If she was going to get thrown from her new home, it was only natural she would have an urge to go to her original one, didn't it? Sure, the jungle was pretty...closed off. Not many other lions seemed to roam here, and it was full of strange plants and bugs, unpleasent in tempature among other things. But in the end, it was her first home.
The adolescents weaved around the odd trees and spikey plants, frowning. As always, she was dramatic, but the difference this time was it was far from just an act.
It was upsetting to be here after Mother had just casted her away like that...
'Go and find yourself the family you always wanted'? What a ridiculous idea.
Where did you even start looking for something like that?
Another figure came into her sights, and she stopped.

Nishan sniffed and snorted, rolling in the rich dirt of the jungle's earth. The jungle - it was much nicer than the plains with it's unending grass and yellow, hot sun, nothing to eat unless you were quick on your toes and smart. Lots of things to kill you first if you weren't.
Nishan wasn't exactly the sharpest wit in the world.
Which, probably, was reflected in the fact that he was rolling in the dirt, snuffling and huffing, finally coming to a languishing flop on his side with a great heaving sigh. The large lion lay for a long moment, yellow and white coat muted and almost pleasant in the shadow of the forest - it was bright, almost too much so, in the proper sunshine. Finally, he rolled onto his belly and shook out his mane, wiggled about as if contemplating another roll and then
-- he turned his attention lazily up the path, peering through the jungle's undergrowth toward the other lion. His tail lolled absently back and forth, one white-rimmed ear twitching forward faintly.
"'Ullo," he called drowsily, wrinkling his nose up and sneezing.
