Well I don't know what's out there fully, but I would like to see a mod where you can take your magic armor and combine the effects... So if you have a piece of daedric armor with say fire resist 50% and some other pice of equipment with cold resist 50% you could go see a blacksmith or something and have them combined to have armor with both cold and fire resist... of course there would have to be a cost involved, most likely in both gold and souls...
I'm no scripter, but I'm reasonably sure I saw a mod similar to that somewhere, but with weapons; it might be able to be done in Oblivion, but would prolly require OBSE. Many people don't want to install that. Did you try looking on TesNexus for things like that?
