The start was just for fun and later became more Tymiko the Pirate Girl heart xd Deth: O.o *attempts to leave, noticing Sweet Heart's antics* I hate when he gets like this...Julian: *sigh* It can only mean one thing...hurry, get going, Deth! He's coming...stupid love poetry...Sweet Heart: And how lovely the fregrance of your wind blows! *smiles brightly, surprised as he spots Deth getting ready to take off* Deth! What a plesant surprise! Julian, better gather your flowers for the ladies! They're sure to come flocking.
*drags Deth aside* I've been meaning to have a talk with you... *malicious smirk*Deth: Oh dear... *becomes miserable* Lady Aria Starstone Mercutio: -Stomps over- And about time! Bad enough when both me AND Sunny had crushes on you, but now I KNOW we've told you about Sunny, and since I've found my mate I'm happy! Tymiko the Pirate Girl Sweet Heart: Ah yes...thank havens Broken Heart isn't here...Deth: Indeed... *looks anxious*Sweet Heart: *notices and grins* You sneaky God, you hardly stuck around for your own holiday last year. Sunfire and I searched the whole forest for you! And she had a herd to take care of.Deth: *head droops, looking guilty and eager to disappear* Ah...yes, that...I, uh...don't know what came over me then...Sweet Heart: *shakes his head* Who knows what she must think of you now.Deth: Rather...Sweet Heart: Flower boy? Why don't you go find out what Sunfire's favorite flower is? I assumed you would know all the lovely lady ponies' favorite flowers by now. I know I would.Julian: Cut it out! I'm not a flower boy! And I don't have to run your errands! *watches miserable Deth, feeling sorry for the god* But I guess if it's for Deth...Deth: *looks up hesitantly* No, It's not necessary, Julian...really...Sweet Heart: *butts Julian with his horn* Go! At greatest speed, blossom-speaker! Thsi matter is of the utmost urgency!Deth: Actually, I really don't mind if Sun - Julian: Oww! Alright, I'm going, I'm going! *gallops away to find Sun, glaring back at Sweet Heart* And don't call me Blossom Speaker ever again! It's not my fault my breath smells like flowers!!!Sweet Heart: Perfect. *grins evily* We have our plan. Flowers will do nicely, I think...this will be a Valentines' to remember...Deth: *jumps back, startled, and looks frightened* What?! What did you say?Sweet: heart Why, V-day of course, my good stallion. Didn't you know? twisted Deth: *rams his head against a nearby rock repeatedly* Stupid...stupid...mortal time.... >_< Tymiko the Pirate Girl Deth: *glances at Mercutio, avoiding his gaze* Uh...well...Sweet Heart: *smiles* Ah, Mercutio! Planned something special for your mate, I hope?
*whispers cheerfully* After all, your name originates from the romantic love story of Romeo and Juliet, does it not? You must know a thing or two about love!
Harper, dear, if there's anything I may help you with, don't hesitate to ask! I'm great with festivities and events and whatnot.
And with the aid of that spiteful 'Posie-Prancer' *referring to Julian* and this miserable, childish god, I'm pretty sure I can decorate the place accordingly.

Lady Aria Starstone ((*giggles softly* Awww ok later! And I'll see that Mer helps out)) Mercutio: -Laughs softly- It does indeed appear in that play, though it is an older name then that. And I don't know, it depends on Slanni. I miss him. -Turns his head to Deth, and stomps his foot- You. My first friend. YOU are going to listen to us -leans to whisper JUST to Deth- And if Sweetheart gets over board, I'll step in -straightens- and we are going to GET you and SunFire hooked up finally, and YOU are gonna stop running from her.SunFireDemon Near where the the Sunblaze herd stayed, Sunny laid out resting in the sun. A cool breeze every now and agian made her shudder. Dezmeer yawned and went out to look for his love and adopted child. Slanni trotted out from the protective shelter of the bush and looked around, "Starlight! Hurry up if you want to see kyou other father." "Comming!" adn the two left to go find Mercutio. The few other parts of the herd were off with their onw families aswell, Dante with Darksun adn they were most likely with Maleficent. Sophia had taken her daughter for a walk. Kisa and Hitori often stayedo ut on their own. Pyrus and Naoto had gone to look for breakfast. Tymiko the Pirate Girl Sweet Heart: Ah...well, what's in a name? *quotes and snickers* Just kidding...I know nothing of the history of names. I just verse myself in love plays. Like Cyrano! Ah, what a lovely story...and a Midsummer Ni -Deth: Sweet Heart, give it a rest. We don't need to hear your babble. It's getting on my nerves, and I already have a headache as it is.
*shies away from Mercutio* Is that a threat? My my, aren't we getting bold? I thought us gods were supposed to be the one putting you all in your place.))Julian galloped as fast as he could to the Sunblaze herd, going as fast as his hooves would take him. Who knew when Deth would leave? Who knew when he would come back? One could never tell - but what meant a few minutes for a god often meant months to the mortal ponies. The last time Julian had even heard that Deth had been around was in October. Even then, he hadn't been able to see him.
Every time he comes back, he just keeps looking more and more miserable, the flower stallion thought. Perhaps his troubles as a god are weighing him down. Or maybe...just maybe Sweet's right...maybe he's lonely. SunFireDemon Pyrus looked up to see the flower pony gallop by. Blinking he looked to the other male angel pony, "Where do you think he's in such a hurry to?" Tymiko the Pirate Girl "Sunfire? Sunfire!" Julian called frantically, pausing to catch his breath. He couldn't see her anywhere...yet she never strayed far from her herd. Well...according to Sweet Heart, she did, but only for Deth.
"Sunfire..." he huffed weakly. He glanced around, looking for someone - anyone - who might have been able to help him find her. Lady Aria Starstone ((-waves at all)) Mercutio: Yeah and if a Goddess of LOVE where here, SHE'D be doing this, but since she's not, its me and Sweet Heart's job! As for a threat... No. Its a warning, that its about time you two stopped PUSSYFOOTING AROUND. It's been over a YEAR.

SunFireDemon The tiger angel tilted his head, "She's over by the bush we all sleep under. Last I saw she was sleeping. Why are you in such a hurry to find Sunny?" Tymiko the Pirate Girl Julian, startled, looked up abruptly. "Oh! Thanks..." Swerving to glance at the bush indicated, he began to make his way toward it, only to stop and reply sheepishly, "I...uh...I needed to ask her what her favorite flower is...that's all."
He supposed it must have sounded a silly explaination for what had seemed so urgent, but the truth was Julian was afraid to tell anyone about Deth. For one, if he spoke the god's name, Deth would know. For another, Deth didn't normally like to make his presance too known when he came to visit. He claimed it either frightened most ponies or made them come flocking to see him, sometimes as a request to speak to the dead, as was his power.
Julian knew this quite well, because he had met Deth his first time when he had requested for his rabbit friend to speak with his recently departed father. But that had been over a year ago. Julian doubted there would be too many who recognized Deth as who or what he was. Still, he couldn't take chances.
