((Note: when Roko's speech is black she is talking normally, when her speech is coloured it means one of her personalities is talking. Orange is the kinder half, purple is the more negative side. ))

She had been heading somewhere with great determination but now for some reason the poor little Goddess couldn't remember where! She had pondered for well over a day now, skimming the ground as she tried to make up her mind.

Perhaps to the north, where the mountains loomed, or maybe south to the deserts. Either way she could not remember and somehow she had found herself in a land that she had never been before, which was hardly surprising.

The Mistweaver lands were well hidden and secret and it was by pure luck that the confused and rather little Goddess skimmed it's borders. Now as she came to a soft landing amongst the trees, she paused to catch her breath.

"I knewed it! I knewed you'd get us lost!" The harsh side of her personality blurted, the words cold and angry spat from her throat like needles.

"Roko never meaned it, she never!" She answered herself almost tearfully, and as if this were enough of an apology her two personalities mingled as one.

Her mismatched eyes glinted and she turned to glance at her back where Nyoka had curled himself around her middle. He was squeezing her stomach too hard!

"We've stopped flying now Mr. Scales." The cub said almost irritably. The snake blinked his slitted eyes and released his grip, falling to the ground and sliding off amongst the undergrowth. How he had ended up the Goddess' familiar was anyone's guess, but he hated flying and he needed to be alone.

The young lioness could swear she heard something. she had been relaxed, lying against a tree trying to keep away from the heat, but she heard something. Quickly, the gray lion picked herself up, blue eyes looking around. It wa sonly a flutte rof moment she saw, for just a second, through the trees.

She was to move that way, when somethingg long and scaly moved this way. She squeaked in suprise, and pulled away. She'd never really seen a snake up close, there weren't that many around here; but she'd heard of them.

She eyes the scaly creature, trying to keep away, but still curious. "Are you a snake? " Maybe this was the movement she'd seen!

Nyoka flinched and pulled back his head, his green body pulled into the traditionl threatening 'S' shape. If she stepped closer he would strike, he had never been fond of lions and even the Goddess was beginning to wear him down. He was in no mood to chat.

His tongue flicked and he hissed, his throat swelling angrily. "Are you a lion?" He spat viciously and moved to circle around her as fast as he could.

Roko's ears perked up at the sound of a voice and as she heard Nyoka speak she lowered herself and crawled after him. She appeared a moment later, crawling on her belly with rainbow wings tucked against her sides.

"Mr Scales?" Her eyes raised to catch the sight of a grey female and her face brightened. "Oh! A silver kitty!" She giggled and pressed a paw to her mouth as if to silence her childish laughter.

She sat down, waching the snake circule her, twiching her tail tip from one side to another. "You have pretty fur! " Obviously, she didn't know the difference between scales and fur. "And you're fast. " Well, it looked fast whenever something without legs moved; it was like floating. Like Lim said! "Yeah. " She confirmed her being a lion, oblivious to the snake trying to seem threatning.

But then the colors showed up again, and she looked at the goddess. Silver kitty? She looked down at herself, then thought this must be her. "Hi! " She grinned at the little goddess, and it actually took a moment to realise this was a goddess; she was used to the big ones.

Rokopelli gave a small flick of her wings and bounced forwards, her tail swishing high up above her. For a moment she seemed undecided, her eyes flicking between Nyoka and this new one. In the end she decided that the silver kitty would be far more fun than grumpy old Nyoka.

"Silly Mr. Scales!" Roko giggled, "He has mean teeths but he mad cos his poision doesn't hurt us." She seemed extremely happy about this fact despite being bitten by the serpent numerous times.

Nyoka paused as the lioness complimented him, his vain streak halting his progress. He gave a small puff of gratitude and moved back into the sunlight.

"I don't have fur." He corrected, "fur is awful."

"Mr. Scales is jealous of furs." Rokopelli interrupted, "he jealous of the precious too." She added as an afterthought, turning her strange gaze back to the mistweaver. "Do yous...live here?"

wooga Paes
"oh. " She said, looking at the goddess then turning her attention back to the snake. "So whats that? " She asked, looking at his scales. "Its shinier than fur. "

She looked at the goddess again and noddded, it might be funny how she was more suprised by a snake than a god. "Ya! .. Whats the precious? " She asked, laying down again. "You're a goddess? " She was quite sure but.. she'd never seen such a little goddess.

Kimaria
Nyoka curled himself up tight, enjoying the sun as it began to warm his cold blood. For a moment he seemed frozen and then carefully he turned his arrow-shaped head towards the grey lioness.

"Scalesss are sssmoother, ssshiner and better than fur." He really had no idea how to answer her question because he couldn't really say what scales were, except that they were better than itchy, horrid fur.

