Guild Updates -IntroductionWelcome to the Guild Updates thread page. This page is made so that the guild members, and other officers, can keep track of what the staff has been up to concerning the guild and its operations. Posts will be here regurarily to let you know that we're all still alive and still interested in keeping the guild running. You'll be able to see just what is going on, and you will also be able to make suggestions concerning the updates and topics of conversation shown here. -Rules1) Everything that appears in the TOS, without exception, also applies to this page, as well as the entire guild. 2) Please be polite to one another. 3) No flaming. Creative and objective criticism, however, is allowed. More rules to come as I think them up. Hey guys, for some reason this account wasn't banned nor demoted. I'm thinking maybe Niht wither ignored crewmembers in her cleaning, or knew who this was. >_>

Anyway, just wanted to let you know that this is Q and I've been watching you guys from afar. I would've posted sooner, but the guild isn't public so I couldn't, and I really didn't want to send in a join request.
In fact, it's kind of a fluke that I even found out this mule was still a part of this guild.
Regardless, I know a few people had questions for me, but I don't remember what they were, so if you've got any now, I'll answer them here. Or whatever thread Niht thinks is appropriate.

Will there be a list of rps in here? And if so, should we post here when we make one?
It's not really necessary at the moment what with there being not so many active rps, but it'd be nice to see the rps listed by genre and see whether or not they're full, so that you can easily find a rp to join.

We had a list of current roleplays, but people stopped submitting roleplays to put up there. And it got deleted in the clean up process when Niht first bought the guild.
So yah. I'm thinking once things are running smoothly again, there will be a place to find active roleplays in need of extra people.

-Champion Road
So I've been away for the last month. I'm aware of that, even though I'm keeping up with the Champion Road roleplay. It's frustrating to see people actually join the roleplay, and then never post again after a few tries. I'd like for the people to actually pay attention and bring their characters along, otherwise they'll get left behind.
-Active Roleplays List?
It's a good idea.. unfortunately, it's not useful. Sadly enough, the roleplays that HAVE been active, have as of recently become inactive. I've made efforts to message the players in order to bring them back up, but they seem to have better things to do.
I'm seriously considering of closing up roleplays until further notice, that is, until players -actually- tell us they want to play in that roleplay again. I would have it so the roleplay was clean-slated (that meaning to start it over again) but that is something that the roleplay creator is responsable of.
As for the list, however, it's important that people actually keep up with their own roleplays and be up-to-date concerning their players! Otherwise they'll become inactive and so it'll be pointless to post them at all.
-Roll Call
I'm going through Roll Call again for people who haven't reported. It'll bring back more players and, as such, more roleplays. ...Hopefully, anyways.
I've already updated it, for the people I hadn't placed on the list. Sorry for the absence.

PY, GET BACK HERE, DAMMIT! I'm tired of not having people with whom I can actually work. As such, I'm also considering opening places for people who are interested in becoming guild officers. I truly need people to help along and keep the guild up-to-date. Otherwise, people won't have much fun in it.
-Why I've been away?
World of Warcraft, College, and throughout Spring Break I did all -but- to rest. Spring cleaning and all.. Ugh, sucks. But college is back, so that means more work, but it'll give me a chance to get back online and keep an eye on the guildies.

I understand your frustration, Niht, but WoW is very addicting, as you probably know if you play...... I just recently took a break from it myself, since I got a new game I wanted to beat........ But if Py just recently started playing, it could take a while.......

But the good news is that my WoW subscription ends in a few weeks and I'm not renewing it until the summer holidays. So you will have me distraction-free in that interval... unless you count AP tests, finals, standardized testing, the ACT, and SAT 2 subject tests as distractions...
Yeaaaaaaaaaaaah.

I canceled my own WoW account, told everyone on my roleplay site that I was dropping off the face of the planet, then rushed over here to tell you guys the same. Not that it seems to matter. Anyway. As you can see by my tidy list above, I have quite a bit on my plate and the last thing I need is to worry about anything gaia-related. I'm very sorry, Niht. You can fire me if you like; I'll entirely understand. I haven't exactly been as helpful as I promised, nor have I tried to be. But when the summer holidays roll around, and I am free once more, I will return, regardless of whether or not I am still needed around here. So... for now, farewell. =[

-My Leave of Absence
So I've been away for two reasons: College, and WoW. Yes, World of Warcraft is really addictive. It wouldn't be so much so, if it weren't for the fact that I have an actualy RP there, and so it's ALL the more interesting. Sorry for not saying so before, but I'd completely forgotten about Gaia for the moment.
It's Summer now, though, so I should have more than enough time to check up on you guys and play.
-Members
So the only active members right about now are those in Champion Road.. Which are only a few. I wonder where the rest of the people that made the other rps went. It's really all the stranger that they started to play and not continue.
-Inactive RPs
And speaking of which, it's incredibly the rate at which RPs grow inactive. Probably because the players and the creator don't pay enough attention to actually set a captivating story. I don't blame them.
-Officers
So another reason I haven't been working much on the guild is because, well.. I'm alone here. I had counted on Py, but now that she's gone, I really have no choice but to just let this guild run as is. Not that I mind; I like the fact that I have someplace to roleplay. I wish just it was more.. well, active. But without a person to actually help me through all of this, it's really discouraging.
-Activity
I should be around every now and then, but the fact that I'm on WoW as well will make it a little difficult. Once or twice a week should be enough however. Please do PM me if you need anything, or if you have any ideas. I'll be glad to implement them.
