This RP is for Vashti, her brothers and any other Tian Tang pup/adolesent interested in joining the fun! Of course, naturally, Faile and Jaxom are welcome to join in as well, whether it be to join in the games or watch from the sidelines!
Just join in!

Vashti's deep green eyes glared dispondantly out at the world surrounding her family den. Her pup brothers had all been on big adventures and come home bragging about them, Dax's being the most believeable so far as he had actually bought home his 'big adventure', but Vashti? She'd so far done nothing but stay within the pack lands. The set of her muzzle clearly read all sorts of boredom stricking the pup down, her head resting on the mud beneath her, paws either side of her face, idly scratching at the earth. A large sigh moved her whole frame as she looked to the left, not moving her head, just her eyes, toward the big woodland. What lay beyond that boundary? She had no idea, all she knew was what her parents had spoken of and her brothers' boasted about.
Making up her mind, the small pup got up, her black and brown pelt blending well with the earth of the den as she slunk away. She trotted to the edge of the growth of trees and sniffed at the bark of a large birch. There was scents of her family's passing and of some of the other packmembers, but mostly it was just musky wood scent. She liked that scent, it was a nice scent, one of comfort and of safety. Where there was wood smell, there was safety. Snuffling around, her nose took her north, a few steps futher into the wood. She found some pawprints, big ones, and sniffed around the fully formed padmarks. They belonged to her father, his scent was all around them. That was reassuring! Her father was a strong wolf, even if he didn't like to use that strength! Trotting a little further away, growing a little bolder, Vashti came across the droppings of a rabbit. They tantalised her nostrils. They were pretty fresh, which meant the rabbit must be nearby somewhere, but she wasn't really all that hungry, so didn't bother with stealth as she followed the rabbits trail, back towards the den.
Snorting as the scent went further into the packlands, Vashti sat outside her family den and sniffed experimentally at the air around her. It was pretty obvious the little pup was bored beyond belief. Where were her brothers and that new female pup when you needed them? She had energy she wanted getting rid of, and here she was, alone at the den! Where could they have all disappeared off too... Grumbling, Vashti flopped down into a laying position and rolled onto her back, looking up at the pale sky glinting through the green canopy of the forest surrounding them. Another big huffed sigh left the little pup's chest as she rubbed her back on the mud, probaby making her brown streak worse. Oh well, mother would probably want her to have a wash anyway! Grumbling to herself quietly, the little pup just settled and waited for something obscure and unexpected to happen.

Morning had seemed to come and go as the early afternoon was rolling on. Jaxom knew that, along with the new addition to the family, he was responsible for feeding six awaiting mouths as well as himself. He had managed to slip away with Dax and the boys for a small lesson in hunting. Eiros, Fen and Dax were all still too young but the concepts were easy to grasp and it seemed reasonable that the boys could start learning.
The tawny and carrot colored male panted slightly as he loosened his jaws from around the two hares's necks and dropped them to the ground. Because the snow was melting and spring was soon to come, the young vegetation and leaves were always a favorite for the rabbits and always seemed to attract the ones that were plump and fitting for any wolf. After toiling long runs, darting left to right, and pouncing too many times with awaiting jaws that were quick to snap, Jaxom was proud of the outcome. He and the boys had managed to trap and kill three, plump rabbits that would be fitting for a breakfast. Though it wouldn't be too filling, it would at least give the beta time to rejuvinate his energy and strength and set off once again to catch a decent lunch and dinner.
Lolling his tounge from out of his mouth as the hares fur clung to his tounge, Jaxom pawed at his maw and shook his head. "Ugh," he groaned as the fur seemed to wad within the sides of his gums and teeth. "Well boys, I think you've proven yourselves fine hunters," he chuckled softly as a rather prideful and proud grin set across his maw. "Thanks to you three cornering the last one and not holding back, we have three rabbits for breakfast. It's good to know that your instincts are sharp because that makes for fine wolves."
Dax sat on his haunches as his icy orbs mulled over the dead rabbit that sat before him and his brothers. It had took alot of effort but, with one anothers assistance and quick reactions, all of them had managed to succeed in their first kill. He was silent, attentive to his father while his tail thumped nonchalantly behind him.
"...They're not had to hold on to," he commented, as he found his fangs to easily pierce through the hare skin and clench upon its limbs for an easy grip. "But they're tricky and fast."
Jaxom nodded his head as he nuzzled against the ebony and white swirled male. "But quick thinking and fast reactions are the key and they don't just apply to hunting- they apply to everything in life. If you can strategize, plan and act upon your instincts, you can succeed. Now, let's head home, shall we?" He commented, lowering his maw towards the two hares.
"Do you think you three can carry the last hare home?" He questioned, just as he wrapped his maw around the two hares and glanced towards his three sons.

