Here's a thread for people who want help decifering odd symbols they find through meditations and what-not.
I know very little about symbology myself, so anyone who might know soemthign about symbols and stuff would have done better to start this thread, but I mostly made it for a request.
Does anyone here know what the importance of a Acid green Eye in which the iris and pupil are replaced with a dark blue jewel would be? During my meditations last night (I finally was able to meditate!), it came to me, yet I only wish I knew the importance of it.
To anyone who is able to help, I thank you graciously.

I'll throw in what little I know. Astrological symbols and Runes are my forte! ^_^

Do you have any idea what my "eye" means, then?

Your "eye"? Care to elaborate for me, since I have no idea what you're talking about?

Read his post...
Describe the acid green a little bit further. It is a dark or light green. When I think "acid" green, I think of dungeon crawler video games and their neon "acid" or "poison" attacks.

In order to save you from the embarrasment my friends have given me for the past two years - i think the phrase, in this instance, is symbolism, not symbology. >_>
Anyhoo... if you're into the whole symbol shizz, I recommend buying Postmodern Magic by Patrick Dunn, it's an utterly awesome wee book, and the author pretty much explains magick from the viewpoint of signs, symbols and semiotics. Dunn makes a good point that symbols only have meaning within the set they were made within; for example, the letter 'c' in English is pronounces as a soft 's' sound, or a hard 'k' sound, whereas in Slovak, it represents the sound 'ts'. As for your vision of the eye, it depends what system /you're/ using. The vision sounds like something representative of an Eastern-kind of culture, but I've no idea about them, so I'm afraid I can't help. XD

Symbols in alchemy usualy are just a way for hiding the actual way of doing it.

Ah, well the shade of acid green was like.....yeah, the old dungeon crawler videogames. A wee bit darker than that shade though. And yes, symbolism would be the proper word, that you so much!
