((As a note, this is before she's met Eros. :3 Since that RP hasn't wrapped and I'm not sure where it's going and stuff.))

Ravii took a drink from the cool water, ears pricked forward as she listened the roar of the waterfall. It was amazing the power of nature - to create something as gentle as a trickle of water from the mountains and transform it into something as spectacular as the falls.

A mist of water danced around the she wolf, its fine droplets landing upon the tip of her fur. Despite the chill in the air, the waterfall never froze, regardless of the amount of snow and ice that winter could bring. The cream and violet she wolf adored water in all its states, though the waterfall was perhaps her most favorte places of all.

The rest of the lake, despite the waves, was a clean pool. There were no fish to be found, sadly, not witin such turbulant water. They were found further downstream, and made a delectible treat. Perhaps she'd go hunting later, to take the edge and bite off her hunger.

Shaking out her furt, the female laughed at the impossible. Being so close to the waterfall, it took but a moment to find a fresh layer of water droplets blanketing her. Oh well, a bit of water never hurt anyone.

Distracted from the beautiful scene, the female looked down to stare at her reflection in the water. The waves that rippeled caused her to look skewed and overall ridiculous - her form shimmered and twisted in a variety of convoluted states.

A little smile creeped upon her features as she stared. She remembered watching her reflection as a puppy . . .my how the times did change.

Trotting around in the woods, Bindi felt the need to explore to get her mind clear of the last events which had taken place. Her life had turned so drastically, gaining a new family and all...it was wonderful yet confusing at the same time. Sighing lightly as she gazed on ahead, curling around a tree before continuing on....she figured it would be best to clear her head with a nice drink.

Then....there was Dax.

That pup was beginning to turn her world upside down, he was her brother, her savior....yet why did she feel so weird everytime she said the word brother? She really liked him, why would it feel so weird, did she not even like her own brother!?

"Arrrrg!" Bindi shook her head, what was just silly nonsence!

Lifting her head, she blinked when she noticed a wolfess by the falls as the blonde pup's tail began to wag. A friend! Perfect to get her mind off of Dax for a while...untill she had to go back to the den that is. Frolicing up to the femme, Bindi peered into the water next to her to see both of their reflections before giggling - peering up at the actual female.

"Hi! I hope i'm not disturbing you....My name is Bindi! x3"

As intent as Ravii was staring at the water, her ears were ever alert. She heard the soft padding of a smaller creature, a smaller animal, but it was no concern to her. One of her ears turned towards the sound, but otherwise the cream and violet female stayed still.

Sure enough, a golden and cream striped face suddenly appeared beside her own and Ravii couldn't help but smile.

One last look, before she turned to face the little Bindi. They were practically nose to nose, but Ravii minded not. Blue eyes bright, the female gave an amicable laugh. "You're quite fine, Bindi," Ravii reassured, eyes bright. "I'm Ravii, and it's a pleasure to meet you."

Her ears flicked around, searching for sounds of others or a family. Was this one alone? Or perhaps she had a family waiting for her? If not here, then maybe elsewhere.

There were soooo many lone pups she'd come across lately, Ravii was starting to disbelieve that pack familys even existed. She surely never had been in one, and the couple she'd seen had been small, weak, and were quick to disband.

"What's a pretty thing like you doing out here by your lonesome?" A tilt of her head and a gentle, almost maternal smile. Bindi was quite striking with her pale fur and golden brown stripes. Much more interesting in appearance than her grape stains.

Giggling softly as the pair nearly touched noses when the older femme turned her attention to Bindi, the small runt dropped to her haunches demi-gracefully. Smiling brightly as she was glad she was not interrupting, she spoke out on her airy little vocals, "Oh, good then!"

Taking a moment to glance over this adult, she very much enjoyed her licks of purple fur covering her paws and head - it reminded her of grapes, or the rare beautiful purple hue's at dusk. Bindi was rather overjoyed to meet up with another colourful female, as a world without colour to Bindi would be horrid; simply horrid.