"'Course we can, Dad," Eiros yipped confidently, tail waving high in a confident manner as he trotted along. He was a blue-grey shadow of a pup, vaguely resembling his father in his patterning but with bright, pale blue eyes that came from neither mother or father, but from a distant ancestor. "We're gonna be master hunters someday, right?"

The tawny and carrot colored male gave a wide grin as best he could with the two hares stuffed within the gapes of his maw. Nodding, the beta swayed his tail in an estatic and pleased manner and began to pad ahead of his boys. By now, Vashti and Faile were probably curious as to where the four of them had gone off to but at least he could smooth over their upset natures (which was more than likely) as they were bringing home an appetizing breakfast that would certianly please their empty stomachs.
Dax sat on his haunches, eyes mulling over the hare as his senses were becoming taunted by such tantilizing smells. The scent of blood seemed to waft lightly within the air but it was just enough to stir the small pups appetite.
Looking towards Jaxom, Eiros and Fen, the black and white swirled pup narrowed his eyes and looked back down towards the hare. Snorting a sharp breath, Dax wrapped his small maw around the neck of their meal as best he could and began dragging it along as he followed behind dad.
Jaxom couldn't help but chuckle as he managed to glimpse back and spot Dax dragging the hare along and taking it upon his own initiative. But upon Eiros's question, he smirked.
"'Course! You're my sons and you'll be much more than master hunters," he replied, trying to make the words as understandable as best he could.

Vashti's bordom of being left at the den on her own had got the better of her, and, still lying on her back, had fallen asleep. Her mouth had lolled open, and her tongue now flopped out of the corner of her mouth, a pink shock against her black brown fur. Now and then, a twitch of her paws was all that really signified she was in the world of the living, that and the occassional grunt and snore. In her dream, she was play fighting with her brothers, and had beaten them all, sitting on the top of the pup-pile and being congratulated by her parents with big licks and playful yips. Her own yip of response sounded quietly in her throat, and her tail gave a few happy thuds.
Slowly, her dream changed into one of a hunt, her and her father stalking a rabbit that had yet to realise their presence, and when Vashti leapt and caught it easily, her father bounced around with her. She was sat proudly on her catch, chin raised, clever grin on her face. In her lying position, Vashti rolled over onto her side, where her paws started to twitch as though she were running, a few 'uff's escaping her throat. In her dream, she was suddenly being chased by a big black shadow, reaching out to her with big swirling tentacles. Her whines got louder before she jolted herself awake, green eyes wide as she glared around. What had that been about? Yawning wide, Vashti sat up and looked around herself. Where were her family? She was so so bored! Standing, Vashti made her way over to the den and sat inside the mouth of it, a huge sigh shaking her whole frame.
"Ooooh, come back soooon!" She muttered, a frown creasing her forehead.

Ears perking forwards as his keen, emerald eyes were narrowed towards the den, Jaxom's tail swayed merrily behind him as he approached the entrance. "Faile, Vashti?" He called out, taking a few steps forward and loosening his maws grips. But before he could call out again, a mischevious gleam abided within his eyes as he found his only daughter to have seated herself at the mouth of the den, perhaps waiting and mildly flustered that she hadn't tagged along for the adventure.
Jaxom would have to make it up to her another day.
Smiling, he walked past her a step or two only to release his grip from the hares and glanced back towards her. Silently he crept behind her and suddenly slid onto his forepaws and stomach as he manuevered his paws around her and drew her close, nuzzling her and seizing her with tender kisses.
"And what do you think you're doing?" He playfully growled with a rumble of glee. Nipping at her ear and wuffing softly, Jaxom brushed against her. "Did you cause trouble?"
Following shortly behind, Dax's small jaws were clenched firmly upon the hare as he walked past both Jaxom and Vashti. His mind was elsewhere and his temperment was sub-level; focusing on the unknown and leaving him silent and speechless.
Dragging the hare towards the other two, the black and white swirled pup stifled a small growl and padded off into the shadows just by the mouth of the den. He wouldn't alienate himself- no, he liked his families company but he just had a different way of expressing it most often.
Wrinkling his muzzle as he licked the blood from around his muzzle and nose, the small pup curled his tail around him and placed his head upon his paws.