I wonder if it's a good idea to tell Sunfire, he thought, trotting hesitantly toward the bush. She deserves to know he's here...but Deth will know I told... "Sunfire?" the young stallion whispered. "Are you...uh, are you busy?" Since the angel had described it as 'the bush they all slept under', he couldn't be sure whether the elder was sleeping or not. SunFireDemon A ear flicked asn she lifted her head with a yawn, "Oh Julian. I't s you. No, I'm not busy. just relaxing." she was laid out on a braod leaf. Tymiko the Pirate Girl ((Wow really? eek I can't imagine being away from Gaia that long...Deth: stare Goddess of Love? What the heck are you talking about, Mercutio? *shakes his head* You two are the closest thing. *sighs* Unfortunately...and that also means you're a lot easier to avoid. *speads his leathery dark wings*Sweet Heart: *suddenly become serious and stomps on one of Deth's wings, pinning him down on one side* He's right you know, you black-hearted idiot. You're like a child. Nearly as terrible as Broken Heart.Deth: OOF! *is brought down to his knees as he's pinned*Sweet Heart: *sweetly* Mercutio? Would you kindly lend me a hoof? *nods toward Deth's other wing* We need to keep him here at least until Julian comes back...)) Tymiko the Pirate Girl Julian let out a sigh of relief, his fregrant breath scenting the air with lillies and jasmine. "Oh, good. Uh, I was wondering I could...If I could ask you a question." He paused again, realizing what he was about to say was going to sound really awkward coming from him.
"Um...I uh...what sort of...flowers do you like best?" he finished quickly, his face turning as deeply crimson as a rose. "I-it's not what you think, honest... I-I mean, Sweet Heart, he...he's acting like a jerk," Julian added, trying to explain, though realizing he was probably only confusing Sunfire.
"He's, uh...trying to decide what flowers to put up for Valentine's Day. He wanted me to ask all the girl's their favorite flowers, I guess, since appearently I'm the 'flower boy'..." He glared irritably into the distance, as if thinking of the obnoxious stallion who had given him the nickname. "Though if you're busy, I won't trouble you. Not all girls like flowers, I know." He offered a sheepish smile. Lady Aria Starstone Mercutio: -Considers, then carefully sets a hoof where it would hold Deth with minimal pressure- Deth. You need to get over this. There are more Gods and Goddesses then you know, and I'm sure there is one that over sees love. I wish he or she were here right now. YOU need to stop acting like admitting your feelings would kill you. SunFireDemon With a heart filled laugh, "I see. Hmm flowers....I have to say I like the spider lillies. Ya know the red ones . They are so pretty. Though others may see them as plain."

Tymiko the Pirate Girl ((Ah. Well, I hope you feel better soon! ^^ Glad you're back on Gaia!))Hmm...that's interesting...I thought maybe sunflowers, marigolds...indian paintbrushes, or tiger lilies...poppies, red fushias or perhaps fire orchids, The young stallion pondered, smiling at her choice of spider lillies.
Well, I'm sure I can make a lovely boquet with spider lillies nonetheless. Maybe I can sneak in a rose, too....a sunset one, or perhaps just plain red...
"Spider lillies? Those are beautiful...I know just the ones..." he murmured distractedly, voice fading, smiling at the memory of those in the garden he tended so carefully.
"Mmm...some may think they're plain...but really, I've spoken with them, and it's the plainest flowers that have the most interesting personalities. Like daisies, for instance - those are my personal favorite." He laughed a little. "You might think I'm crazy, but the spider lillies remind me a lot of you, in fact."
What are you doing, you flower-freak?! He paniced, suddenly aware of what he was saying. Being such a day dreamer, he had hardly realized his own words until they had escaped his mouth. You're beginning to sound like Sweet Heart with his love poetry and atrocious metaphors...even if the flowers really do speak...you can't tell other ponies that! They already think you're lazy, you want them to think you're crazy too?
Shaking his head to be rid of his dazed disposition, Julian's silvery mane and tail swished, perfuming the air with yet more flower fragrances. "Uh, anyway, thanks. Sorry to bother you - that's all. Oh, and if you see any other girls who might be interested in flowers, could you tell me, please?"
Almost instantly, he began to blush again. "I mean - that's not what I meant to say! I meant you can tell either Sweet Heart or me. It's only for Valentines' day...honest!" With a guilty grin, he turned to go, muttering a quick, 'Bye!' and racing back to the love stallion.((*struggles to free himself* This is totally uncalled for! This is morally wrong!Uh huh. What would you know about morally wrong, Deth? *raises a brow* You've got the look of a demon about you. That doesn't mean I'm a demon, you idiot! Get a hold of yourself! This 'springtime and love' attitude is making me sick and making you crazy! It's still winter! At least...I believe so... *looks around, remembering the last time he had arrived it was fall* Seasons change so quickly in the mortal world...
And I know a good many more than you, Mercutio. But if the Goddess were to know of me, I'm certain she'd have better sense than to interfere. Unlike you two. *casts a sour look up at them* Even we have rules as to how we can influence others. *stomps a clove hoof* Now let me up!Ah ah ah...not until you promise you're going to see Sunfire and not run away. Listen to Mercutio.*grumbles in a low voice* Well, I certainly wouldn't want her seeing me like this...and you have no idea, Mercutio...)) SunFireDemon She smiled sweetly, "I'll be sure to tell you." Watching him leave, "Why do I feel there is more to it?" she sighed then laid back down enjoying the sun's warmth.Pyrus nodded to Julian as he trotted by. Lady Aria Starstone ((-Fluffs Harper-)) Mercutio sighs. "Deth, I hid my strong crush on you because I knew you'd never see it, and I was right. If I had told you, maybe things would be different. I don't know. But NOT telling some one, avoiding it, only causes more unhappiness in the long run."Tymiko the Pirate Girl Julian skidded to a halt as he noticed Pyrus nod to him. "Hey!" He called. "Thanks for the tip! Uh...I wonder..." Regarding the angel pony closely, he inquired, "Would you like to help me with something? Nothing major, just carrying around a few flowers. I need to arrange them." SunFireDemon Puyrus and Naoto looked at each other, "I'll help." Naoto nodded, "I can lend a hoof aswell." Tymiko the Pirate Girl ((The massive, dark stallion groans, as if in agony. "Why must you torment me so?! Is it not enough being the god of such a dreary aspect of mortals? I cannot play my role as the God of Samheim (sp?) if I am to be emotional!"
"Of course I was aware, Mercutio! But I could do nothing. I felt it was best you found love with someone other than me. But you as mere ponies cannot understand the immense pressure we gods are put under! Without the goddess of Autumn, there would be no fall! No pumpkins! Without the Lord of the forest, no trees or shelters!"
"We aren't allowed to love or hate. Aren't allowed to feel. We are condemned to an eternal life of servitude. And for what? All of you!"
