As I sit in my window seat looking out the frosted window pane I watch my breath fog up on the window, and I look at my reflection in the window. I look past that and I see some one, but it is merley a vauge blurry figure from my point of view. I squint my eyes and use the sleeve of my Black Sabbath hoodie to whipe it clean. A smile spreads across my face as I jump up from the seat and straighten up. I run out of my room, sliding on the tiled floor with my striped black&white socks, as I get to the front door a surprised Jenny, my best friend ever startled, but laughed.
"Oh wow! Hey Violet, I guess you saw me, So can I come in?" Jenny said stepping in and smiling as she put her bag down and streched as she took off her overcoat.
"So are you ready for tonite?!" I asked eagerly taking her coat and back and running to my room opening my door and turning to shove it all in a corner and plopped myself back down on the window seat.
Jenny slipped into my desk rolly chair and spinned a little then stopped abruptly and grinned a wide grin."So..."
I looked awkwardly at her and laughed nervously. "So...What?" Truth is I already know what she was thinking but I just didn't want to say anything. And she knew that I knew.
"Well, Is Conan coming?" Jenny's dark brown eyes gleamed in the light that flooded in through the crystalized window, She looked very beautiful in this light, in fact she always looked kind of classy. Well from my perspective. Although this is irrelavent at this moment I just stop from time to time and notice this.
You see, Conan is this guy I met two years ago for our summer at the beach, us four, Jenny, Her boyfriend of 1 year and a half it is now, and I were on a trip to relax frmo our hectic life style, then we all met up one day at the beach, and that is how I saw Conan. He caught my eye and I was too shy to go over and say hello to him, but then he approached me and we hit it off right away.
"Well, Yeah of course Conan is coming!" I let out a little shriek just like a fan girl meeting her favorite pop star for the first time.
Jenny giggled ad blushed a bit. "I knew from the moment you two started talking you were going to start 'hitting it off', yep I was right!" She smiled a great big smile.
I blushed and got up and streched, looking down at Jenny I zoned out briefly having a flashback of that summer.
"Jenny, what do you think is going to happen between me and Conan? I mean he seems sweet and all but I don't really think that he sees me as anything else but a friend." I said a little of hurt in my eyes. I shook it all off, not expecting an answer form Jenny. "It was a hypothetical question, never mind that...So what do you want to do huh Jen?" I asked turning to see Jenny her eyes seemed empty, she had been thinking about something, making a plan of some sort.
"Well while you create another devious plan I am going to get some snacks or something."I called to her as I shuffled my way out of my room and down the hallway making my way to the small kitchen.
You see, I live in a studio apatment. I moved out of my parents home a year and a half ago. It's been cool I guess, but I'm indifferent about the situation.
I opened the fridge and took out the milk carton and the bottle of chocolate syrup, and marshmallow's.
With my goodies at hand I made my way back to my room finding that Jenny had returned to normal. "So here's the goods." I set down two tall crystal clear glasses and poured the milk, as white as a new snow, and picking up the bottle of chocolate syrup and squeezing it above both glasses, watching the milk turn light brown. I opened the bag of marshmallows and layed back on my bed smiling at Jenny as I picked up my glass and took a sip from my milk. "So what were you thinking about?" I questioned her once I swalloed the milk and took a fluffy marshmallow from the plastic bag.
"Well, Do you want to surprise Conan, go to his house?" She had a little grin on her face.
'Well, I don't know, he is probably busy..." I began to say, but Jenny cut me off with a comeback.
"He's sitting at home watching lame T.V. movies...I checked and called him before I left my apartment." She giggled lavishly as she took a marshmallow and popped it into her mouth chewing slowly.
"Uhhm well, then help me pick something to wear!" I said getting up and walking to my closet and pulling back the curtain. I looked beck over my shoulder at Jenny with a puppy dog look in my eyes as I said, "Help me Jen... PWEEEASE?" I sounded so pitiful, and so desperate, but I was.
Jenny sighed and pushed herself up off of the chair and stood next to me looking into my closet and poking through clothes. "Ah ha! Here it is." She said triumphantly as she pulled out an outfit of a pair of light blue jeans and a white tanktop. "Here, simple, and it looks great on you!" She said with a proud smile on her pale face.
I took it and set it on my bed. "And shoes?" I said looking back at her.she bent down and picked up a pair of slip-on slippers that where black with a white sole and a black little buckle on the top. "Here you go, it matches! and here is a cute bracelet that will look super KAWAII!" She said taking a black plastic bracelet with a pink plastic heart on the side and slipping it on my wrist. "There now you got something to wear."
I smiled and turning around I took off my shirt and pulled the tank top over my head, and I slipped off my PJ pants and pulled on my jeans, putting on my black leather belt and buckling it, then picking up my clothes and throwing it into thw white hamper in the corner.
"Okay then, are you set to go then?" I asked Jenny as I picked up the bag of Marshmallow's and empty glasses, along with the bottle of chocolate syrup and the gallon of milk I made my way to the kitchen and put everything away. I made my way back to the room and saw Jenny had changed into a mini skirt and a long sleeved blue shirt.
"You like?" She sai twirling around then plopping herself down on my bed. "Yeah it's cute." I said pulling her back to her feet.
