It was a lazy afternoon for Les. The sun was partly hid behind the clouds, and she was resting under the shade of a tree. Golden eyes, matching the savana grass around her, scanned the horizon. No prey had come by her, and no enemies had come to surprise her.
She sighed, and stood up, her tail twitching lightly. "Well, I won't sit around all day." She mumbled and started to make her way toward a watering hole. The leopard might as well get a drink and see if there's any company down at the water's edge.

Kizuka'Mchopozi lounged down near the water, though not in it. Her dark eyes scanned all of the wildlife around, looking for someone with something of value. Something shiny, perhaps? Or maybe something tasty... She imagined the various possibilities... She found that daydreaming could be quite productive. She planned how to steal the next thing from her next victim.
Now there's something interesting... Kizu thought to herself, her eyes following a female of her own kind heading towards the water hole. She hadn't seen one of her own in quite a while, and she was unsure as to whether she liked it or not. She got up to go "get a drink," but rather to observe and study this other leopardess, paws falling absolutely silently on the ground.

There seemed to be others who wished to partake in drinking from the waterhole. One seemed to be of her own kind, but she was cautious. Les sliped down to the waters edge, knowing she could be seen by all, and lowered some and began to lap lightly at the water.
She lifted her head to lick her dripping lips. Letting her eyes glance around to see the other leopardess had gone from laying down to moving around. Her dark tiped tail twitched some in curiousity. Wondering what she was up to she, she sat, and began to survey the area around her as if it would give a clue about the other one there.

Kizuka headed over to the opening nearest her own kind and began to drink, peeking out of the corner of her eye. When she had quenched her imaginary thirst, she straightened up and approached the other of her kind. "It has been a while since I have run in to one of my kind," She said, quickly scanning the female for any valuables, finding none in her initial check. "My name is Kizuka'Mchopozi," She said with a quick nod, "Kizu for short."

Les lifted her chin slightly as Kizu had come over and introduced herself. "I am Leswiswana, I don't have short name, or mayeb I've had no need for one." Amber eyes graced over the teal and gray leopard. "It's nice to meet you. I usually keep to myself, but company is nice for a while."
She straightened up some, her tail tip light twitching up and down. "So what bring you to the waterhole, besides the water."

"Nice to meet you Leswiswana," Kizu said sizing up the other leopardess again for anything of value. She found nothing beneficial to herself, and gave up on that idea.
"I'm not one to be with others... but every now and then it's amusing to watch others," Her mother had raised her right, and let her stay in the territory, leaving kills behind for Kizu to find later. She had been raised almost completely on her own, running into her mother once in a while. And when they did meet again, it was a joyful meeting full of play. It is this kind of upbringing that allowed her to be so skilled and independent. She was quite glad for it.

Being more open to her own kind than others Leswi relaxed some. "I think you're the first I've encountered in months." Her eyes trailed from the leopardless to the water.
"I really do keep to myself. I hardly every see males, makes me think at times if there's even enough leopards around." Leswiswana sighed and leasiurly stretched. She never did like new meetings, talk was slow and lots of things felt like they were repeated.

Males... Kizuka rather disliked males. They'd always wander onto her turf, acting like they owned the place, and would further invade her private trees and treasure stashes. She wasn't fond of them at all, and therefore decided to ignore that comment.
"Same to you," she said. Once again, this leopard was fortunate not to be on Kizu's land. She attacked any and all other leopards that had stumbled onto her stretch of savannah. It was another dark secret hidden behind those teal eyes.

It seemed this Leopard disliked her, but that was fine with Leswi. She wasn't all to happy with where she was anyway. Giving a light smirk she looked away from the leopard. "So, where do you perch?" She asked, knowing that she'd stay clear of where she lived. No need to wander into other territory, unless there's prey.

Kizu wasn't particularly fond of anyone, really. She loved only her things, and she loved them desperately. It was all an issue of how she was raised, and not really much else mattered anyways.
"I live to the north-west a ways," She told the leopardess. Her home was near the jungle, but on the borders of it. She got the benefits of both the trees and the grasslands.