*nibbles miserably at the pumpkin treat Harper offers him, hardly able to budge as he is pinned on the floor with the weight to two ponies*Sweet Heart rolled his eyes boredly. "Yeah, yeah. Quite feeling so sorry for yourself then. Ever thought of Sunfire's feelings."
*cheerfully takes an extra sugary treat, imagining they taste like his favorite heart-shaped pink-and-red-sprinkled cookies*Deth looked away, resting his weary head on his legs. "She means nothing to me.""How could you say that?" The pink stallion roared, suddenly outraged. "She waited her whole life. She's not going to 'move on' like Mercutio, you soulless monster! She loves you!"Deth's ear twitched, but he made no other reaction. "Let her say so, then. Let everyone say so. I don't believe it. She will move on. All mortals do, in time, if they ever want to truely love. What is that word, anyway? It's so fickle between you mortals..." *grumbles uncomprehendably*"Well then...you'll just have to find out, then, won't you, Deth? V-day is all about the feeling. So we'll just have to have you stick around and find out." His voice was dangerously low, but sickeningly sweet.)) Lady Aria Starstone Mercutio rolls his eyes. "Who ever told you THAT pile of steaming dung? Its such bull! As long as you DO THE JOB, you have time for yourselfs! Look at the legendary gods! THEY all have time! Zeus, Ares, Apollo... All of the classical gods had mortal lovers!" Tymiko the Pirate Girl Deth: The once mighty god glared at his cloven hooves, determined not to make eye-contact. "Huh. Easy enough to say. 'Doing the job' is exactly the problem. It's a full-time thing. I can't take time off just to allow myself to have feelings! Which is why I should have never listened to Julian and met you all in the first place!" He thrashed, struggling again under the weight. "I should have never come here, and I wouldn't had I known you'd be like this! Ungrateful!"
Eventually, he gave up his struggle, muttering, "Those gods are all human gods. They all act as humans do - they have no self respect and wield their power over their heads like a bunch of spoiled children who always get their way." His voice was bitter and strange. "And yet even they denied themselves true feeling. How many of them cared when their mortal lovers passed away? They only wanted the pleasure, not the pain and sorrow that comes with it. For that, they could never feel true love."
"Those who have claimed it, such as Cupid and Psyche...Iphigeneia and Pan...their stories always end in tragedy. No true love could come of mortal and god."

Lady Aria Starstone Mercutio sighs in irritation. "Try talking to other immortals around here!" He stamps a back hoove. "And I'm NOT ungrateful. Its my gratitude for your friendship that is why I am insisting YOU learn to experience love! Find a few Angels and/or demons to help you, its WHY lesser immortals exist, you stubborn god!" Tymiko the Pirate Girl As Julian ran to Sweet Heart, he passed him the boquet of flowers that Sunfire might have liked, including the spider lillies she had mentioned. Then, the flower pony collapsed, shocked at his narrow escape from Infi. It had been a long time since he had last spoken to her. Julian feared she might hate him for it.Sweet Heart, gracefully taking the boquet in his mouth, raised a brow at the stallion's peculiar behavior. Julian was almost never in a hurry to do anything, unless it involved Sweet Heart's provoking/bullying or avoidance of females.
Guessing at his friend's delima, he dropped a single flower from the boquet at Julian's hooves. "Go 'ack an' give that to 'er," he instructed seriously, his teeth clenched around the delicate flower stems, "Or I'll 'ersonally make sure you 'ever 'isit your 'recious garden again."Nothing could describe the stallion's horrified expression as the love elder threatened him. Leave it to Sweet Heart to know I ran from a girl... he thought grumpily to himself. And of course only he would make me go back and make it up to her...but how can I face any girls so close to Valentine's Day?
"No fair, Sweet! How come you can't threaten Deth like that? He's worse than I am!" Julian complained. "Besides, what do I say to her?"Sweet Heart's ruby eyes focused intensely on Julian's green ones. "'ecause he's a god, and you're not. Now get your pony 'utt over there before I have to 'ake you!" He tossed his shimmering, wild pink mane impatiently. "I don't 'ave time for love lessons righ' now. I 'ave some 'usiness to atten' to. Jus' recite some poetry with that fregrant flower breth o' yours an' you'll be fine."
With that, the love stallion galloped off in search of Sunfire, the firey-colored boquet in his mouth blurring as he accelerated, so it seemed as if he were carrying a torch instead of flowers.Standing there looking distraught, Julian eventually knelt and retrieved the single flower Sweet Heart had instructed him to carry back. He knew he would carry out his threas if given reasonOf all the lovely blossoms he had gathered to put into the boquet, the flower that had dropped just happened to be a single red rose. He began to suspect the love elder had intentionally dropped it.
That pony is truly evil, he thought irrtably as he almost dejectedly started back the way he had come from his flowers. Well, I know what he plans to do about me...but what about Deth? Surly he doesn't expect Deth to give those flowers to Sunfire...he'd never have the guts, or the will, not in his current state...Sweet's definately plotting something... Tymiko the Pirate Girl SunFireDemon Sunny laid down to rest yawning. Soon, Sweet Heart slowed to a halt as he spotted Sunfire, smiling silently to himself, his mouth still full of the miniature blossoms. It consisted of a profusion of marigolds, indian paintbrushes, and red fushias, combined with a dazzling spray of fire orchids and spider lillies and accented by a few larger sunflowers, tiger lilies, and poppies. Wanting to add to the color and exotic variety, Julian had even added a majestic array of firey roses, from the deep crimson, to the bright scarlet, to the sunset gold and orange, and finally the brilliant sunshine yellows.
Perhaps that flower boy really does know a thing or two about how to court a female, Sweet thought musingly as he eyed the boquet he carried to Sunny. Then again, he probably just loves flowers and much as any girl, so he wouldn't have any trouble picking them out; romantic or not.
"Hello there, Sunfire," Sweet Heart greeted the fellow elder after gently laying the flowers at her hooves. "Care to have a little chat? I know you're busy, and I won't disturb you if you are, but I've been meaning to ask you something." He offered her a charming smile, and for an instant, a glint of what might have been mischeif shone in his eye. "I should warn you that the topic I would like to speak of is probably not what you might think."SunFireDemon Her eyes widened at the flowers. "Oh my. Are those for me?" Getting up from where sehe laid she moved ot inspect them better, "So lovely. So this is what Julian was up to." Looking up to Sweet Heart, "Of course we can talk. We havnet' spoken since......." she thought back to that night chasing after Deth, "We were in the woods. How are you?"

Tymiko the Pirate Girl
“Certainly,” Sweet answered with an elegant dip of his head. “Yes, he did do a rather good job of it I think…but not a single one, or even all of them combined could measure up to your beauty. That’s why I’ve come to inquire upon a certain matter that concerns you.” Tilting his head innocently, he grinned as her sentence faded. Both of them knew what she had been about to say. It did not escape him that she chose not to dwell on the subject. So…perhaps she had been sore about Deth’s disappearence after all. Not that Sweet would ever expect the proud elder to admit it.