Vashti's ears perked as the familiar sounds of her father and brothers came closer. Her father was the first she spotted, with his tawny and carrot fur showing up clearly from a distance. Next, her younger brother Dax. Vashti liked Dax well enough. He didn't really seem to like her way of expressing happiness and love for her family, mainly through licking and nipping at the others, but he seemed to put up with her, and that was all Vashti could ask for, unless he wanted to be more calm and collected. Sometimes she would beg him for attention and nuzzle against him till he agreed to a pup-hug. After all, who could deny the little female what she really wanted when she really wanted it?
Watching her father place the hares to the side, Vashti was about to turn her attention back to the outside when a pair of large paws surrounded her and dragged her further into the cave. Her maw released squeals and 'uff's of a puppy laughter as her legs waved and back twisted to escape from her father's attentions, grumbling happily at the tickles of his whiskers on her stomach, gently pawing at Jaxom's face and muzzle in a playful attempt at pushing him away.
"No no no, bad father! No gang up on me!" She reached foreward, showing a development of strong muscles in her back and stomach and nipped at his muzzle, before rolling onto her front and ministating a similar attention to his face, tongue licking continuously, over his muzzle especially where the taste of food intrigued her. She sat back at his question, one ear perked forward, the other bent at a funny angle.
"Me? Trouble? No no, father, never me!" She giggled and stretched her toes, before looking back to her father. "I just woke later. I was all on my lone, so I thought it best to stay put, 'cos me thought I may be in trouble if I go walk on my own." Focusing her attention on her strangely patterned brother, Vashti's tail wagged crazily and she got up, boncing toward him and licking at his muzzle, nuzzling under his chin before nipping his shoulder and racing outside, tail high and wagging slowly as she looked around, feeling more brave to go for an adventure, now she had her family at home.

"Yeaaaaah! Don't pick on Vashti!" Laughing, Eiros lept into the fray, shadow-grey tail wagging happily as jaws clamped down on Jaxom's orange-tipped one. The hare he'd been dragging along lay on the ground, temporarily forgotten in his playful impulse.

"Gang up on you?" Jaxom growled playfully, his emerald orbs holding a gleam of mischief and thrill as he found his maw seized at by the small female pup. His ears fell slightly against his skull as, behind him, his orange tipped tail thumped with pure zest upon the den floor. As Vashti displayed similar affection as she licked his muzzle daintily, the beta kept a grin tucked at the corner of his maw. "If I was ganging up on you I'd have more helpers. I can't do this on my own, you know?"
Watching the two wrestle mildly and roughhouse, Dax's ears fell against his skull as he slinked up to his paws and sat upon his haunches, somewhat uncomfortable and undecisive in finding a good posotion to sit in. He wanted to play, he wanted to have fun too! But there was a part of him that didn't see him as an equal compared to them- because of what he was, or what he was said to become.
The voice within his head had made it clear that he was destined moreso to become bloodthristy, vengeful and ruthless; he was a born killer and the darkness was to consume him. Dax didn't want to hurt anyone- he didn't want to cause pain.
But the internal battle between light and dark had long commenced and the damange had yet to be done.
If he told them, they wouldn't understand- he knew that they'd make fun of him and think him stupid, strange and a bad wolf. And that was the last thing he would ever want; for his family to rid of him for good. Rather than speaking his mind, Dax lived in silence- avoiding his other half to disrupt what he had or making sure that his darker side wouldn't pillage and drive away those he loved.
If only they knew- if only they could understand the internal torment. Perhaps they would understand the ebony and white swirled pup better.
A broad grin swept across the tawny and carrot colored males maw. "Is that so? Well," slinking his paws near her for another sly attempt to catch her off guard, Jaxom's ears perked up as a sudden pressure and prickling sensation caught his tail. Glancing back to see Eiros's maw latched upon it, Jaxom narrowed his eyes with a playful expression.
"Oh, so you're ganging up on me too, eh Eiros?" Swaying his tail, Jaxom drew his tail closer towards him and suddenly wrapped his paws around his shadow-grey pelted son. Rumbling and nipping at him, Jax chuckled.
"Did you think I wouldn't get you?"
Aside from the chaos and family fun, Dax's attention was focused outside. His orbs curiously scanned and narrowed as he watched several birds fly out from the trees and scatter within the skies, flying every which way and listening to the sounds of the river echo within the woods and the gentle breeze rustle through the boughs overhead. Before he could even manage to think and organize his thoughts, he jerked slightly as a small nuzzle seemed to whisp across him.
Shaking his head and narrowing his gaze towards whatever was near him, Dax furrowed his brows but relaxed as Vashti nuzzled underneath his chin and quickly nipped at him.
Wrinkling his muzzle before he could react, his sister had already bounded outside, taunting him with her tail waving above her like a banner and an incentive to explore and play. Shifting his ears, Dax mused with a minute smile.
"Wait up," he called out, leaping into small yet powerful puppy strides after his sister. Drawing farther outside and into the sunshine, the ebony and white swirled pup stood a distance away from her but was struck with a random idea. A small, devious smile crept upon his maw as his ears flattened against his skull. Creeping low, Dax began to sink low to his stomach and swiftly close in on her.
Suddenly, the black and white swirled pup playfully leapt at her and tacked her as playfully growls sounded from his throat.
"Gotcha!"

