Just because I highly doubt there is another thread like this, I'm just going to post without bothering to check any of the pages. xp
My question to you all is, have you ever taken part in Metal Marathons? By "Metal Marathon" I mean listening to full discographies, or whatever you have by a certain band within your personal collections.
On Wednesday, I listened to Dream Theater from 11:30 in the morning to 3:30 Thursday morning. It was part of a third attempt at listening to my entire Dream Theater collection, which spans 13 CDs. I had listened to five of their CDs the night before, and was resuming with Falling Into Infinity. I ended on Score, and immediately went to bed.
Yesterday, I did the same with my Fates Warning collection. Listening from about noontime to 2:30 this morning. 11 discs this time, as opposed to 19 for my Dream Theater collection (two of my CDs are 2-disc, two are 3-disc).
So, have any ever taken the time to do such a thing? What is the longest collection any of you have ever listened to?

Lemme go down the list: When Dream and Day Unite Images and Words Live at the Marquee Awake A Change of Seasons Falling Into Infinity Once in a LIVETime Scenes from a Memory Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence Train of Thought Live at Budokan Octavarium ScoreThat's 13 releases, and a total of 19 discs, since LIVETime and SDoIT have 2-CDs, and the Budokan and Score albums have 3. I listened to the first five on that list on Tuesday, then stopped to go to bed. I woke up at 11, and from 11:30 to 3:30 Thursday morning, I listened to the remaining Dream Theater CDs from my collection. That's...16 straight hours of Dream Theater.
