Well... just wondering what fellow fans would like to read (since I like writing). If I were to write (in the somewhat near future) a fanfiction about Skip Beat, would people be more interested in a pairing with the existant characters or introduce an OC?
This was random... but do share thoughts... just for future reference? sweatdrop

Warning: Rabid KyokoxRen fan right here. Ya...that's why I'd prefer a pairing using characters from the book.
However...if you were to write a pairing w/ like Lory or someone, I think an OC would be VERY amusing.

and if you were to introduce an oc...i think that'd be interesting...depending on what role the oc plays...
i don't usually like when authors make ocs just to pair off with a character 'cause they don't always make sense (like i wouldn't see how the characters would've matched up given the course of the original series) but if an oc is thrown in to start a 'new arc' so to speak or to stir things up then it could be fun.

Maybe a pairing from the manga, but throw in an oc as a rival or something? Like pair Moko and Ren, but throw in an oc as a romantic rival for Ren (although you could just use Kyoko as the rival, if you wanted to).

funny thing is the only girl who's romance i've heard people talk about was kyoko...though i don't think i could conceive of moko and ren as a couple...

All very good suggestions... Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm... unfortunately, I (along with you all) will have to wait until after my AP tests are over to even start thinking about a concrete plot.
But the idea of the OC as competition against Ren would be fun-- except I couldn't create a guy... >.> Maybe I'd need some help if I were to write that.
Otherwise, a competition for Kyoko might be cool... I guess I'll wait and see until the 6th book comes out... Only-- *counts* 4 days left!!!! heart

I love OCs as long as people dont get carried away and make the character perfect/ if they twist around the story so much and add so many oc's that it's like a whole other mange

Okay...random plot bunny and probably really strange just scampered in front of me...what if Ren were split in two so he was the fairy Kuon and the Emperor of the Night Ren Tsuruga. Oh! Like in Shinshi Doumei Cross!!! heart heart
Now wouldn't that be interesting....heh heh.