Vashti chuckled at her father's comments, tail wagging briefly as she watched her younger brother Eiros get pounced next. She lowered onto her chest, forelegs spread as though she wanted to join in when she noted her other brother Dax had actually followed her out. She wolf-grinned at him and had just turned back to watching their father gang up on Eiros when she was sent flying by a sudden force to her side. She yelped in surprise as her and her assilent rolled a couple of times to land with herself pinned beneath Dax. Her dark forest coloured orbs were wide with surprise, and as she narrowed her eyes to look up through the glare of the sunlight, Vashti's mouth split into another puppy-grin and started to vigourously lick Dax's face. Her ears pinned back at the ruckus coming from within the den where their father was still rough housing with Eiros and Vashti felt an eerie sence of calm come over her as she stopped ministrating Dax with her puppy-licks.
"Awww, no fairs Dax! I only little and you been having hunting lessons from father!" She nipped playfully at his ear, keeping the tip of it in her teeth carefully, one paw lax and the other pressing to his face and shoulder in mock rivalry for his position. Her tail thumped noisily as she lay, the thick cord of fur and muscle disturbing the sandy ground and throwing up dust. Using both forepaws, Vashti pushed Dax off and lay on her front, inspecting her already suspect back ridge. The muddy brown colour wasn't the most flattering of colours, and she remembered clearly her mother thinking it was mud when she was born. The same colour adorned her paws, tail tip and patterned her face. Now, the brown tinge looked more blonde with the sandy earth lodged between the fur bristles. She glowered playfully at her brother. "You done that!" She accused, before grinning and licking his face in one long stroke and scrambling away with a giggle, sinking into a play stance, bottom in the air, tail wagging so fast it was no more then a black blur.
Vashti's dark forest eyes watched Dax's every move, and she feined to both sides before pouncing straight on, attempting to push him over before racing out of the small clearing surrounding the family den and racing into the thick undergrowth, initiating a game of tag with her reclusive brother. It wasn't often she got the chance to play such games with her brothers, so she was going to enjoy every minute. Crouching low in her hiding place, she let her large ears perk forward and swing back, waiting for his approach to leap out and run past him, confuse him completely! That's the best way to play this game!