“Indeed. It has been a while. I’m fine, but…I wonder…” He smirked, slowly beginning to circle the lovely mare, “how you have been doing. We never did find Deth, did we?” Though he was aware Sunfire had probably hoped to overlook the god’s behavior the previous October, mentioning Deth was vitally crucial in order for Sweet Heart’s plan to work. After all, he knew Deth would never neglect to hear his name being called. With luck, the pony god would recognize Sweet’s voice and come to investigate.
Which was why the love elder needed to proceed as quick as possible with his strategy. “Sunfire…he’s never really been good to you, has he? I mean, the first time you met, he was asking you for directions…or so I heard.” He looked away innocently, so as not to let her see the cunning written all over his patterned face. “Deth’s so childish…and emotionless. Last October, didn’t he return to his forest from whence he came? What makes you think he’s ever coming back? Maybe he’s had enough of all us mortal ponies. Perhaps he’s had enough of you.”
Sweet shook his head in mock sorrow. “I know it might be tought to accept, but…I’ve tried to convince him time and time again to admit his feelings to you. And worse than refusing, he denies he has any feelings at all!” Somehow, he was very good at his acting. Only, it was getting increasingly difficult not to snicker. Particularly when out of the corner of his eye, he had just seen a careless, cloven, silver hoof step out into the open, and then withdraw. It had been just out of Sunfire’s range of vision, but Sweet, who had just completed his circle around her, had barely managed to catch it. After all, it wasn’t easy to spot a god, especially one who did not want to be spotted. But Sweet Heart knew that emotions could make even a diety slip up, and he had no doubt whatsoever that Deth had feelings, despite what he said.
“I think he rather likes to lord his power over us, not to be succumbed to settling down and living the life of a mortal. No…not Deth. He’s far too good for that. I mean, why do you suppose he never acknowledged Mercutio’s feelings for him?” The pink stallion frowned and sighed. “In truth, Sunfire, I fear he can’t stand the sight of your loveliness. He is the darkness that shrinks back from your light. But I…I embrace the warmth of your fire, the beautiful flame who stands proud and strong, despite those who would try and bring her down. I truly admire that in a mare. You lead a herd – what herd does Deth lead? He only expects everyone to follow and worship him because he can talk to departed souls! Not that that isn’t useful, but…is it really enough to have us sing his praises for deeds so long ago past? I haven’t heard of any help he’s given mortals since that incident when Julian was a foal.”
He turned his glittering ruby eyes to Sunfire, adoring and sympathetic. “In the end, Sun, what will you get? He will live on forever as the other immortals do. We, as mere mortals, will live a life and die. But isn’t it best we make the most of our lives? In that, I think ours, with the little time we have, can be worth significantly more than others whose lives last an eternity. That is – with one thing we have that emotionless, cold-hearted beings like Deth can’t. We can love.”
Sweet Heart settled now on the cool soil before Sunfire, laying casually and yet still somehow looking chivalrous. His noble head was held high in confidence, though there was all the sweetness and sensitivity in his expression as a love-struck foal. “Sunfire…I was wondering if perhaps you’d consider going out with me. At least for a time. It must be so hard for you to watch your herd alone, and while you manage extraordinary well with your brilliant blazing spirit, would it not be twice as bright with you and me side by side? I may not have any gifts like Julian or Deth, nor may I be a god, but at least I know how to love. You need never be lonely again, waiting for your dear in the freezing frost of winter. Won’t you please consider?” His voice trembled with all the sincerity in his heart. Only…one thing kept him from actually personally feeling that sincerity.
Since the moment Sweet Heart had first seen Deth and Sunfire together, he knew they were meant to be. He had a certain feeling with couples, and in his mind, those two were already one soul. Thus, he could never truly believe he could claim Sunfire for his own, no matter what she said or thought of him. Still, he had to perform his act as convincingly as possible, for as talented as he was, Sweet Heart was only a mortal trying to convince a god.
Had Deth been in a right state of mind then, he might have sensed the love elder’s inner voice. He might have seen deeper into his eyes and learned there was no love there, not like that openly spoken out. However, he wasn’t, and didn’t. The plan worked. The pony god was convinced of Sweet Heart pledging his love. And try as he might to convince himself it was for the best, that Sunfire would be happier with another normal pony as she had so often stated before, something ignited inside him.
But Deth refused to be a pawn in this game. No – he had some plans of his own. Sweet Heart would have to learn the hard way that fooling a god, no matter the cause, had its consequences…such as suffering Deth’s wrath. To remind him of his place, however, Deth would have to play the game Sweet’s way. As the large, crimson-eyed stallion shrunk into the shadows as inconspicuously as a wisp of smoke, he began to plot his revenge.
This would be tricky. After all, there was the saying: All’s fair in Love and War.Lady Aria Starstone Sitara lifted her head, listening for something. She had a feeling that... some one... was upset. Some one with power, for currents of power affected them all. Besides, she thought she might smell smoke. She began to hunt for whomever it was, curiously. Such power suggested another god.... SunFireDemon Almost shocked by his words she stepped back a bit. "Sweet Heart I.." she huffed a sigh and thought for a moment, "So he really said he felt nothing for me?" sadness ate at her heart and she looked over to where her herd all slept. There was several of them that lived together yet none was her own children. There was Dezmeer, the demon pony she took in as a foul. And now many others like Pyrus, Naoto, and Sophia. Looking back to Sweet, hiding the ache inside, "Perhaps we could spend time to gether. See if feelings do blossom." Her shoulder slumped a bit, "I can't sit and wait for someone that will never come. I see that now. But Deth is right. He is a god. And who am I, just a normal pony, to think I could have his love." Tymiko the Pirate Girl Deth beat his large, leathery wings overhead, his silver, cloven hooves flashing lightning and their hoof-beats clashing thunder through the clouds. The mimiced the storm in his mind and heart, raging and threatening to tear the god in two.
Sweet Heart had gone too far. If he had been after Sunfire all this time, why couldn't he have said so? The love pony must have flirted with all the ponies in the garden, but he had asked Sunfire to...it was too much to take in all at once.
Gradually, the Samhein pony became aware of a presance similar to his own. It gave off a devine aura, and soon he was certain it was a diety. Curiosity overcoming his present anger, Deth flew toward the aura. The power it radiated almost seemed to draw him in.
Hello? He called, addressing the divine presance as he entered the realm of the Gods and Goddesses. It was similar to that of the real, mortal world, only he wasn't physically there. It was sort of a dimention layered on top of the real world that only deities could access. It was possible for a god or goddess to be in both the mortal world and the divine realm at the same time, for the realm itself was a dimention within the concience of the dieties. It was how the gods and goddesses contacted each other, beyond the awareness of mortals.
Who's there?

Tymiko the Pirate Girl Sweet nodded curtiously and got up. There seemd a moment where he was a little weak at the knees, but one couldn't be sure if it was out of relief or surprise.
"Of course. I wouldn't want to rush you. You deserve to be happ, whether it's with me, or someone else. I'm just concerned for you...as a love elder, you see." He blushed, and looked away. "You deserve so much better, though..." His voice was almost inaudiable as his words faded.