However....the ebony and ivory pelt of Dax was completely different....only on him did she enjoy the monocromatic hues.

"Ravii, I like it! Its so nice to meet you too, especially one who has such purple in her pelt! You look yummy. x3" Bindi squeaked gleefully, but blinked in realization "N-not that I would eat you! You just look like the yummy grapes...I like fruits..Oiy." She chuckled sheepishly, there she went again babbling on.

Alone. It seemed a word which she hated, and needed at the same time. Allowing her cerulean lanterns to drift over to the waterfall, a warm but distant smile crossed the young one's face. "Can I tell you a secret?" She took a small glance to Ravii, before continuing with a soft sigh. "I came out here to think, my life is pretty jumbled right now...unlike some pups. My momma never came back for me, I don't know why. Yet another pup saved my life, and he and his family adopted me...I'm greatful, I really am...but I can't stop thinking about if my momma's looking for me. Not to mention I kinda don't want Dax as a brother...but he is, I don't know why I feel like this...I like him, he's so nice!" She turned to Ravii, looking concerned and confused. "I dunno, he just doesn't feel like a brother to me, and it feels weird saying so."

Lowering her ears lightly, her small orbs looked up at the older femme, another sheepish smile crossing her maw. "M'sorry. I didn't mean to complain.."

((OMG - she's soooo adorable! *cuddles le Bindi* n.n SO CUTE!))

Ravii couldn't help but smile down at the cream and caramel furred puppy. How utterly delightful~! Though they only just met, Ravii was absolutely thrilled to see the sunshine radiate throughout Bindi. Through her first words, the blabbering petite female was everything a young one should be - gentle, kind, curious, talkative!

Compared to the oh-so-serious Alexander, and the frightful and timid Nen, Bindi was like a refreshing beverage for the dehydrated soul. It did Ravii's heart good to listen to the little pup.

"Oh, you didn't mean it then?" Ravii played along with a good natured laugh, ears perking forward and her tail tip wagging in relief. "Phew. I thought for a moment I was in trouble!" The sparkle in her eye belied her words, but it was fun to jest. Such a sweet thing! "Though on the subject of fur, may I just point out that you're a very striking young lady. I'm jealous of the stripes, I must admit."

And she was. Ravii had always wanted clean stripes on her coat, not the fuzzy blob of violet she had. But the grass was always greener on the other side of the den, or so the saying went. She could at least appreciate the golden, little ladies admiration.

"Can I tell you a secret?"

Ravii's ears pricked forward. But of course the young one could! Blue eyes resting solely upon the pup, Ravii made herself comfortable as she listened. Shifting her position, she stretched out her front paws and shifted to her side. Lying in front of the girl, she now could look ahead of her and be face-to-face with the pup, instead of staring down.

The wolfess felt a twang of hurt for Bindi as she spoke of losing her mother. Such a familiar story in many a pups life, including Ravii's. She couldn't remember exactly where her family had gone, though she knew she had one. . . .somewhere. All Ravii could remember was . . . well, it wasn't important. No use thinking on such negitivity while poor Bindi was in need.

"Well, Ms. Bindi, I must admit I'm relieved that you've found what sounds to be a good new family. But don't feel guilty about thinking of your lost mother, I'm sure there's a very good reason why she didn't come back." No, Ravii wasn't going to mention any such reasons, as they all were laced in sadness. Did she get killed somewhere or worse, had she abandoned her pup? On might never know the situation, and for Bindi's sake, Ravii could only hope that her new life would wash away and hurts and fears that had already stained her spirit.

"But if your momma loved you, she'd want you to be happy and safe. Perhaps you should stay with this family until, maybe, your mother finds you? You may have much better luck this way in finding her by staying in one spot, wouldn't you agree? If she's out there looking, but you keep moving one way and she another, then it may be a lot more difficult for her to locate your whereabouts.

