_A tower of metal and carbon fibre stretching to the stars, Spire is a vast city formed into a spear that peirces the very heart of Central City of the Sprawl. Except for the lower 24 levels, Spire is off limits to civilians without a unique and un-forgeable access card. You cannot even get in Spire Square that surronds the building without a clean SIN card, special sanctioning, or of course a really big bribe usually works.
_A closed city of the super-wealthy and politicians, Spire is a luxury known by the few thousand wealthy enough to place their money and stocks into Spire Bank, the owner company and only way to gain legal access. Filled with every convience imaginable, the grand obelisk of greed provides plenty of dreams of sprawl children and youths. Level 24 of the tower is the closest most get to the life of absolute luxury in the form of a club aptly named ' The Gates.' This level is the main data exchange of jobs that involve the often wicked and illegal opportunities that the Spire residence hire out to Sprawlers. In often feeble attempts of gaining clout amoung the rich and elite, ordinary solos and bounty hunters and the like seek well paying jobs as soldiers of fortune for the rich at The Gates in hopes of gaining a coveted key to a Spire Complex, a residential spot in the Spire's living quarters.
_Requiring not only a vast fortune, but fame and political power, A Spire Complex is one of the most coveted prizes among the poor and average children and youth. Even though a vacancy very rarely opens, there is always a constant struggle to gain position for even a chance at being on the list.
_The Spire Access Card is unforgeable for the fact that it is syncronized with the owner's cyberbrain data signature. The only way to even access a CDS is to manage to get inside the person's case anyways, so a surgeon or a top class hacker would have at least a vague chance.
