So, what do you ride in? What brand and color saddle? What about the bridle? Do you use a special noseband? Any other pieces of tack you have? Pictures? If you don't have a horse, describe the tack that your favourite lesson horse uses.
I ride my lease mare in a Courbette dressage saddle, which is mostly black, but the seat and knee rolls are in this other type of leather that I can't quite figure out. The leather isn't black, but more like a steel gray. Her bridle is not a from a certain brand (no marks to tell me otherwise) but it's a standard black dressage bridle with white piping and a simple caveson noseband. ^^

I have a beautiful chestnut Pessoa. I used to have a Courbette, but it was hard as a rock, so I bought something softer. I had to sell my horse though, so it has been waiting to be ridden in again. Sigh, someday. I do love the look of martingales on a horse, my horses used to wear them, I love the motion they give.

I don't know much on tack, besides what I use for western riding.

I've only just started breaking my cob, so for right now he's either bareback (best way to start any horse!) or wearing a wintec wide all-purpose that's a little too wide for him (but not for long!). I ride in a rope halter, but plan on buying a sidepull soon, when we start real training.

My friend has all the tack at her house and she usually jus' gives me a english saddle and bridle. So I don't really pay attention to the brand, but it's something that begins with a W o.o sweatdrop ....WINTECH o.o or somethin' like that.

I ride in a chestnut brown Billy Cook Trail saddle, my favorite western saddle ever <3 its very comfy' -nod- I ride in a matching bridle, full cheek snaffle (sometimes a french link) and a set of havannah bown english reins (At the moment)
When I ride english - I was in a chesnut-ish Passoa, also very comfy. With a O-ring snaffle. No martingale (Unless really needed for a short time - like when riding my horse on the trail), in my opinion, its just another one of those quick fixes and I don't like long-term use out of them.

I ride in a black Kincade dressage saddle with no name stirrus and leathers. As well, I have a no name girth and black flash(noseband) bridle. I have three other bridles. One that I have never used (black dressage with white piping) a blood red one with a flash and braiding. And for shows I have a GORGEOUS black flash with silver piping....yeah

Oh, that's so cool, Isilwen|! My mum and I are huge lime green fans too! ^^ I ride dressage, so there isn't a lot of lime choices, but I know Western riders ahev quite a selection to choose from. |Mum and I have done nearly our whole kitchen in shades of lime. If we see a green spatula, it ours! ^^

I ride in a Circle Y roping saddle. It is a deep mahogany brown in color, and has some silver trim. It also has a running pattern on the leather, which I think is leaf-like, but I am not sure. I am going to have to pull it out of my closet and take a closer look, heh ^_^

I have a HUGE obsession with polo wraps. i have black, white, white with the dutch warmblood brand, navy blue, teal, burgandy, red with wrangler on them, sparkly navy blue, sparkly medium blue, orange and purple. It's an obsession I indulge in, espcially as a dressage rider! We have a great store in my city that sells polos in ALL colors. Lime green, blue, red, black, white, pink, purple, orange. ANYTHING! I love that place. heart heart
