Who: Liliana, Endless, Severus (and maybe later, Remus) When: The morning after Snow Where: Potions Classroom inside Realm Headquarters What: hahaha! Guess! Why: Because it'll be down-right amusing. 4laugh Flicking her tails in her sleep a red-furred female still quite new to her adulthood snuggled into the warm body beside her. Sometime during the night one brown & gold wing had stretched over the other occupant of the rather large snow-white pet bed in which they slumbered almost like a blanket. Her gold tipped paws had shifted places, though one still supported her head while the other draped softly over her eyes. As there were no windows in this room, Liliana would have no idea if she had overslept or not. For now, she did not think of anything, not even dreams. In sleep she was merely content to be comfortable with the company of another warm body of one she trusted.
Of course to one who knew the room he or she would see that the "bed" seemed to have taken the place of the smaller of two desks in the room.

Endless however was having a dream. He was a small kit in this dream, and there was a cookie jar on top of a cabinet and he asked someone if he could have one... and they said "If you can reach it!" and laughed at him. Suddenly the cabinet was the size of a mountain and the mocking voice kept laughing and the taunting phrase it had spoken kept echoing around his head. He startled to the point of not-quite-awake, and felt Lili's wing across his back. Then he fell back asleep and Lili was in the dream and he asked her if she could fly him up to get a cookie, and she just smiled at him and got her wand and did that thing with the flick and then the cookie jar started floating down to him and he could get as many cookies as he wanted...
For the first time in a long time Endless smiled in his sleep, only no one was around who could see it.

Severus flicked his tails as he padded down the hall silently, his mind was going over various things, some family related, some not. Using a paw he pushed open the door, instantly he quirked a brow. "Well now, there's a productive use for a classroom" He said not trying to soften his voice. InnerSev flailed, unable to respond due to being tied in a closet, altho his bulging eyes showed he wasnt to happy about stumbling upon the sleeping pair

Her topmost ear flicked at the sound of the door opening, then twitched at the voice. Still asleep it took her a moment to register the voice. "Professor...?"
It took a split second longer for her to remember the night before & she gasped, her eyes fluttering open wide as she lifted her head. "Oh! The desk!" She looked chagrinned but not the least nit mollified or embarrassed about her sleeping arrangements or sleeping companion as much as guilt at not being ready.

Endless blinked his eyes open at Lili's whispered word and then spotted the very green male in the doorway. Rather regretfully he slipped out of the bed, but Lili would probably need her desk back now. In a way he regretted not really being able to help Lili put it back and get her things ready, but there wasn't really anything he could do at the moment.
He scooted away from the bed so Lili would have room to change it back, still blinking sleepily. He wasn't quite awake yet. "Mrph... mornin'?"

Severus pursed his lips together, shifting his cold, golden gaze from Liliana, to Endless, and then back to Liliana "I would expect such from one like him, " He said nodding his head towards Endless "But from you Liliana....." he trailed off, leaving the rest to her imagination.

Her ears drooped and Liliana slunk as she got out of the bed. She did not like to disappoint Severus. He was being so good to teach her...
Lily hung her head, properly chastised. "I... I'm sorry. I was upset... & tired. I didn't want to go home and only thought that no one would bother us here..."
Drawing her wand from its leg holster she changed the desk back almost dismissively. "I..."
Whatever she had been about to say faded as Liliana caught what Severus had said about her friend. Fire flashed in her eyes. She could take criticism of herself, but not her friend. "What do you mean "one like him"?" She spoke up in his defense. "Endless is nice! He's my friend!" Although strong her voice carried with it s hint of a whimper & the thought that followed after it one of only two I have...

Endless looked Severus square in the eye, suddenly feeling very alert. "I don't know what "one" you think I am, but you don't know me, so don't assume." Magic or no, Endless was not afraid of the potions master. About the only thing he was afraid of was being alone for the rest of his life... "It was well below freezing last night, we were both tired, and we decided to stay here for varying reasons." End of story, short and sweet. He could just deal with it.
Endless turned back to Lili. "D'you have time to eat something? I could make some toast or something."

The potions master's maw took on a sneer, not something uncommon. Defiance from both of them? How very Romeo and Juliet of them. His tails flicked, he made no sign he was going to move from the doorway anytime soon. Frank peeked out from the folds in Severus's scarf, saw the look on everyones faces and promptly dived out and scurried behind the desk. Severus turned his gaze to endless "One who is not seeking lessons, one who is not trying to further they're potions knowledge, one who is not expected to follow rules of class because they are not in a class. " He said with a cold edge. "In those terms, yes i do know you"
Turning his head to regard Liliana. How sweet, he found a soft spot. That was something one did not want to reveal to Severus. "I believe i just explained, altho i had no obligation to so, what i ment by 'one like him'. Cool your temper Liliana, " He finally entered the room, and passed her "It doesnt do well to jump to negative conclusions, if one did, would your father be where he is?" He asked in a coarse whisper as he passed by her. Remus having the werewolf curse, would be alienated if everyone jumped to a negative conclusion. Same with Severus's son Chaos. And for such a assumption to come from Liliana, well, the potions master thought she better then that. Apparently not.