The stallion turned to look up at the sky, catching a dark shape aagainst the darkening clouds before it disappeared like a forbidding omen of terrible things to come. But tos start love, one often had to break it.
"Say, Sun, when was the last time you've eaten?" He asked bluntly, as if they had never talked about anything serious. Lady Aria Starstone Sitara's head threw itself up at the Hello. Hello....? Who is that? I KNEW I felt another one of us around! I am Sitara, the Celestial goddess... She begins to move towards the other, her eyes gleaming as she is fascinated by all of it. And why are you so angry? Her mane and tail were flagged as she moved, interest in her eyes. Tymiko the Pirate Girl ((Yay! RP!!! heart whee ))"Why don't we get something to eat, then?" Sweet quickly turned away from the clouds and smiled at Sunfire instead. "I wouldn't worry about it. A little rain never did anyone harm. Besides, it adds for a more romantic setting if used appropriately, don't you think?"
He nudged her playfully, concealing his growing concern for the approaching storm. "Come on, let's see what we can go find. We can head to the vegetable patch if you want, or perhaps go for a stroll by the lake..."Deth's crimson eyes widened in shock. Wow...I didn't realize there were other gods who chose to walk among mortals...how come I sensed you in their world? Temporarily calmed by the discovery of a new diety, Deth approached the being from his direction, aware the aura was headed his way as well.
A pleasure, Sitara. I don't believe we've met before. Of if so, perhaps in a separate lifetime. My memory isn't too good. I lose track of eras now and then. He knelt on his forelegs in greeting, his golden, twisted, spiral horn nearly touching the ground.
When he laid his eyes upon her radiant, sparkling form, he raised his brows. He had never expected the goddess to be so beautiful, nor so bright. And the irony of it all was that her coat was nearly as dark as his, only sprinkled with the starlight of the heavens. I can see why you're the Celestial goddess...
Caught off gaurd by her question, Deth realized his own aura must have been tainted with his anger. In the past, he never needed worry about it - in their realm, their thoughts were open for one another to read, for they did not seem to need to communicate through verbal speech. In the past, however, he had put aside his mortal emotions and kept his feelings passive and unmoving, as a good diety should have. It didn't occur to him that the mortal pony's effect on him had been greater than he thought. Now, suddenly, he felt himself feeling hurt, betrayed, furious, and lonely, all at the same time, among other things. It was as if Sweet Heart had unlocked all his feelings.
Swiftly, he struggled to push them aside and calm his mind. What would the Goddess think if she knew he was allowing himself to feel emotions? they were painful...far too painful or any immortal to have to bear. He should have known that. Angry? Me? Well, you se...uh...he hesitated. A mortal simply acted against my will...and I plan to teach him a lesson. He will understand there are other forces at work on his world than his own...nothing I should want to concern you with, Sitara. He flexed his leathery, rust-colored wings and tossed his blood-red mane and tail.
I'm sorry for all the trouble... he added, eyeing the clouds below his silver cloven hooves, and the thunder and lightning he had set off. I understand the heavens are your domain. I will leave, if you wish it, though I doubt I can undo this storm that I've unwittingly created... Deth stared distantly at the rolling thunderclouds that surrounded them, as if seeing for the first time what his rage had brought on. Lady Aria Starstone Sitara listens, and bows in return. Indeed, I match my heavans so well. She studies him. What is it you have hold of, Deth, for I do not recall you either? She watches him, feeling his emotions in his aura, as they flicker over him, concerned. At his words, though, she frowns. No... I can tell there is something wrong, Deth. As one god to another, please... Tell me. I can help you. No one should be so upset. The only reason I could see being so unhappy with a mortal is if he broke your heart, and that would be sad indeed... The love of a god isa precious and rare thing to earn. SunFireDemon The feathers of her firey wings fluttered, "I think a meal would be nice. Then perhaps a walk by the lake. I'd love to see the fire flies." Tymiko the Pirate Girl Deth grinned a little, if somewhat bitterly, at the mention of his name, spoken just moment earlier by Sweet Heart. Could it be that you have heard of me, Sitara, though we haven't before been aquainted? I don't believe I've yet introduced myself. I apologize; I am Deth, God of Samhein, though I assume you already know that, addressing my by my name.
The stallion glanced down at the world below the clouds. It's been spoken quite often amongst the mortals recently, I fear...I should have retained my duty as a god and kept myself hidden. All my...connections with them have brought nothing but trouble. As Deth stared at his hooves, he shook his head in sorrow. I should have never listened to that little foal and come to them...nothing good ever comes out of mingling with mortals. I remember that now. It was why I only made my appearence on their world once a year on a full moon of Samhein. A wave of shame and sadness seemed to wash over him, recalling that event.
He chuckled wihtout mirth. Unfortuately, I am in no place to deny it, Sitara, as we are unable to hide our thoughts here. But I would wish not to inflict on you the pain I've been inflicted. The pain of mortal emotions is best forgotten and unknown to us dieties. That is all I can say. It would be wrong of me to drag you into what I have started.
Deth winced at the mention of love, and remembered Mercutio and Sweet Heart's reference to a diety of love when Deth had denied such an existance. There was no god or goddess to help him with his troubles. There was no reason for there to be - gods simply weren't supposed to love.
'Tis a shame you would have to know what I've felt, Deth replied rather coldly, growing less friendly as the topic was pressed upon him. He had had enough from Sweet Heart. Try not to read into it. It is a terrible thing for love to exist between a mortal and an immortal. And I will prove that. Farewell, Sitara. Until we meet again, I wish you a plesant time.
Without another word, nor waiting for one, the dark god turned away, preparing to set off at a gallop. It was clear he wasn't comfortable with their subject as his uneasiness lingered about them, shoruding them in their thoughts like a veil of mist.

Lady Aria Starstone She blushes. I... I'm not sure where I heard it, but I must have... Some where. But a pleasure it is, Deth, to meet you. She listens to him, quietly. When he finishes, she snaps out Now wait a minute. WHERE did you get that idea? Whoever told it to you LIED. The love of a mortal is a GIFT TO BE CHERISHED. We exist by their love and belief, and to earn the true love of one is... is.. the most wonderful thing we can GET. Don't you DARE turn your back on love, you silly male! If one of them loves you, Accept it! Rejoice in it! Love is... the greatest gift a god can get. Her eyes were wide, and wistful, and jealous a bit. I wish I could find such a one for myself... Go... Find him or her... Take that precious love you have been offered. Tymiko the Pirate Girl Sweet sighed at the suggestion of the romantic evening walk by the lake. "Mm...the fire flies this time of year are lovely. Ah, I forgot to ask, what do you like to eat best? Flowers? Vegetables?" He seemed slightly agitated now, his gaze flickering every now and then fearfully up toward the sky.
If Deth was to make someone suffer for his pain, Sweet sincerely hoped Sunfire would not be it. At the very least, he would have to keep an eye on her that evening to make sure no harm came to her.
