Kahana stood beside a watering hole, azure eyes gazing down at her reflection. Golden tailfeathers flicked in the grass behind her, ears perked as she bent down for a drink. The snow had melted away from the lower parts of Pride Lands, the only place where you could find it now the mountains, where she had met Astrophel a while back. Blue and gold flakes waved in the air lightly as the lioness looked from side. It was quiet, the only sounds being the wind blowing through the grass and the occasional savvanah animal.

Nasiri laughed and pranced ahead, her eyes dancing as she looked back to Songstress as she trotted along. The Lady of Dark Water was taking Music's Muse for a swim, and Tess was less than enthused. "Come ON Tessa!"
Tess smiled softly, flicking an ear back. "I'm comming Nasiri."
PyreChild she was, and she loved adventure, but leaping into freshly melted snow for a swim did not sound like her forte...
"You'll love it!" Nasiri promised, laughing. Her crystal voice chimed through the air about them, and provoked an answering laugh from Tessa just because her friend was so joyful.

At the sound of other voices, Kahana flicked an ear, tilting her head to one side as she searched for where they came from. As she spotted the blue-tones lionesses, she smiled lightly. She was growing tired of the quiet, believing that some company would make the day a bit more... enjoyable. The gold and blue lioness turned towards them, flicking her ears. Her tail swayed behind her in an even rhythm, brushing against the cold waters occasionally.

Nasiri froze as she caught sight of the lioness ahead, not recognizing her. She flicked an ear back, then forward, and tilted her head. Deciding something silently, she stepped forward with an open smile. "Hail and well-met stranger. I'm Nasiri of Scarlet Shadows, and this is my Companion, Songstress of Temple's Decorations... May we have the pleasure of your name?"
Rounding the corner, Songstress stopped just as suddenly, but bowed, a kind expression on her face. She too greeted the lioness, and wondered where she hailed from. "Good day..."

Kahana blinked at the sound of their titles. She hadn't heard ayone use a formal title before, she believed, and she didn't use one herself.
The lioness nodded her head, ears perked. "Pleasure to meet you both, Songstress, Nasiri." She flicked her tail, golden feathers bristling, "My name is Kahana" The markings on her cheeks irked as she smiled lightly, blinking.
Perhaps some company would be nice. She hadn't spoken to anyone in a long while...

"It is a pleasure to meet you Kahana." Nasiri smiled. "Perhaps you would be interested in joining my dear friend and I for a swim? I do hope you will be more enthusiastic then she, for when she puts her mind to it... Tessa comes dangerously close to being no fun at all..."
Songstress rolled her eyes and made a face at her friend, turning back to Kahana with a smile. "It is indeed nice to meet you Kahana, and you will be doubly welcome if you manage to convince this crazy lioness with me that leaping into freshly melted snow is not exactly what you would call a good idea..."

"Swimming?"
The lioness arched a brow, her gaze turning from Nasiri, to Sonstress. "Quite honestly, I hadn't heard of a lion who in their right mind would swim in open water, melted snow nevertheless..."
Kahana gave a light chuckle shaking her head lightly. "But it doesn't seem that bad, I suppose...." Her voice trailed off and her azure gaze turned to the water, "Though it seems a tad... cold..."

Nasiri rolled her eyes, though her smile was cheerful. "What my friend is forgetting to say is that she has certain powers... For one, Tessa could warm the waters, with a song..."
She gave a teasing brush to Tessa's side.
Songstress colored in her cheeks, then shrugged. "I don't mind swimming, nor warming the waters... I would dearly like company, please say you'll join us Kahana!"
