So my mom dragged me to the nutritionalist the other day. They say it's because they want me to be healthy, but I think that was a lie.... Anyway.

She had all these little rubber foods on the table. And we talked about healthy alternitives to whatever I eat, not skipping meals, and getting regular exercise. Because that's supposed to make me more healthy. Or something.

She was really annoying. And made me feel bad about eating pizza and snackfood.

Have you ever been dragged to the nutritionalist? If so, did you make a change in your eating//exercise habits?
Do you eat healthy foods and get enough vitamins and minerals?
Do you ever skip meals?
Do you exercise regularly?
Are all nutritionists Nazis, or was it for my own good?

Pizza actually can be good for you if its not too greasy and has some olive oil. Mostly bread, with some vegetable/fruit and dairy in it, it makes for a fine group of nutrients.

The fact of the matter is that most nutritionalists can only give general and weak judgement if they haven't spent a while studying you. Each person has a body that needs different nutrients and processes them differently.

In general though, most lisenced foods are bad for you (Oreos(c), Cheetos(c), etc.).

Find what works best. If you get nauseous or feel sick after eating something, avoid eating it.

I was dragged to the nutritionalist when I was about 12. When I was born I had a problem with my right hipbone and at 12 it flared back up. I was already getting big at that age and it was automatically concluded it had to do with the fat. So I got shipped to that damned woman. Well, I don't know why, but I've been there for two years and I only gained a lot of weight. Time in my life where I gained the most weight, actually. It pissed me off. I don't even remember the types of advice she gave me. Of course I grew bigger in the years afterwards (at one point I weighed 280 pounds). I'm growing less heavier now. In the past year and a half 12 kilograms. And I'm not dieting at all. xd I'm curious to see where my body decides it's at a good weight.

Did you ever find out what the real reason for your hip problem was?

No, unfortunately I didn't. Every now and then my right hip will just 'lock', basically. If I move my leg too far to the side it just hurts like hell. The only thing that helps is keeping it straight. I probably have some nerve-damage due to the bone being deformed when I was born. That's what the doctors theorize, anyway.

I've never been dragged to a nutritionalist, but I bet my Mom would want me to go if she looked into it enough. Nope, one morning I woke up and this stranger comes into our house. He looked like the guys you see at the gym all buff and wearing short shorts and a black tank top. I thought it was just a friend of my Dad's, but nope..he was at our house for me. My Mom and I guess my Dad, but my Mom most likely forced it..hired me a trainer. This guy is so rough and he isn't very nice either. I'm trying to work on my self-esteem, but this guy keeps yelling at me. I will lock myself in my room, and this guy actually figured a way to unlock my door. This guy tells me it's for my own good and I need to be fit and healthy. This guy makes me run around, lift weights, and do all these weird exercises. The guy comes on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The during the week since I'm so depress, I eat, and that doesn't make me lose weight. Gah..I hate myself and my life. stare

Do you eat healthy foods and get enough vitamins and minerals? I have been a vegitarian for almost 2 years in an attempt to try and eat better (now I feel too guilty to eat meat, it weird sweatdrop ) All I have managed to do is replaced meat with sweets.

Do you ever skip meals? I use to, it resulted in me getting so sick to the point of vomiting when I did eat (back when I was in 6th grade). So I stopped so I would not get sick.

Do you exercise regularly? I was trying to. I was playin DDR 5 days a week on workout mode blaugh It was fun and I was losing until I stopped during finals week and never hopped back into it...

Are all nutritionists Nazis, or was it for my own good? I think they may try to be okay but I never met one personaly. I would like to meet with one though to see if I am doing the vegitarian thing right...

Shampoo: That's terrible! You need to talk to your parents about this. For one thing, I know for a fact that lifting weights will build muscle but does virtually nothing to burn fat, so their's no point in lifting if your goal is to lose weight. In the mean time, try to buy a new lock for your door and maybe some barricade system. He needs to take a ******** hint. If he's so dedicated to achieving his goal that he's picking your lock to get at you, odds are he's either insane or a sadist.

Yes, I have been to the nutritionist.
It was not fun. I had been to the emergency room because I was sick to my stomach and they kind of snuck it on me and my mom was telling me that it wouldn't hurt. I was drugged up and I didn't care. lol She talked to me. I'm fat. I need to lose weight. This is how to do it. You can sign up for classes and pay me to tell you these things that you already know, but you don't care to do. The sad part was is that she wasn't as big as I was...but she was close... sweatdrop

I try to eat fairly healthy. I try...and probably fail miserably.

I skip meals a lot. I usually only eat 2...maybe three when I'm really hungry.

I seldom exercise. But I do it from time to time...mostly walking and dancing.

I think some nutritionists are actually trying to help...but some of them are food/exercise nazis.

I've been to a nutrionist and I really enjoyed it. I'm considering it as a career for when I am older.

Never been to a nutritionalist, but I dont think that if I did it would make a difference.
I eat the way I eat BECAUSE I like to enjoy what Im eating...
Besides, I gain like 5 pounds for eating a bite of anything anyways, LOL.

Okay, so I'm new here but I figure I have to jump in somewhere. >.>

Weight lifting is actually extremely important when it comes to losing weight. Building muscle makes you burn more calories which means you can eat more without gaining fat. Besides that, you're stronger and feel healthier, and when you do manage to lose the weight, you don't have all that icky loose skin to deal with. It makes you look firm and healthy.

But that guy sounds awfully rude. He shouldn't come into your room. You should smack him with a ten pound weight. Thwack. (Just kidding. >.>)

Nah. Go for one of those larger ones, ideally the 50 pound types if you can manage. Then steal his wallet and deep fry his body to dispose of the evidence. twisted