"Oh, and, not that you don't deserve a break, but who will watch your herd?" He glanced back. "I'd send Julian, but I had him running a different errand. Besides, he's a bit too inexperienced in such things."Deth halted and, unexpectedly, laughed; a hollow, deep laugh that usually frightened little ones wandering around the woods in late October. He hadn't laughed like that since before he had met Julian and the others. It was cruel and terrible, like the laugh of a man about to die, or of a sadist who was watching one being tortured. Unlike any pony laugh, it held all the malice of humanity.
You spend too much time amongst the stars and clouds, Sitara, if you'll pardon my saying so. If you'd come down every so often, you might see what trouble mortals are. Always whining and pleading and begging, their needs usually so trivial, more often wants than anything...I have little faith left in them all. Perhaps they will turn corrupt. It didn't seem as if Deth was speaking anymore, though the thoughts were undoubtably his. It was as if he had been taken over by some dark force...like the one that had captured him last Samhein. He had never really understood what had happened to him back then...
The love of a mortal is nothing. They give and take love as freely as they take lives. They live shortly and then die. What worth is there in that?! It's certainly not worth any pain we might have to bear for all eternity once they're gone. What does it matter to us, their suffering? We suffer far greater, mingling with them; imperfect souls with blackened hearts. I wish to be alone.
He whirled around, his eyes aglow with an inward light. His words were suddenly forceful and bold. I am no silly love-sick fool like that traitor, Sweet Heart. He has more in common with his sister, Broken Heart, than I realized. I could never claim what you suggest; not after another has claimed it for me. So there you have it! He stomped his hoof in loathing, and a silver bolt of lighting shot from it through the clouds and down below into the forest. SunFireDemon Sunny shivered at the sound of thunder and the flash of silver light, "Well if you think it's safe to go out then Dez can keep things in line. He's matured so much sence he now has a family of his own of sorts. Or even Danted." Wild like a blazing fire her mane shook wiht her whole body before settleing and being teased by the wind. It seemed like a slow rolling fire with every move. Lady Aria Starstone Sitara rears and snorts in rage. Selfish, single minded, FOOL of a god! If you actually listened to yourself, you'd see what a fool you sound! You're sounding like that herd I have watched from on HIGH, Goliath's kin. Wake up! You have love and take it, is the gift only few ever get! She flashes bright, like a nebula ready to explode perhaps, or a star ready to go Nova. What are you thinking? What do they matter to us? WE EXIST FOR THEM. We exist SOLELY for them, and if you can not see that, you have blinded yourself in your foolish selfishness.[/i She stomps towards him, every step marked by a flash of blinding light. I will follow you EVERYWHERE til you get up the courage to get over this and speak to the one whom you love, and who loves you, if you are so foolish as to deny it! I wont let you rest, where one god can go, so can another!

Tymiko the Pirate Girl "Oh, really?" Sweet chuckled anxiously. Last he had seen Dezmeer, the little demon foal had beem trying to break up couples that he had so carefully brought together. He couldn't quite recall a Dante, though. "If you think so, Sunny, than I'm sure it'll be fine..."
Admring her shimmering radiance, even in the approaching darkness, Sweet Heart grinned and nodded toward the direction of the vegetable patch. At least there was possibly shelter beneath the gourds and green stalks. "Come on! I'll race you!" He challenged, winking at her playfully. "Wouldn't want the rain to douse your lovely flaming locks, now would we?" SunFireDemon She looked at her fire colored hair then tore out towards the garden. "YOu better hurry or you'll be beaten by a girl!" she nickered. ((Umm I think that was a different demon pony. Dez wasn't that bad. He was the one that talked to death a few times.)) Tymiko the Pirate Girl Deth stared at the goddess calmly through his glowing crimson eyes. He seemed to be laughing silently. Hm. Who's the one angry now? Careful, Goddess. How will you ever make a good diety if you let emtions tamper with you?
He cast her a sideways glance. Goliath? I'm afraid that's another name I've neglected to learn. Mmm...I think not, my dear. She chose to stray from my path, but who could really blame her? After all, the path of a god is a hard one to follow. Besides...she herself never told me anything of her heart. This could all be a very unfortunate misunderstanding. He looked away again to stare down at the storm-swept valley below. It'll just be an unfortunate misunderstanding with very unfortunate consequences...
Temper, temper, Sitara. YOU exist for them. A pretty thing for all to gaze at lovingly, starry-eyed. I exist for the dead - a frightening, horrible creature to behold; a reminder of their mortality, and a celebration of departed souls. It's time I live up to my duties. I've been slacking for a year, but I'll waste no more time. His wild, wind-swept mane and forelock blew into his face, whipping across his dark coat and tangling itself around his trio of horns; the pair of purple rams' and his single golden, twisted one.
Then, as she threatened to follow him, his deep voice erupted with another maniacal laugh. Everywhere? Oh, Goddess, is this true? He taunted with mock fear. Even to the gates of Hades itself? Across the river Stix into the land of the dead? You would be truly devoted to follow me so far. He grinned madly. Very well; we shall see. But you must understand...it is the dead that never rest, and because of that, niether can I. I call them forth from their eternal slumber to consult them, but I am certain they would not be liable to resist my will if for some reason I had to have them attack you.
And although we cannot die...a terrible expression of delight lit his face. We can be caught...captured...tortured. For you may recall, there is no 'celestial view of the heavens' from Hades. No, down there, Sitara, you would be next to powerless against my will. Then his grin faded as suddenly as it had appeared and, with a look of pure hatred and seriousness, he added, So I am politely advising you to rethink your threats. Farewell, Sitara. Until we meet again... Slowly, gradually, his tangible form faded like a soft light dimming.
His empty, dark laughter echoed long after the Samhein God began to fade from his place in the clouds. He had left the Divine Realm. Or, perhaps, he was merely entering a different part of it, as he had described. Hades, the land of the dead, also happened to be in the realm of the gods. It had been a while since Death had found reason to visit it.
Let's see what poor romantic avengers I can call upon this evening...Romeo, perhaps? Ah, and his lovely Juliet...certainly they would have a plan I can use... Tymiko the Pirate Girl Sweet Heart whinnied back to her in amusement. "And...that would be a bad thing?" One thing that made him different from Deth or Julian was that Sweet could lose himself with the slightest persuasion. He easily forgot his worries for the moment, caught in the moment and running alongside the firey elder.
