I don't remember many names from Liminality, but in one episode, one of the three girls is in a movie theatre or something and a worker helps her out. She and her manage to escape together, I think.
Is it just me or did anyone else think that woman might have been Helba in real life? My best friend and I have a suspicion, because she sounded like her and knew a lot of what was going on. Do you think she could be Helba?

She's definately not BT. As for being Helba... I don't think she'd go so out of her way to hide her existance by using that man(can't... remember... name... alias... thing...) to communicate with the four main characters if she were just going to reveal so much information to that girl in person.
I can see where you're coming from, that woman did seem to know a lot, but I don't think it was Helba. Helba seems to me like the kind of woman who would hide her existance entirely: even in a chance meeting, she wouldn't reveal all that information at once to somoene.
Thats just what I think... If it made any sense.

So your saying she wouldn't be her because Helba is mysterious and wouldn't reveal her true identity?

Djkroberts So your saying she wouldn't be her because Helba is mysterious and wouldn't reveal her true identity? Not necessarily her identity, but rather her information. I don't think that Helba's the kind of person who would give out information so easily like that. Again, sorry for what I said before not making sense... ^^;

I don't really remember that woman because I haven't watched the DVD'S for a while, but I don't think it's Helba at all. You can actually see how Helba looks like in the real world in .hack//SIGN opening (she's the woman dancing).

Actually that is a misconception the audience had. It was supposedly representing the freedom of players while playing the game, they just added that in GIFT to make more players think that way. I doubt that she is Helba, Bith the Black was sent as a medium to help them.

I dunno the first thing about the lady who dances in the opening of SIGN... O_o

Psychadelic I think that lady is BT O_o Well it sounds a lot like her... And there's the 'good girl' conversation. She tells the girl with the glasses she's a nice girl, and that she remembers her of her old self. I remember Sora annoying BT about her being acting like a good girl near the end of hack SIGN Oo Edit: I recently discovered she is not BT <_< Her name is Kaoru Asaba, and she doesn't seem to play as any of the characters of The World we know of.

I think she could have been helba, and the reason she sent Bith the Black to talk to the other characters is because thats when helba was doing a lot of stuff with kite and them so she was to buisy.

It's not Helba. This character doens't seem to play The World, or at least doesn't appear in the series as a player in the game.