Toppling over his sister as a devious smirk settled across his maw, the ebony and white swirled male narrowed his icy, blue orbs as his white ringed tail waved furiously behind him. Puffing out his chest slightly, his body seemed to give a minute startle of a cringe as Vashti began to lick about his face.
"Vashti...." he moaned, his ears pinning against his skull as his eyes squinted and muzzle wrinkled.
He really didn't mind it but, sometimes, he felt as if it wasn't necessary- perhaps it was the darkness inside of him conjuring a belief that he wasn't worthy to ever recieve such love for what he was and was bound to become? Even he was still confused but he was bound to make sort of his perdicament soon enough.
Cocking an eyebrow as he tilted his head slightly Dax peered at his muddy brown hued sibling. "Nothing's fair-" he said in a casual, soft tone that was somber. Before he could make another move, a playful grow and one that was a bit irritated escaped from his throat as his sister took hold of his ear within her maw and pressing her paw into his face and shoulder. As his mind seemed to wander, he suddenly found himself to be pushed off from atop her and stumbling back onto his paws. Snorting a sharp breath, Dax lowered his head as his tail arched behind him.
What did he do? Get her fur all sandy?
He stood there with a slight snarl tucked at the corner of his maw as the back of his neck bristled slightly. "I didn't do it!" He spat, ears lying flat as the thing he feared the most had stirred.
Can you feel your anger? Why do you let it pent up within you, Dax? Release it; feel its power and to those who do you wrong- keep them in their place.
The voice within his mind echoed, his shattered self convincing him- urging him to fight back. An internal battle between light and dark and long been waged and darkness was looking as if it was to consume the ebony and white swirled pup into a vengeful, bloodthirsty dominant aggerssor. But Dax didn't want to become that.
"She didn't do anything wrong," he growled, silence coming from him as he thoght the words to the one within himself.
Fight.
"No."
Oh Dax- you amuse me. You're quite strong but sooner or later that barracade you put up will be obliterated. I am inside you, I am you- and I will be the one to bring you into the power of the darkness. The voice chuckled, a malicious tone and chilling sensation seeming to cause Dax to stall- anger and fear weighin him down.
As the voice faded to the back of his mind, Dax shook his head and gritted his teeth. He didn't want to face this thing- he never asked to be split between light and dark. But before he could think straight, Vashtin suddenly lunged at him and caused him to topple over onto the ground. Watching as she darted off somehwere, the ebony and white swirled pup snarled quick and shook his fur off.
"Stupid self, I'll show you," he spat- repressing the lingering feelings of hatred deep within himself and sighed heavily, his ears perking forwards as he tried to conjure a more relaxed and playful smile as best he coud upon his maw. For now, he would have to hunt and find Vashti in her little game. Certainly this would be interesting.
"Vashti......"

((Poor Dax XD He's really all confuzzled XD Should I feel bad for making Vashti a loveable pain in the arse? XD))
Vashti giggled into her paw as she spotted the banded paws through the undergrowth, listened intently. She knew Dax would expect her to go to him when he called her, afterall, she was the lowest of the pups, not as strong as them, and not really fussed by her position within their family unit, actually enjoying being the bottom pup. She was looked after, and treated like some precious little thing that couldn't look after herself, but she could, and that was what made this position in her family unit more intriguing to her. She liked to spend time with each member of her family, but, deep down, she felt Dax deserved her attention more then the others. She didn't get on with him as well as Eiros, or play with him as often as with her other family members, except with maybe the exception of Fenuku, but there was something about him that just made her want to look after him, keep him safe. She couldn't explain it, perhaps it was her realisation at just how much of a distance he kept between himself and the rest of the family, but Vashti didn't like it. She liked having all of her family around her, and it felt wrong not having her younger brother with them.
She had to admit she did feel jealous of the new pup that had joined them, Bindi. She seemed to have touched something in Dax she hadn't been able to, and Vashti so desperately wanted to get to know all her siblings as closely as she knew herself, to keep them safe, and just know their whereabouts whenever. But Bindi and Dax went off on their own forrays, something Vashti could never remember doing with any of her siblings. Shaking her mind free of the sad thoughts of how lonely her brother seemed, how distant, Vashti slunk along on her belly to the left, flanking her younger brother. She waggled her tail a couple of times, ears perked forward, watching her odd coloured brother through the stalks of some fern. She realised she could hide quite effectively under fern leaves, her small body no larger then some of the biggest leaves. Sliding her paws one over the other, shifting the loam out of the way as she slunk across the ground, Vashti snickered into her chest at getting away without her brother realising. It was just as she got clear of the way her brother had stalked, she disturbed a ground bird, who went up with a startling squarking.
"Ahhh, damn!" She cried, and set off at run with a yapping laugh, attempting to get as far away as quickly as she could. Which... admittably, wasn't all that fast, being as she as small.