Roko moved forwards, raising her head to sniff lightly, then slowly she reared back on her hind legs, unfolded her wings and bore out each forepaw. On each was curled a golden snake, one with green eyes and the other red. They were made of gold, a strange and foreign material to lions. For a moment a glimmer of magic ran along the outside of their fake bodies almost making them seem alive.

Roko was new to her powers and unpractised after centuries of being trapped so her control over them was limited. In fact she hardly ever used them in fear that her mother would return to banish her again.

"The precious!" Rokopelli announced. "We love the precious!" Then slowly she tilted her head and her ears pinned forwards.

"A what?" She had heard the word Goddess before but... "We are Rokopelli...we think." She was pretty sure that was her name but one could never be too sure!

wooga Paes
"Really? " She looked at the snake in the sun. Scales seemed cool. "Can I touch one? " Well, she knew well enugh not to be rude and just throw her paw at the snake. Swaii had at least taught her manners at this rate.

Then she looked at the goddess as she displayed her snakes so proudly. "Oooh! Those are pretty! Like momo's ne... lace. " She girnned, blinking in suprise as they glimmered. Momo's nelace didn't do that!

"Your name is Rokopelli? I'm Kimaji! " She said contently; the gray lioness liked her name.

Kimaria
The snake hissed and uncurled his body, his golden-dipped face looking frightfully menacing. For a moment it seemed like he might strike and then he seemed to think better of it. With a low hiss he raised his head and spat.

"No."

And with that said he moved away towards the trees, raising half his body to begin a steady, smooth climb up the trunk. He moved with a surprising grace, up and up into the canopy. Then slowly he extended his body along one sunny branch and gazed down at the two lionesses.

"Kii!" The little Goddess squealed, flapping her mosaic-rainbow wings excitedly. "Kii-maa-jii!" She seemed to like this name too, letting it be repeated again and again as if imprinting it in her mind.

Then suddenly her purple eye seemed to glow and her voice changed slightly, it's tone taking on a hard edge.

"Silver one." She blinked slowly, "Do you know the mighty pinnacle of feathers?" It seemed she had remembered where she had been heading. Almost.

wooga Paes
"Ok. " She grinned, not objecting. She wached him climb with amazement; she couldn't climb, and she had paws! he kept moving in the sun. "You like sun? "

But then the goddess changed, and it was odd, as Kimaji had never met someone with a split personality before. "Pinnacle of feathers..? " She swished her tail, curling it around her paws. "Umm.. whats it like? "

Kimaria
Apparently Nyoka had the hump now and he simply remained silent, staring at the lioness as if she were stupid. Did she like to ask questions that were completely pointless? He flexed his body, turned his head away and closed his eyes. He would sleep until the Godling had figured out where she was supposed to be.

As soon as Pelli had spoken the glow had dimmed from her purple eye to return to normal. For a moment the Goddess looked lost and then shook her head.

"What?" She seemed to have not remembered anything about what she had just mentioned. "Kii-Maa-Jiii! We want to play now~" She looked about then then skipped over to a fallen branch. It was small, rotten and very light, just light enough to use.

She focused her eyes upon it and again they glowed, this time together. Slowly the stick rose a little of the ground, a couple of centimeters atleast. Then she turned her head and the stick mover too, floating above the grass as if it had a life of it's own.

Rokopelli giggled, lost her concentration and the stick fell to the ground. Dead.

She shrugged as the snake looked away, then wached the goddess. What? But.. she had askwed something. "Play? " She grinned, getting up. She liked to play! The goddess turned around, and she almost expected tag, but then she lifted the stick.

The lionness gasped quietly, looking at the floating stick as it moved. "I.. I didn't know Roko could do that. " She blinked, looking at the stick doumbfounded. What.. what was it doing?

Roko giggled somewhat insanely, rolling back on her haunches and pressing her paws to her mouth. She shouldn't laugh so loudly! Mama might hear!

"Mama isn't here anymore."

"She isn't?"

"No! Mama is gone. We can be free!"

For a moment she paused in the conversation with herself and with a small squeak she turned her head to the 'silver kitty'. Then with another small nod she folded her wings tightly to her body and glanced back at the stick.

"Kii-maa-jii want to play" She beamed, "We can do lots of things if we put our mind to it." She nodded briskly. "We can speak without words. We can move things without touch. We very good!"

"No...we're very bad."

"No we're not!"

"Yes we are."

She fell silent again and slumped her head slightly, her darker side was right. They had been bad, but that was in the past. They had learnt from their mistakes now and they wouldn't use their powers foolishly again. But did that mean they couldn't be used for play...? Of course not.

With a small twitch of her ears she turned back to the stick and made it float again. It hovered a little and then began to skim forwards towards Kimaji. "Catch, catch!" Roko squealed, using her mind to send the stick flying through the air.