Her flame of anger snuffed out abruptly. Exactly what he was accusing her of was precisely what she had suspected Severus of and to have it turned back on her like that -and especially bringing her father into the matter- made Liliana feel terrible & cold inside. "No, Professor..." She replied morosely, hanging her red head. "I'm sorry. I've not been thinking straight since..." She gulped heavily, her throat choking up. "... since learning Daddy & Mother are going to have more kits."
Liliana glanced at Endless eyes wracked with hurt but trying to smile softly at him. She could only nod that breakfast sounded nice.

Endless watched the older male for a moment before saying softly, "What I would like to do and what I am capable of doing are not always one and the same." Honestly he felt he would like to learn potions, but he lacked the magical abilities the other two appeared to have and he suspected that would interfere in ways incalculable. "Now, would you pardon me so I can go take care of morning necessities?" If Severus really wanted to make him stand here until he wet the floor he supposed that was his business, and if Lili hadn't been in the room he would gladly have been willing to do so to prove a point. Lili didn't deserve to be subjected to Endless' sour temper at the moment, though.

Severus snorted and flicked his tails. He'd heard through the grapevine Remus was to have more children. Part of him hoped for more students, another part of him hoped all kits from this point on despised potions with an intense passion and avoided the potions master at all costs. Such conflicts were normal for Severus though.
He turned his head slightly, gold orbs glancing at Endless "One doesnt need magic to know how to measure and pour liquids and herbs. If you truly wanted to learn you would have known the difference." He shrugged and went to his desk.
His attention once more shifted, to Liliana "Issues at home should be left at the door. no matter the time" He added, referring to their slumber party in the class-room. "If you were in a battle Liliana, would it really do you well to fumble because you fretted about future siblings? You'd end up roasted, paralyzed, or charred with memory loss. You need to learn to focus your mind"

If Liliana's head had not been lowered already she would have ducked it at that reproof. She sould almost say no one fought at headquarters, but she knew that was not always the case if only from heresay. After all, there had been havok wrecked that her mother had to heal damages of the night she told Remus of the coming kits. Of course Liliana was surprised that she remembered that little added information. Yes, perhaps she should leave it at home.
Her head shot up & her green eyes widened. Severus no longer was in the doorway but she did not think of that now. "Left at home... my bag!" With hardly another thought she disaparated to aparate again a moment later slightly breathless, bag swinging around her neck. Ready now she smiled wanly between the two males before schooling her expression into her learning mode. "I must apologise, Professor Snape. Of course. It won't happen again. No matter what."
Her tails swished purposefully as she stood strong. There was only a flash of defiant pride in her eyes -a flicker & then gone. It might not have been the wisest choice, but her reasoning had been sound --no one had bothered them the entire night in the classroom.
She wondered momentarily if Endless would want to learn potions. Perhaps she could teach him... after she learned to focus. "I've never not been focused before. It caught me off guard. But I will learn."

Severus pursed his lips with a skeptical 'hmm' He momentarily leafed through some papers on his desk, stacking them neatly in one corner, and used Frank as a paperweight, much to the guardians disgruntlement. When he finally returned his attention back to Liliana, his expression remained the same; skeptical "Potions is about patience and focus Miss Liliana, it would do you well to learn them else you will progress no further then you are. I assume you would like to progress?" He asked, knowing full well the answer, but Severus never worked in conventional ways. He enjoyed reminding students of what they could so easily lose, if they crossed him enough to be removed from his class.

Endless just watched Severus walk past, face inscrutable once more. He waited until Lili had gotten back with her bag and then walked out the door. After taking care of himself quickly and washing up a bit he proceeded to the kitchen to make some toast.
Severus might have had a point if Endless had actually known a little more. But what was he to think but that potions making might require magic when it appeared that only magic users learned how to make them? If they didn't, though... well, he imagined potions were useful for lots of things. And he enjoyed learning new skills. It was just that so often he was presented with things he'd like to do that he simply wasn't capable of... And he wasn't about to ask that professor about it further. He doubted seriously that the older male would put up with Endless' utter ignorance about the subject. Making his own tea blends hardly counted. He might could ask Lili, but... that would have to come later.
He made three pieces of toast and put them on a plate with a knife and some butter on the side for Lili and trotted back to the room. He was fair certain he'd be kicked out of the room soon enough so his own breakfast could wait. He made a small coughing bark around the plate when he entered the room and waited for some indication as to where he should put it, not wanting to stick it in the middle of table while Lili was setting out her things.
