Try using the Subaru. It's all wheel drive helps you in those corners. Me, I used the Tier 2 Lotus Elise. If you hit the SpeedBreaker and the E-brake at the same time, it helps you corner a hell of a lot faster. Plus it keeps you at high speeds.

The Z? Nice. I beat him with the Lotus Elise. I can drive that thing like it's a tuner. Here's a tip : If you've got a tuner, leave the tire marker ( When you upgrade them ) in the middle. For muscle, put it to grip. And for exotics, drift. That way it counteracts the natural settings of the tires. Muscle cars, slide less, exotics grip less, and tuners ar more prone to slide in corners, but get good grip on straightaways.

You'd have to pay real close attention and do it just right. But I don't see why not.

Cheap. Anywho, I like doing these games the hard way. No mods, upgrade only after I conquer the island. ( Carbon. ) I'd start out with nothing added on, visual or otherwise, which severely limits the computer opponents as well, and race. That's tough.