"You don't have to forget your Momma, but you can certainly make room in your heart for another." Ravii gave the pup a gentle smile. "I think that could be allowed, wouldn't you? You can't have too many mothers or too large a family."

Ravii was most thoroughly entertained by the chit chatting Bindi. Though she was sad that she had lost her birthmother, the shewolf was overjoyed that she'd found a family. It would do Bindi good to stumble across such kindness and affection - her safety and life were now almost 100% guarentted.

"As for this Dax you speak of, you don't necessarily have to think of him as a brother. You can always just keep him as a friend, couldn't you? Sure, you may have a new family, but family is a lot of things - brothers, sisters, cousins and friends. Besides, does he really need a label? You two care about each other, so does it matter as a brother or a friend?"

Bindi was far too young to understand the complications and shadey areas of love and affection. So long as she and Dax enjoyed each others company, who cared what she thought him as?

"And no, Bindi, you needn't apologize," Ravii hastily reassured the little one. "I'm glad you trusted me with your secret - sometimes having a wolf to talk to that's not family is a good thing too. You needn't worry about complaining - you have as much right as any wolf!"

Lightly thudding her tail against the soft terra, Bindi tilted her head to the side as she patiently listened to what the femme had to say, taking everything to heart and letting the wisdom sink into her soul. Ravii was right...she was blessed to have such a run of luck in her short life; she knew others who were not as lucky as she.

"Of course not! I would never eat you, promise!" she gasped, not realising the joke untill after as she felt her cheeks heat up as she smiled. "T-thank you. I really like my pelt, because I got it from my momma. Her pelt was much prettier than mine, but I also looked like daddy, so I don't mind." Closing her eyes for a moment as she soft misted breeze roused her pelt, the pup shook for a second to get the cold droplets off.

Bindi secretly felt glad that Ravii had chosen to shift her position to a laying one, even if it was to get comfortable; it made her feel more equal. "I think...she maybe got lost or something. Last I heard mommy had left back to her pack, but thats the last I saw of her because she told me I can't go see the pack....so I don't even know where it is. Nor do i wanna break my promise!" She gasped, what a horrible pup she would be for breaking such a promise to her own mother. Blinking her bright blue eyes across to the female, they lit up as she realized how right she was! If she did move around...they culd quite possibly miss one another in their travels; and that would take even longer!

"Y-you're right! What if I already missed her! That would be terrible!" The pup bit her lip....yet her momma was really good at sniffing her out when she used to go on adventures when she was around. Surely she would have found her...right? "I will do that! And yeah...she used to say even though I was tiny because I was a runt...I had the biggest heart out of all my siblings!" The pup wagged her tail gleefully, before standing and trotting over to nuzzle Ravii's cheek. "You can be in there too, okay?!" Bindi declared rather proudly.

As the subject of Dax came up, she could feel the mere mention of his name pull at her heart. Listening carefully...she began to see there was little difference between friend and brother, they were practically the same thing! Nodding her head in agreement, this wolfess was just amazingly smart! One day, Bindi hoped she too would have such wisdom too. "You're very kind...and easy to talk to. I really like having you to talk to, Ravii." The pup smiled, glancing around herself before looking back to Ravii curiously.

"Say....why were you out here all by yourself?"

Ravii listened to Bindi, amused grin plastered upon her features. The sunshine pup reminded her of herself when she was nothing but a youngling, full of spunk and amicable personality. Though age and expeirience had transformed her earlier years with a more subtle type of hyperactivity, Ravii looked at Bindi and saw herself.

Perhaps it's why she was so pleased the small one had found safety within a secure pack and home. That had been one thing Ravii had never accomplished or managed. Given, from what she recalled the woods seemed much more scarce and bereft of life - but maybe she was smaller, and her thoughts only imagined the world to be so empty. Whatever the case, for all the lone pups she'd bumped in to, the cream wolfess was happy for Bindi - very happy indeed.