The last time they had done so, she had been too worried to have as much fun as he had, but now it was he who had to worry. But for better or worse, worrying was just not something Sweet was good at doing; that was more under Julian's department. No, all Sweet enjoyed was making girls happy and setting the right atmosphere. it was what he did best, even without a specific magic power. "Hey, wait up, Sun! Well, at least with you in the lead, I won't lose sight of you too easily..." Lady Aria Starstone Sitara whinnies in rage and in her anger... the stars begin to flash, almost threateningly. And if you walk beneath my stars again, oh FOOL of a god, you WILL regret it, if thou dost not find thy love and GIVE IN TO HER. Daft one! One star, then another, begins to blinks in a way that suggest they were... unhappy, overextended. Damien Cypher Tango looks up into the stars, his head tilted quesitoningly...'what is going ON up there?' was his only thought...he was tempted to go hide, but he sat and waited, to see what would happen. SunFireDemon For the time she enjoyed the run, whinning happily. Neraing the gardens he slowed to a trot. "I haven't done that in a while." she sighed, "Sweet, cna i confess something to you...." the hope that he would understand was there but hte fear of what may come of it. Darksun was nestled in he leafy bed just before a flash of light made him bolt up. "Uh wa what?" Looking around he saw his father asleep. Slipping out of the little den made of leaves, the demonic influenced dragon pony trotted out to see the stars. "Oh wow! I thought it was gonna rain but look at that!" Tymiko the Pirate Girl Oh, but she is not my love any longer, nor I hers, so your words hold no power over me, Bright One, Deth remarked casually through teleapthy, though it was quite a bit harder to make out as he decended into the underworld. I am merely exacting my revenge on he who dared oppose me..."You haven't?" Sweet inquired, surprised. "That's a shame. I do it far too often, but it's certianly not as fun running after Deth and Julian all the time. Speaking of which, I wonder what became of the flower boy...last I saw him I sent him back to a girl..." Laughing, the love elder grew silent at the fire elder's sigh.
"Certainly; but why? Is something the matter?" He could sense some uneasiness within her eyes. It helped to be as sensitive to feelings as he was.Meanwhile, Julian, who was biding his time going back to the garden in hopes Infi wouldn't still be there when he arrived, had noticed the rolling storm clouds and hastened his pace. The large, grey clouds quickly blotted out a few stars, making the world darker with each light hidden. Only occasionally was the sky lit with a flash of lighting, followed by and booing clash of thunder.
Storm clouds mean rain and wind. More water than the flowers of the garden need, Julian thought worriedly. But as he galloped on, he noticed something peculiar. It isn't raining...Why not? Lady Aria Starstone You lie, you do, and I can tell! If you did not you would not be so angry, oh fool! One of the stars seemed to EXPLODE into brightness in her rage, bright enough to be seen through all the clouds. Tymiko the Pirate Girl You are mistaken. I am no longer angry, replied the god in impassive tones of devious cunning. I have remembered my purpose as a god, And as such, I do not lie. See down there for yourself, if you wish. I would not bear to look upon her anymore. Not wiith that carefree stallion who thinks he's outwitted me. SunFireDemon Slowing to a stop Sunny stared at her hooves. "All that time I sat outside of my herds resting place I had hoped..." she took a deep breath, "That Deth would wonder by. I was affraid if I left I would miss seeing him. Most parents tell their fools if you ever are lost and need ot be found by the one that cares for you, stay in one place. I don't think I ever told him how I felt about him. The last time I spoke to him was over bu the lake when the fireflies where out. But I was a fool. As foolish as a foal. How could a god love a a normal pony like me. One that is not even a demon or dragon pony. At least they are special and outside of the nomality. I was....silly to think that there could be a possiblity of having his love." She looked at him wiht hurt eyes, "But if what you say is true, then I know now his feelings for me was not the same as mine. Makes me feel like a fool. But I guess it was good I never confessed my love. My fear of him rejecting...." Walking on she soon found her self infront of a tall tomatoe plant. earwings sweeign back and lowering, "What will I do now. I had never felt so much joy just by seeing him. the hope of bumping into him like often times we did made me look forward to each day. Now....now there is only the thing there is for me is to look after the herd, as is the duty of the first elder of the Flame herd." She nodded and tried to turn so the tears that fell down her face could not be seen, leaving a dark trail on her dark grey colored body.

Lady Aria Starstone Sitara looks down. If that was so, you'd not care on being outwitted, or on revenge... And look, she cries for you... You mean so much to her. How can you push that aside, that pain she feels? You would rather LEAVE her with that young Stallion whom she clearly does not love, when she aches for you? That is... a sin, such as only a god of EVIL, which thou are not, would do. The brightness seemed to illuminate SunFire, as Sitara moved over her, so that it was clear, the tears on her face. Tymiko the Pirate Girl Sweet suddenly adopted a pained, sympathetic look, again quite uncharacteristacally. "Aw, come now, Sun. You're very loyal to wait for him, but you know if he came he'd never come seek out out. He's far too shy for that. Besides, I think he feared you'd hate him or something."
"Everytime I run into he seems upset to be discovered at all. At least, he had been recently...I think something happened to him that Samhien night. You know...with all that business of the Lost ones in Goliath's herd?"
He looked on. "Julian had fainted. But we never found the Samehin god that night...only just a few days ago did I see him again. And it's been month since that night. I wonder what could have happened to him."
Sweet Heart turned to her, his voice stren for once. "Sun, don't ever doubt yourself. You're one of the most confident mares in the whole valley. If you being to doubt yourself, then that just means De - er, he has no reason to believe in you either." He caught himself quickly as he realized he was coming dangerously close to giving away his intentions. He had begun to contridact his words earlier. Not to mention calling Deth's name again, which was asking for trouble. He dare not mention it now that he knew the god was angry. "Not that he cares, I mean...but you're strong and brave, and better than you could ever be as an immortal or another pony. You're perfect the way you are. And if he can't accept that, he doesn't deserve your affection."
The stallion felt he was falling apart. One thing that melted all his deception was the tears of a female. He was so close to telling her the truth...and yet, it took all of his remaining will power just to convince himself it was for the better not to tell just yet. "Sunfire..." For once in his life, the love elder's words failed him. Instead, he trotted to her side and nuzzled her gently. "It's not over yet..." he couldn't help whispering. "Don't give up hope. You'll be happy and smile again. Soon. I promise."I feel no pain anymore. I feel nothing. Deth, who had already entered the realm of the dead, did not bother to see if Sitara's claims were true. He had come this far, and he would not turn back now. He is an elder of Love. How could she not love him? It's best this way...as it always had been. And I shall do all in my power to keep it as such.
The goddess was starting to become obnoxious. Only a silly female would consider such an act a sin. Find a mortal lover yourself if you wish, goddess. Then the sky will collapse on the world all because of you. Is that what you want? He roared, his voice stirring the souls of the dead, who moaned and cried out mournfully from the river Stix.
Deth, recalling his mission, walked over to them, his silver hooves clattering loudly, echoing like the hollow, dreaded sound of approaching death.
As he had the previous fall at the lake, the Samhein god closed his eyes and arched his elegant neck over the waters of eternity. The Rivier Stix was where he visited semiconciously through the Realm of the Dieties every time he used his Soul Speaking power. However, now that he was actually there, in both mental and physical form, his powers were intensified, and he could call upon any soul he wished, not just the ones most recently departed.
