The irritablility that had settled into Adelphie's system before her and Delano's departing from Nocturne's Server was still present. She stood with her arms folded over her chest, her weight shifted more on one leg then the other, her left foot tapping impatiently against the ground, and a firm frown set upon her lips. The very appearence of her now stated that she was displeased, though quite honestly she was trying to get herself over it.
Del was stood a few feet away, his hands tucked behind his back, eyes focused on the ground. There had been nothing but silence between he and his new found companion since they logged into the Quest Server. He didn't quite understand what the deal was. Nocturne was usually always surrounded by his fan club, and the only one he ever saw get utterly jealous of any other girl was Tsunami. And Adel, in Delano's opinion, didn't seem like a typical Nocturne Fan-Git. Still, it was none of his business- for now at least, and he simply kept to staying quiet. Perhaps this Phoenix fellow could get Adelphie to lighten up again.

Phoenix gated in shortly, and immediately shifted into a more concerned state once he caught sight of Adelphie and the near-visible mist of annoyance around her. What could have happened in such a relatively short amount of time to sour her mood? On the other hand, he was fairly certain he recognized that familiar stance as belonging to Sanura.
He'd certainly seen it enough--unlike his game counterpart, Derrin was not a terribly punctual person in real life (much to the annoyance of mostly Dian). "I realize that this must be your default pose while waiting for me, Sanura," he commented lightly, letting her know exactly who he really was, "but I'm actually on time today."

The heated look of annoyance vanished almost as quickly as it had formed while the girl was still in her brother's Server. Her arms dropped to her sides, her eyes widened slightly, and her lips parted in a means of retort, though no words were spoken.
While Adel seemed to have mellowed out- to say the least- Del himself was rather confused and perhaps even slightly annoyed. He definitely hadn't expected someone who knew the real Adelphie (he figured Sanura was the real her at least from her reaction), and rather suddenly he felt out of place.
Adelphie remained silent for a few moments, though her mouth had closed and she was simply staring at the newest addition to their numbers. Things seemed to click finally, and she slowly lifted an eyebrow, her hands coming up to rest against her hips. "There's a first time for everything I suppose, Derrin. Though I doubt you'll ever repeat the act."

"You're probably right. Out of The Game, at least." He shrugged as if this didn't matter to him, and then the newly-arrived player gave the girl standing across from him a grin. "I would have told you who I was the first time we met, but I wasn't entirely sure it was you until I saw that familiar pose of impatience."
Waving his hand slightly as if it'd aid in changing the subject, Phoenix abruptly shifted his attention to Delano, extending a hand to the other male present. "Name's Phoenix. And you are?"

The offered hand was simply observed for a long moment before Del reached out and grasped it firmly with his own. "Delano." he replied, offering the other a pleasant smile. "So you're our third, eh? Looks like things could get rather interesting."
"With Phoenix around? Things may get dangerous..." Adel batted her eyes sweetly at the mentioned, then shifted her attention back to Del. "So, we're here, when do we head inside and get this thing over with?"
"Any time to two of you are ready." Del replied, grinning broadly at her. "Like I said, it's easy peasy, low leveled dungeon, cake walk."

He stretched his arms out a bit, once his hand was released, and merely widened his grin in response to Adel's comment. Summoning his sword to his hand, Phoenix brought the dull side to rest across his shoulders as he glanced between Delano and Adelphie. "I'm ready to move whenever."

"Big sword or not, I still think you're a sissy." Adel nodded to these words matter of fact like as she stepped past Phoenix, following Delano who had already begun to make his way inside the dungeon. "A puney sissy at that." she added, smirking at him over her shoulder before picking up her pace a bit to catch up with their current leader.
Del rolled his eyes, as he currently couldn't be seen. His own weapon was braced across his shoulders, his arms up and hooked around it in a means of keeping it in place. The dungeon may be easy enough, but dragging Phoenix along, and knowing that Adel knew him personally, was most likely going to make this trip a rather long one.

