He hoped his father was having a better day than he was. Nevertheless, Natsiya was more afraid Tsani wasn't.
The young stallion sat beneath a tall tree, hoof etching the packed dirt absently. There was very little for him to like about this place, but his father seemed determined to stay. He snorted softly then at the memory of the black mare, Midori. He was glad at least that his father seemed to have the sense to avoid that trouble.
For now, anyway. Where son would avoid trouble, father seemed compelled to plow headlong into it.
He was still in the basket when his father left their herd in the mountains, and knew nothing of what led to the departure, save that the memories shadowed his father's face like a stormcloud when remembered.
Natsiya flexed his wings, rising to his hooves. That wouldn't happen here, too....he would make sure of that.

Lovey blinked in the almost spring-like weather. The mud that had made her long purple-blue mane a horrid mess was gone and after about five baths she was clean and feeling like herself.
Stepping forward Lovey put her nose high into the air and breathed deeply. "Mmm Spring has been coming and will soon be in full bloom." Looking up into the clear sky that was turning grey slowly, "Silly rainclouds, be gone.. I'm in no mood for your depressing spatterings" Chuckling softly and femininely to herself she sighed and lowered her head, "My dearest Lovey.. you are losing your mind, marbles, and apples."
Moving quietly, prancing for her own amusement she looked around, and spotted nobody. Grinning wickedly she began spinning, prancing, playing and dancing around happy with herself.
"Oh what a lovely day..."

The sky was clear and the sun was warm, sending welcome glowing beams across the valleys below him. Vudeux looked with pleasure as the land flew beneath him, as if with every stroke of his powerful wings sent the world spinning and he stood still. His silver hooves brushed through the clouds, leaving the stallion prancing on air.
With a pang he felt the stab of pain enter into the joint of his right wing. Cursing verbally he snorted and shook his head. No matter how much time had passed since his wing had snapped that faithful night, it seemed that pain would never let him go and he would never be as free as he once was. Growling and scowling the mighty stallion reluctantly returned to the earth.
Tucking his wings behind him like a bird of prey he dove from the sky and through the clouds. He barrel rolled in the air as he free fell to the earth, a small smile pushed on his face, though not from the wind that blew past him. When almost all seemed lost, and as if the stallion would crash head first into the ground he opened his large majestic wings and slowed his pace to gracefully land on the top of a grassy knoll.
Tucking his wings sorely onto his back he snorted again and shook his head, damnable ground. Damnable wing.
It was then he noticed the two white figures near him, once again he was driven from his solitude and into a place where he would be forced to interact with others. Wondering if he might sneek away into the forests un-noticed Vudeux quietly began to make his exit.
