Ok, so I'm currently in 2 bands.
One is a metal/ punk band, I play bass and my friends in the band are good, but unreliable (as in practice, grades, etc.)
The other is going to be an indie rock band, I'm going to play guitar (and possibly keyboarrd), along with 2 good musicians, one that is decent, and another that simply sucks; but they are reliable when it comes to meeting up for practice.
Which should I go with? The one I play guitar in or the one I play bass in? ((Or, quit both and be a solo artist xD ))

I would say to go with the Indie band too. If they're reliable about getting to practices and whatnot, you can always improve. If you don't practice you can't get better. Also, for the guy who's not so good, offer to give him some lessons or something. Better still, treat him as an equal and offer to jam with him (while in turn teaching him some cool stuff to improve on).

Thanks :'D
We have a few ideas for a name...
One is Blind Faith, seeing as how 3/4 of the band has a visual impairment, I think it fits :B
Another is Edgar Rising, and I don't remember how that came up ><
And a third is any acronym of the band members. Ex. N.A.G.A. (Nick, Alex, Grace, Alex)

It was a very popular rock band in the 60's that included Eric Clapton and Ginger Baker. sweatdrop

Once you answer that it should clear things. Personally, I like guitar more. I also like metal more. It is kinda tuff. sweatdrop probably inde...... I think.....mabye........

I'd say go for the reliable Indie band. Then you'll be able to practice and the other members will get better with time...but don't treat 'em like their not people just because they're not as good as you. Then they probably won't get better 'cause you're putting 'em down all the time. but yeah...I'd say go with the reliable Indie band.