((Nope 8D))
Whether Dax would admit it or not, he never believed in a higher order within the family. Of course there were times where he coud display an assertive nature and times where he would fall silent and draw his attention elsewhere but, for the most part, the young pup didn't see himself better than anyone else- sometimes he even felt lower than an omega. Dax kept his distance and let those in who were seeking to understand him but the only person who seemed ahead in getting to understand the mind of the ebony and white swirled pup was Bindi but even he couldn't truly explain that strange sensation of trust and peace he felt while he was around her.
Icy, blue orbs scowered across the foilage and the vegetation as his ears perked upwards, paws aimbling across the ground as his tail swayed in gentle strokes behind him. His brows furrowed as the task of finding his sibling whose pelt could mesh and dissapear almost alongside the color of the earth and plants made the task a bit more difficult than he bargined for.
Pawing at several bushes, he kept a small grin to himself. He knew where his sister was hiding but rather than give an earyl end to the game, Dax thought it was best to continue and see how long he'd have to search before she'd get bored and give herself up.
But that didn't last long.
Black ears perked forwards as he swivled around only to watch as Vashti dashed from out of her hiding spot along with a squabbling bird who seemed to be irritated by the antics of a careless puppy. Narrowing his eyes as she ran away from the safety of the brush, Dax chuckled softly and bounded after her.
"I'll get'cah Vashti!" He howled with a quick laugh, banded paws stretching forwards as he dashed after her.

Vashti squealed a little in mock fear and her tail beat quicker as she picked up her paws to run a little faster. The effort to maintain a wagging tail and run was proving most difficult, and the force with which her tail swug put her whole lope out of proportion, with her bottom swinging from side to side and causing her hind paws to tangle with her front. The first stumble she corrected swiftly but in doing so, her other legs became tangled and she sent herself tumbling head over tail, landing very haphazardly on her back, very dazed and very confused, which was evident from wide dark green eyes that stared blankly at the green canopy and blue swirls of sky above. Vaguely, she registered her name being called, but her mind was too busy trying to figure out where she was to focus on anything else.
Slowly coming to her senses, she raised her forepaws to feel nothing and saw that the dark brown extentions of her body covered the green and blue ceiling. She gazed at her paws for a moment, identifying them as her own before falling over onto her side and shaking her head, ears lowered around her face in a look of pure confusion and in some way, saddness at spoiling the game. She looked around at the foliage and the ground and then to her paws and attempted to push her self up, sitting uncertainly before her tail started to wag once more, though only the occassional thump as she got her bearings. She came to realise that she was facing the wrong way to the way she had been running, and could clearly make out her brother Dax just wear she had been hiding. She tilted her head.
"I'm sure I wasn't running that way..." She murmured, before turning and looking the other way, spotting the den and short ways off, her face suddenly splitting into a grin as she shook her head, ears slowly perking up, one clogged with some dust and leaf litter where she'd skidded. Pushing her hind quarters up so she was stood, facing the den, Vashti waggled her tail less violently. That was a lesson for the books! Hyperactive tails caused collisions with the ground! She giggled at this, and turned to see what had become of her pursuer.

Dax's tongue lolled daintily from out of his mouth as his maw was wide open with exhilarating pants drawing from it. His orbs that were most often somber and serene with no interest whatsoever were locked upon his sibling with a kindling sensation and light abiding within them. He rarely ever did play with his siblings but, this time, it felt good to at least have fun!
His steps seemed to slow as his maw opened slightly, watching either in awe or becoming dumbfounded as he watched Vashti find her paws to become ensnared by her own attempt to flee and sending her to tumble and flop in a disaster array of limbs and fur. The ebony and white swirled pup knitted his brows as he slowly padded towards her, cautious steps as he wasn't certain if this was a trick or somethind deviously planned to throw him off his pursuit.
"Vashti?" He softly spoke, curiosity and concern were most discernable within his tone, "Are you alright?"
Drawing only several feet away, Dax plopped himself upon his haunches and pattered his tail with a great thump upon the ground. He watched in silence as she struggled to regain her composure and to get her bearings straight. Wrinkling his muzzle as he slowly rose to his paws, the ebony and white swirled male drew closer towards the muddy-brown pup.
He wasn't too sure what to think or how to react but whether or not the game would commence or what other tricks would be played, Dax slowly drifted towards her and kept on his toes just in case.