"Oh, don't you worry so," Ravii responded gently as the puppy nuzzled her cheek. Ravii's blue eyes danced and she returned the nuzzle with a friendly one of her own. Puppies were so adorable it was hard not to love 'em! "Just remember that no matter what, your momma loves you even if she's not with you. AND you have a new family who love and care about you too. A trick I learned was to, whenever you grow sad, think about all the wolves who do care and love you, and all the ones you care about as well. Remember that those feelings don't easily break no matter how much time has pssed, or how far away you may be."

Yes, Ravii understood that some wolves didn't have the sort of luck that Bindi did. Some wolves, puppies even, that rule wouldn't work well for but with how much love and joy Bindi radiated, there was no reason it shouldn't. Happy thoughts, though not a permanent fix, were good at soothing the soul.

Blue eyes rested on the girl as she inquiered about herself. Shaking her head, the female gave a little grin before resting her head upon her paws. "Well, in a way, I guess you could say this is my temporary residence. This is where I call home most of the time, near the river and falls. And I'm all by myself because it isn't often a loner gets much company." Her words weren't sad or bitter or hostile - merely factual. Her smile was still present, and her gaze whispered of no regret. "Thankfully," she added with genuine sentiment, "You stopped by - it is so very nice to make new friends, wouldn't you agree? And I think," she added with a low whisper, as if it were just between them, "We shall become good friends, indeed."

There was no reason why they couldn't, or shouldn't! Bindi seemed to like her all right, and Ravii found the golden one full of good spirit. Perhaps they could do each other some good, someday. Ravii was a wolf she could confide in, and Bindi was a refreshing spot of company.

"Loner...?" Bindi cocked her head slightly, thinking deeply as she realized she had been the same as Ravii untill she met Dax. Even though her mother frequently visited, she was alone the majority of the time. Oh how lonely Ravii must have been, if she was living the same way Bindi had...it was then the small pup made a promise to herself. "Ravii, I don't want you to be a loner! I didn't like it, so I don't think you do too. I'll come visit you often okay?....so you wont have to call yourself a loner anymore."

Okay, maybe it didn't work that way....but it was the only thing Bindi knew how to do to make one not a loner.

Her wise words sunk in as she would be using that trick often. To think of all the kind wolves she'd met even before Dax came along brought a warm smile onto her blonde maw. Somehow...she had a feeling that no matter what was to happen in her lifetime, that everything would be alright. She would definately enjoy to stay in touch with each one of them, and Ravii would definately be no exception. At least she knew where she resided now, as her ice orbs glanced over the beautiful surroundings to burn the image into her mind. Looking to the sun hanging overhead, the pup realized that she was probably worrying her family...normally they didn't like when she wandered off alone for long periods of time with the threat of humans lingering about.

Letting a soft sigh escape through her jaws, her gaze drifted back to Ravii with a slightly saddened smile. "I think I should probably go. Dax and everyone are probably waiting for me. I'll be back soon, so don't go wandering far away so I can't find you." She pouted slightly, yet as she nuzzled her head into Ravii's neck she took a deep breath, immortalizing the wolfess' scent into her memory. Thus, she had a better chance at finding her even if it was needed to leave this place for another to live.

"Thank you, Ravii. I feel a lot better now. See you soon!" The pup beamed and wagged her tail before trotting back to the cave where her family awaited.

"Fare thee well, little one," Ravii called out to Bindi as she ran. "I look forward to seeing you again," she whispered, blue eyes watching as the brown and blonde wolf disappeared from sight.

What a most interesting night indeed. Ravii couldn't help but grin as she thought of their few moments together. Bindi was full of life and springtime, the epitome of playful curiousity. It was how a puppies life should be, not overwhelmed with sadness and regret. She was a joy to have around, and Ravii couldn't help but hope that she stayed as optimistic and lovely throughout the rest of her days.

A darling little one, and a pup that wouldn't be easily forgotten in Ravii's heart and mind.
