Rococo lolita?

Hmmm...Do you mean classic? I've never heard of Rococo lolita. I mean I know the origins of Lolita, just not that style. <.<;;

Rococo isn't really a lolita style. It's what the style is based off of and it's definately an inspiration for Classic and sometimes Sweet Lolita, however, Rococo-replica clothing would simply be identified as 'period clothing'.

I am not sure if this is the application fiaria intended, but here is what I found on www.fashion-era.com

The Gypsy Look - Spring Summer Fashion Trends 2005
The ‘gypsy’ look will be next years most widespread trend when topped off with disproportionate bling with rococo elements such as shells or spangles, metallic lustre sandals and an excess of accessories. The look is not peasant poor, but with tones of tempting Rita Hayworth in exotic mesmerizing gypsy mode, sultry and seductive. Skirts are fuller than they have been for years and billow with fabric.

Rococo to the Age of Adam
Earlier in the late 18th century, a similar move to an uncomplicated taste had taken place in other things including furniture, ceramics and silver. Previously heavily decorated objects had dominated rooms. These were called 'Rococo', a taste that sprang from the French word 'Rocaille' which literally meant rocky or shell encrusted and which flourished between 1730 and 1780.

Adam’s influence meant that Rococo waned and was replaced by more delicately balanced items, so that the house and the objects were harmonious. The Age of Adam coincided with the early stages of industrialization so that people like Hepplewhite, Wedgwood and Boulton were greatly influenced by the spirit of Adam.

By the early 1800s even Adam was thought too fanciful and decorative.

I read it. It's the first book I've read for pleasure in a very long time. I think its hilarious. I think Momokos character was made so that the majority of readers would be able to relate to her to an extent. Her character is unique which makes it interesting to read. At times she does seem selfish, but in the end she comes through for Ichigo. I'm sort of like Momoko at times as far as her Rococo point of view goes, but thats only to an extent. I highly suggest this book, it's quite entertaining. 3nodding

From what I've seen, out of the Classic brands, only Juliette et Justine could really be said to be based on Roccoco fashions, while many sweet brands have clothing that's very definitely Roccoco inspired.

Classic is much more Victorian, for the most part, with a little bit of Regency, occastionally.

I love that movie.
My boyfriend found it for me and we watched it together.
He's into rap and hip hop and he's actually helping me dress lolita.
I used that movie and Tokyo Drift to show him how I wanted to dress up.
