Cassara had a bag slung over her shoulder, one hand in her pocket. She used the free one to knock heavily on the door.
A sob was emitting from inside from Rose and a moaning sound could be heard.
“No Not my Kaida, Not her.” Rose wailed not having heard the door.
Cassara's ears swiveled. Hearing 'Kaida, not her'... She snorted, as far as she was concerned... Regardless if it had been said or asked that was her mate, her territory. She jiggled the handle. The door opened.
When Cassara came in she would have to move to Kaida’s room to find her. Rose was there sitting in the corner crying as Kaida lay on her bed looking awfully pale and her breath was very shallow.
Cassara having been here several times pervious, even if unannounced made her way to the bedroom. Her tail smacked the door open full swing. Her arms crossed, her eyes narrowed. "What the ******** did you do to her woman?"
Rose wailed loader as Cassara came in. “I! I! I! Didn’t do it! I just… found and… WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH” Rose wailed again, crying.
Cassara knelt next to Kaida. "You just found her? Woman, she's your daughter..." She hissed, and pulled Kaida into her lap.
“Cassara?” said Kaida looking up at her, eyes slightly vague. “Stop… Yelling… Not… My… Stupid.” She whispered.
“Cassara it hurts, he…” she said tears rolling down her face.
“He bit her… Drained it all…” Said Rose quietly from the corner.
Cassara didn’t know much of anything that bit except the beasts of the island. But the world he… Cassara’s hands were quickly running over the body in her lap. “You weren’t touched were you?” She hissed. “What did he do?”
“Vampire…” Kaida whispered softly hopping Cassara got the idea.
Cassara traced her finger over Kaida's lips. "Nothing internally damaged?"
“We don’t know! She was fine yesterday with some blood transfusions but… she… just COLLAPSED!” Rose said spluttering in the corner.
Cassara stood up with Kaida in arms. "So... This isn't from yesterday. This is previous inflicted, and I wasn't told." Her eyes were dangerously red, glowing.
“Two days ago, Halloween. Only found… yesterday. No time to tell you, too weak.” Said Kaida looking up at Cassara’s flashing eyes.
Cassara's tail swept, fiercely, in a protect motion. It was no doubt that she would be quick to use it. "I'll take you to a doctor. Or to the island. Your pick, but we are not staying here."
“No doctors… just do more test.” Kaida said in protest as her scales where slowly tinting blue and her front teeth getting a shaper edge.
Cassara's hands where tied, so mirrors were out of the question at this moment. "We'll have to settle for the cafe first, then the island." She headed towards the door. "Are you coming Rose?" Cassara's voice was tamer.
Rose Sighed, she knew there was no point In auguring and tried to get to her feet to follow. “Yes I am.”
It was after hours, and Cafe closed. Rhine could sense his sister, and opened the door. He didn't expect to have company. Especially Kaida in the arms of his sister. "If I had know we were having company..."
Kaida had fallen to sleep on the way there a sweat was beading on her forhead. Rose was timidly standing behind them.
"Sorry for the not giving you warning brother. But I didn't feel comfortable standing around there when she was like this. She didn't want a doctor..." Cassara sighed. Feeling better now that she was in familiar space.
Rose just stood back and let Cassara explain and Kaida twitched In her sleep.
Rhine cleared the closest table. "Rose you have no idea?"
Cassara's tail was again swaying protectively. She didn't move far from Kaida. "Something about Vampires. Surely there is a fix brother..."
“I don’t think so… I’ve never met someone who has become non vampire.” Rose said quietly.
"So what happens now." Cassara whispered. She didn't understand completely. "She won't die will she?"
“Don’t know… Depends on the Type.” Rose whispered.
"Men are cruel nasty creatures..." Cassara sighed, and sat on the edge of the table. "There isn't one left I'd trust, brother aside."
