Who: Severus & Liliana
When: the morning after the first lesson (so end of January, while Liliana was still a teen)
what: *points to title* Second potions lesson
where: Potions room Severus set up at headquarters
why: to have another potions lesson & also to RP Liliana confronting Severus about the book having flaws. (hopefully she will learn to try things outside the set laws of the book)
The red furred teen was tired but pleased with herself. After seeing Edward back to the shop & aparating herself & Talagand home she had curled up with her father & fallen almost instantly asleep. Now it was 7 am and the sun was just starting to brighten the day as she aparated inside the realm headquarters. With a hardened smile she straitened her bag and walked into the potions classroom her professor had set up. She placed her homework on his desk as before, then walked to her own desk to set up. Only when she was finished did she raise her eyes, ready to begin.
Liliana waited for the right moment to ask her question, but it burned inside her like a flame & lit her eyes.

 Severus was sitting behind his desk as normal, his expression was that of a scowl, which was common for the potions master. His golden eyes watched as Liliana entered, placed her homework on the edge of his desk, and took a seat behind her own. He didnt offer so much as a second glance towards her homework, he knew it would be well done, but that wouldnt stop him from critisizing it. She had to be pushed to do better, at least in Severus's mind she did.
Frank was perched on the edge of the desk as always, this time he was a bit quieter then normal, and he actually seemed content to sit on the corner and watch the lessons.
Severus looked down at Liliana "Did you do any reviewing?" He asked, voice laced with indifference.

 What was it about his gaze that was so discerning? No matter. "In fact, I did."
The teen fluffed her wings once ace she reached into her bag and pulled out first the 3 failures, then the final perfect Draught of Living Sleep that she had made last night. "I followed the directions for those exactly, checking & double checking my measurements & techniques." Her red head indicated the three sub-par potions coolly. "But on this one, I... deviated." She smiled slightly at the last. Only should Severus ask would she tell why she did other than what was written in the book.
Liliana leveled her green eyes up to look into the professor's yellow ones as he looked down on her with as much courage as she could muster. "You knew the book was wrong, didn't you Professor?" It was not quite an accusation, though the teen was certainly upset about the affair & doing her best to contain it. After all, she was only a juvenile. "Why would it be wrong?" and how am I to know when it is, or what to do about it?
There was frustration, anger, & bit of fear & apprehension peeking through her words despite her careful attempt to be unemotional about it. But Liliana understood how dangerous potions could be. She did not want to brew the wrong potion because her source was incorrect.
The strength of her gaze however did not waver.
