Cherynobl seem to be stocking it hardcore.

I guess I could give this one a shot. I'm thinking from Mercury since the whole "god of profit, commerce" and stuff.
I'll try to develop something.

You don't actually need to read the book to participate. Just take a god you like (or think is cool), and imagine they sex it up with a human, and have a baby. Take what you know about the god's powers and abilities, and imagine how they'd play out in a half human, half divine teenager. And whee...I made up a profile for a daughter of Inari. It's very funny...she has random rice balls pop out of odd places (like her text books!) rofl

This is actually becoming harder and harder for me to pick. I think I'll go male for once, I'm such a bloody drag queen. I'm leaning towards the son of Hermes right now. Or perhaps Desire of the Endless if that's allowed. *Makes puppy dog eyes*