"Hey, hey," he protested with a pout, coming up beside her, "unlike you, I've been here a year and managed to get to a decent mid-level. And who's puny?" Phoenix arched a brow at Adelphie and held a hand level with his forehead--just a few inches above her head, but taller none the less. He turned his attention forward again while waiting for her to reply, and addressed their current leader 'lest he be isolated from the conversation. "How long have you been traversing Larmadia, Delano?"

"You're puny!" Adelphie shot in retort, jabbing a finger into Phoenix's rib cage as if it would help confirm her response. "Mid-leveled or not! And are you saying, just because I'm new, and I'm shorter then you, that I'm puny?"
Del couldn't help but smile at the conversation, despite himself. Maybe this Phoenix guy wouldn't be so bad after all. "I've been here about a year and a half." he replied, looking over his shoulder to address the other male of the party. "I've spent most of my time doing exactly what we're doing now though. Kitsune seems to find some sort of amusement in giving me Non-Negotiable Quests."
Despite the fact that conversation had commenced between the boys, Adel continued as if neither had spoken to the other. "Because if you're implying that I'm puny, Derrin, I will pout! And I will pout until you both take it back, apologize, and grovel." it wasn't the best of threats, but the girl was currently working with what she had...which currently wasn't much.

"Yes, that is what I believe I said," he replied to Adelphie first, waving a hand in a slightly dismissive manner, "as for the matter of your pout...I think I've managed to cause you enough grief for me to be immune to it by now." Phoenix doubted this was true, but he figured he'd attempt to make it appear so anyway. Attempting to avoid facing said pout, he merely shifted the whole of his attention back to Delano.
"I've not had the pleasure of dealing with Kitsune myself, oddly enough--just mostly Jester. My sister has, though, so I always have to hear her horror stories," he rolled his eyes, though allowed himself a small smile all the same.

A gasp as if she had been mortally wounded escaped Adelphie's lips and no sooner had this been accomplished did her feet cease in their walking. She allowed both boys to trail off ahead of her, her arms dangled at her sides, her eyes holding a hurt gleam, and a pout slowly taking over the expression she had worn only seconds before.
Delano's steps ceased as well, though he didn't turn around to face the girl. "I don't even want to turn and face the pout that I somehow know is present..."

Phoenix had come to a stop as well and merely sighed. Before turning around, he rolled his eyes and nudged Delano lightly in the side, giving the other male present a slight smile. "Coward." To Adelphie, he merely gave a flat look, attempting to appear as unimpressed with her current expression as he could manage. It was harder than he first expected it would be, and Phoenix took a moment to wonder if she actually took time to practice such a will-shattering expression every once in awhile.
"Aw, come on, Adel," he sighed, tilting his head slightly, "that's nowhere near you best. 's it all you got today?"

"I'm not a coward." Delano replied, snorting softly. "I just know girls and the way they are. The pout is a deadly thing, and if you face it from someone for the first time, you're more likely to fold to it faster then if its someone you've faced it from before. So I figured I'd let you go it alone."
Ignoring Del was easy enough, and keeping herself from smiling was a lot easier then Adelphie had first figured it would be. "Do you really want me to give you my best?" she asked in reply, though the pout had managed to reach even her tone as she continued to look as crushed as possible with the expression. "Because I will..." she added, shifting herself as if she were going to turn and walk the other way.

He shrugged in a non-committal way. "You haven't been keeping up your pouting practice, now have you? I've seen worse than that." Phoenix let his arms drop to his sides with a slight smile, and gave a quiet sigh again. This would be easier if he could stay in the character he created rather than acting like himself. Derrin, in the end, was a pushover for a good pout--especially from Sanura. Phoenix, on the other hand, could care less--he wasn't bothered by such things.
"So you're really leaving..."

"Yes I am." Adelphie replied, sniffling as she headed back the short distance they had come. "And I'm going to tell Nocturne you're being mean to me too." she added, sounding now as if she were honestly about to cry.
"Oi, man....Honestly." Del shook his head slowly, though still refused to turn around for the time being. "We have a Quest to finish, you two...can't you save your romantical fussing for another time?"
