Who here hasn't at least thought up an original character? Or more than one, actually. I've got a few, although I have no tablet and thus can't get any pictures up until next week.

So I'm wondering, what nation are your OCs from? Are they benders? What gender?

I personally have a female earth nation merchant who can't bend, a fire nation boy who can bend and a water nation boy who can bend, but doesn't make any effort to be good at it.

I have an OC that is currently in a fanfic I'm writing right now. Her name is Aiko, born in the Earth Kingdom. She is not a bender of any sort. Her mother was a simple servant of an affluent family, while her father was a lowly foot soldier of the Fire Nation army.

Wait...there are a lot more OCs in my fanfic:
1. Hiroshi: A merchant and a collector of artifacts who inhabits in the village of Wi Fong. He is the man who supplied Aiko with her longbow. He and his family actually are from the Fire Nation, who moved to the village years ago.
2. Cho: Hiroshi's wife and mother of his two children. She is very kind and had no problem letting Zuko, Iroh, and Aiko stay for the night.
3. Ruri: Hiroshi's eldest child. She helps Aiko clean up and gives her new clothes. She's around the same age as Zuko, and very mature. She respects her father very much
4. Haru: Hiroshi's youngest child. He is energetic and loves his father, though is a bit too curious and free-spirited. He takes almost an immediate liking to Zuko.
5. Yukio: A strong, Earthbending man who has a vendetta against Aiko. He sold his soul to an evil spirit in exchange for his power. He is utterly cruel and heartless. He appears to have a history with Aiko's mother.
6. Matsu: A burly, bald man who happens to be the subordinate of Yukio. He has a the IQ of a leechee nut, and is always caught in the most unfortunate situations.
7. Goro: A tall, muscular man with a long ponytail and a sword. He is the older brother of Yukio but follow's his younger brother's orders. He is level-headed, and has a feeling that Yukio's arrogance will be the death of him.
8. Ai: Aiko's biological mother. She was in her early twenties when she was killed by Yukio. She was a free spirited, adventurous servant who worked for Aiko's current affluent family. She was an aspiring specialist in herbal medicine.
9. Kazuo: Aiko's biological father: He was in his mid twenties when he was killed by Yukio, who had died from his injuries protecting Ai and little Aiko. He was a lowly, foot soldier for the Fire Nation.
10. An: Aiko's childhood friend. She is "amazing," as Aiko puts it. She's an orphan along with her 4 year old sister, Hua. She currently works as a specialist in herbal medicine, having an extensive knowledge of plants in the Earth Kingdom. She is Liang's love interest.
11. Liang: Aiko's childhood friend. He is a brawl-happy kind of guy. He isn't intelligent but has a sense of justice. He owns a sickle, passed down from his grandfather, who is still alive. He dreams of becoming a member of the judicial branch, just like Aiko's foster father. He is An's love interest.
12. Hua: An's little sister, age 4. She is a bit frail, but loves Aiko very much.
13. Ching Xian: Xian is a rich, spoiled son of an aristocrat who became the source of Aiko's unwanted attention in her home city of Nanjing. Despite his self-centeredness, he is a decent fighter when it comes to swords. He is also very devious; resorting to any means to get what he wants.
14. Yoshida Masaru: The foster father of Aiko. He is a member of the judicial branch in Nanjing, therefore he is a very affluent man. He is serious and strongly desires for Aiko to be an aristocrat, despite her objections.
15. Yoshida Hanako: The foster mother of Aiko, known to her servants as "Mistress Hanako." She is a very kind woman and cares for Aiko very much. She expresses impartiality towards all people and is never quick to judge. Aiko's personality is technically a copy of Mistress Hanako's.

They were insipred by Kakurenbo (awesome short film!) about a year ago, and have sense evloved.

Once, two people were exiled from a great galaxy spanning civilation for committing the ulitmate crime, killing another one of their people. They were placed on the Avatar's planet and told to stay there, in human form, until they died, one way or another.
A good while after they had settled down, they were shocked to see a war spring up. Discussing it among themselves, they decided to do what they could to help the poor ordinary people. Their ulitmate decision was to take in war orphans.
Two boys, once they met, became (semi-literally) attached at the hip. One was an outcast firebender, the other a exiled waterbender. They convinced the exiles to let them study their books of forbidden magic. Eventually they came across a spell that they wanted done on them. A forbidden spell of soul and mind fusing. Side effects ran rampant, but one of them, having indenitcal masks fused to their faces, only added to the appeal.
After much protesting, the exiles accepted, and the spell was done. So were born the ageless Kitsune Brothers (named after their fox spirit masks).

...So, yeah.

mine is realy lame but I got one, her name is sakara (i made that name up by the way i didnt know people used that name already) she is about katara age shes a water bender to in in a wa im(not sure how yer but) she can bend fire to but only like when she gets realy mad or somthing (like the avatar and the avatar state) and theres a necklece that she wheres its usealy blue and its shaped kinda like a dimaond but when she bends fire the inside glows red. and shes kinda like a secret ninja person at night she watches over the town (dont ask me how she stays awake all night cuz i dont know) xd

oh yea about my person history, her father was killed at age 5 when a littile fire nation army attacked her town and on the same day her mother disapeared in the middile of them attacking sakara belives her mother is still alive and her life long journey is to find her her mother is a firebender who ran away cuz she couldint stand the fire nation no more and her father is a water bender who left the water tribe cuz after the fire nation attacked there was no one realy left. skaras father had a stash of money hidden some where in the world and only her and her mother new about it and thats what she lives on but she doesnt live in a palace she lives in a littile caban in the woods near a littile town and she owns a fox thingy (i dont realy know what it is) and some kind of horse thing (i dont know what it is either) oh and a hawk the fox thing rides around with her on the horse every where she goes and the hawk just kinda flys around in the area.

P e r s o n a l i t y : Aang is an un-conventional Airbender, unlike he was taught where you are to only defend ones self, and then run. Aang Uses Airbending offensively, whilst intertwining the fighting style of his techers, to dodge. Due to air bending's lack of offensive moves, Aang usually uses small knives which he use the wind to somewhat torpedo them at his oppoent. He is known by many people as the Travelling Wind, due to his travels.

H i s t o r y : From birth, until recently Aang had lived with the Air Nomads, yet he always knew the monk life was not for him. And so began to travel. He took all his personal belongings with him including his unconventional pet Panda. He doesn't use a flying Bison, because he never liked any of them. At a young age, travelling down the mountain with his mentor, Master Reko, Aang met a young Panda, and then snuck it back to the temple. He kept it fed. The monks knew about it, but never said anything, as Aang was a Air Bending Prodigy and so let him have this one thing to himself. Then to their dissappointment Aang up and left his his Panda Pei Pei.