Okay then let's go..." I said grabbing my keys and turning off my room light, and the hall light. I locked the front door, walking to the elevator I looked nervously towards Jenny as I stepped into the elevator as it opened. Then it seemed to be forever to open it's doors and releasing me into the first floor, I walked out the door and to my car in the front. I sat in the car and closed my eyes for a moment to cool my head. Jenny got in and closed the door, she looked at me and smiled. "you are going to be fine... Now lets get going." She assured me as she gripped my shoulder. Then she released me and clicked her leatbelt into place. I put the key into the ignition and turned it listening to the engine hum. I switched on the CD player and let the CD ride the whole way to Conans house. We sat in silence, or silence except the music.
When we arrived at his house I was shaking a little bit. This was the only guy I have ever liked this much. I got out of my car and told Jenny to wait there. I knocked on the door and waited a minute or so until I heard footsteps behind the door. A sloppy looking Conan answered the door, in his messy hair, shirtless torso and un buttoned jeans he looked at me as if surprised. I surprised him alright, but at that moment my heart began to beat wildly.
"Uhhm hey Violet, How's it goin'? This is a pleasant surprise. Why the sudden Visit?" He asked smiling pleasantly. I smiled and blushed. "I just wonderd if you wanted to go out with Me and Jenny and Her boyfriend, y'know, like to hang out and go watch a movie, and eat or something..." I asked him and looked into his eyes.
He seemed to ponder this for a moment or so and nodded. "Sure, right now?" He looked at me.
"uhhm, y-yeah, unless you want to do it another day." I replied blushing so much I felt my ears grow warm.
"N-No, it's fine, just come on in and I'll get changed. Sorry for the mess." She said openeing the door to me nd turning walking inside. I turned and motioned to Jenny to wait a moment and she smiled.
I walked in and looked around, wandering room to room and I came upon his room, I saw him cxhanging as I blushed and walked away he saw me walking around. I walked to the couch and sat there. WHen he walked out he smiled sheepishly, so you like the house? I see you gave yourself the grand tour." He grinned and sat beside me on the couch.
"Oh, I-I'm sorry...I-" I looked down my face grew crimson red as I fiddled around with a frayed hole in the knee of my jeans.
"No, it's okay...So did you like what you saw?" He asked as he put is hand under my chin moving my face up so I can look at him. "uhh, y-yeah." I said stuttering not knowing if I should have said that.
He smiled and got up trying to hide his blushing face. "Well uhhm... Thank-you"
"I think we should get back to the car." I said opening the door and walking to the car I got in. Jenny oyu moved to the back seat? Why?" I said looking in my rear view mirror.
"Duh! So he can sit in the front with you..." She giggled.
He walked to the car so we gre quiet, he got in and closed the door "Oh, hey Jenny, He said looking at me, then putting on his seatbelt sitting back. I started the car and smiled at him as I drove off. "So where are we going again Jenny?" I ased and I looked back at her through the mirror at her. Jenny looked up, "Huh? Well I wanted to go to the beach we can meet up with my boyfriend there at the pier." She said calmly staring at Conan, and shifting her weight and then looked at me.
"So Conan do you have anyone that you like at the moment? Or are you just changin' out for a while?" Jenny said winking at me from the mirror.
Conan didn't turn around but did give it thought as to whether to answer or not. "Uhhm, yeah, I do like someone, I think about her alot too." He said with a smile on his face.
I looked sideways to him smiling and blushing, hoping he didn't notice.
"Oh, well that's nice, how long ago did you see her?" I asked him as I stopped in the parking lot of the beach and turned off the car as she put it in park.
"Hmm, Actually today I saw her." He said as she got out of the car and leaned against the car.
Jenny walked over to the other side of the car and began whispering something in Conans ear. He blushed and nodded smiling then he straightened up and walked to the trunk of the car where I was. "So.... Violet, what about you? Do you like anyone?" He asked closing the trunk for me as I made my way out of the parkinglot and down the dock to the sand dunes and I sat down looking at the water he sat next to me. "Well, Yes actually...I do like someone." I said looking at him absent mindedly.
He looked at my, "really? Who is it? I'll tell you if you tell me."
"I uhhm, I dunno..."
He smiled, "C'mon at the count of three I'll say it if you say it at the same time...ONE...TWO..THREE...I Like you."
We said blushing looking away.
"Since how long?" I asked looking at the sunsetting in the sky.
"Since the second month of that summer." Conan slid is hand on mine and he scooted closer to me and kissed my cheek.
"Conan..." I began but he stopped me and kissed me.
He pulled away and smiled bashfully. "I-I'm sorry that was too forward of me." He said looking away his beautiful green eyes shone with the suns last rays of day.
"No, it's fine...But I don't know...Th-This feeling...What is it?" I looked up at him as I asked this.
Conan looked at me and smiled "I think it's Love...Have you ever been in Love?"
"N-No...I've never known Love...until now and you?" I said Replying and looking off to the darkening horizon.
He looked at me grimly. "Wel, uhhm, then w-would oyu like to be my g-girlfriend?"He asked nervously.
I turned looking at him and smiled then embraced him. "Yes, I would be honored and GLAD to be your girlfriend." I kissed him on the lips lightly.

See, here I am to comment. :3
I like where it's going so far. Conan and Violet have a cute relationship. There are a few typos and run on sentences so far, and try making new paragraphs; so far it's one long paragraph. But I like it, and will continue to read!