"I call upon the betrayed lovers of the past; Medea of Colchis! Romeo & Juliet of Verona! Pan, sacrificed God of Shepherds and Flocks!" His voice, though barely louder than a whisper, was ubiquitous; it sounded from all around. as if it emitted from the very air itself. He folded his leather wings neatly against his back as he knelt by the river bank. His twisted, golden, spiral horn was directed at the water. Deth soon seemed oblivious to his surroundings, slipping into the trance-like state of his divine being.
Almost at once, the spirits from the river rose as he called them, hovering above the flow before swiftly drawing near to the god. "What is it you wish to ask of us, Serendipony God?" They inquired, as with a single, haunting unison; mere echos of their formal, living voices.
In a slow, graceful motion, Deth lifted his head and opened his ruby eyes, which seemed to glow with the same crimson, unnatural, inner light, even more brilliant than the dark aura radiance that surrounded him. He regarded each of the spirits in turn. "Tonight I must ask of you...what is the most appropriate way to avenge oneself of a betrayed love?" The stallion took a step forward as the ghosts seemed to look at each other in curiosity and bewilderment. "You all must know something; surely you would have an appropriate idea of how trecherous thieves of lovers should be delt with. I need your help." He met their transparent eyes with his intense gaze. "Or are you of no use to me?"
When Deth called upon departed souls, often they refused to tell him anything, or, worse yet, remembered nothing of their past life at all. Here in the River Stix, with his power intensified, there was a better chance his magic and thirst for revenge could help revive their own memories, but still, not always would they be able to recall. Some souls found the memory of life far too painful to bear.
"Kill them!" Medea advised. "Kill them both! Show them the truth in their mortality! Leave no innocent alive, not even your stolen love, for others may come after her in revenge." She, Deth knew, had herself killed not only her lover's bride, but her own children so that none other could slay them. As if in reminder of her past memories, she began to recite the last of her spoken thoughts before she had murdered her sons."By the avengers that in Hades reign, it never shall be said that I have left my children for my foes to trample on. It is decreed."
Romeo and Juliet clung to each other, looking horrified at Medea's reasoning. "That cannot be! How horrible!" Juliet cried out. "Isn't there enough death, and tragedy in the world? Certainly thee msut be another way!"
"Perhaps she does not truly love him," Romeo suggested, but as Deth turned to him with an intimidating stare, he added, "Or he may not love her. True love is impossible to break, but if there is even the slightest flaw..."
"You may win your true love back!" Juliet cried out. "But you must be cunning. Clever."
"Ha. As if I need true love. I am a god. I need not win her back," Deth scoffed, looking away for a moment, pacing beside the river. "But I must think of a good plan...yes...cunning. But my anger blinds me. I cannot think with a clear mind this evening. And so, I turn to all of you. What do you suggest?"
"You say you need no love," a bitterly musing voice commented, "And yet even the gods have lovers. Certainly, most are the worldy desires of lust and pleasure...but believe me, Deth. There are some mortals worth feeling emotions for."
"You make no sense, Pan," Deth thundered, growing angry as he faced the goat god's qhostly appartition. "Look at you! The only Greek God to give up him immortality and make it down here to the Underworld. Why? Because you, of all gods, you fell for a mortal girl! Iphigeneia, daughter of Helen of Troy! Wasn't it enough for you to settle your lust with those nymphs?" He took another step forward challengingly.
Pan put his hands on his goat hips, leaning forward as if to butt his own ram horns against Deth's. "That was not the same. True love is different, Deth. You know that just as well as I do. I died for a mortal, yes. But now at least I can spend eternity with her. You see...it doesn't truly matter if you're immortal or mortal. So long as your love is pure, you will find a way to remain together. That is...if you so choose."
He smirked and righted himself. "Being a god doesn't make loving wrong, Deth. It's okay. I didn't acknowledge my feelings at first. I was convinced I would never love; never be hurt. But now..." he let his sentance hang in the air and dissolved into an unearthly laugh. "Now I know. Take it from me, pony god. We're just the same, after all."
"I am nothing like you." Deth's glowing eyes narrowed, his twisted golden horn lowered as if he wished to spear the floating spectre. "Enough. Leave me."
"You are more like me than you realize," Pan answered with a chuckle. "Just give it some time...you'll see..." And with that, his floating form decended to join his ghostly Iphigeneia once again in the River Stix.
Deth sneered. Fine. He didn't need Pan's help. All love had done for that god was somehow persuade him to give up his life as an immortal for a mortal human girl. He turned back to Medea, Juliet, and Romeo, who had all been silently conversing during his and Pan's conversation.
"We think we've found a solution that won't require any death at all," Juliet announced. Romeo held her close. "Your knowledge of mortals will be tested greatly in this plan, however, so you must be catious. Revenge is not your goal."
"Isn't it?" Deth retorted, almost angrily. "I have been forsaken! What good will come of this if not revenge?"
"For one, you will be able to test the true bond of your pressumed lover," Medea responded. She seemed rather pleased with the idea herself. "But it also tests the limits of jealousy, and that is a dangerous mortal emotion to tamper with."
"But as long as you stick to your knowledge and don't go beyond the limits of what feeds mortal jealousy, you will succeed," Juliet told him. "Listen, here..."
Deth listened intently. It was an absurd plan - he was certain he would never have thought of it alone. Only female minds worked in such twisted ways; to perhaps bring jealousy to be used for good. "Very well," he agreed, stepping back from the river, preparing to return to the mortal world. "I will do as you ask. But...will this work?"
"Only if their love is truly false. You could not break it if they shared mutual love for one another," Romeo warned.
The stallion's prideful stance seemed to waver for an instant; his proud posture seemed to droop.
"But don't forget...all's fair in Love and War. In the end, the choice will be yours, Deth. Don't ever let anything cloud the judgement of your true feelings." With those last words, Romeo nodded, wished the god the best of luck, and, taking his Juliet by the hand, dismissed himself.
"I am grateful to you all for your good council this evening," Deth thanked them as they left. "You may be dismissed as well, Medea. Farewell." As Medea vanished along with the others, the pony god turned back the way he had come and out into the storm of the mortal world. Lady Aria Starstone Liar. You would not call for revenge if you felt nothing. I leave you, oh petty one, to your foolish deeds. Her heart breaks thanks to you, and you are a fool not to see what you have wrought. She turns away, disgusted indeed by the god of Samhain, her eyes blank. If I find love, I at least know I can control myself enough to act appropriately, without bringing the sky down on all. And if I did... you wshould be glad, all the mortals would be YOUR problem. She trots off, ignoring him now, letting no light of the stars fall on what she saw as his black heart, and goes to watch the poor girl he foolishly rejected.Amora wanders quietly through the woods, her pink, heart shaped wings fluttering, lost in thought. Tymiko the Pirate Girl Deth smiled as he spotted the pink fairy pony from his place in the shadows beyond the trees of the forest, though his smile did not reach his illuminated eyes. They glowed crimson in the darkness of the woods, but when he took a step out into the open, his wings folded closely by his sides, he blinked and they returned to normal.
In the contrasting clashes of his earlier hoofbeats, he made almost no sound as he stepped delicately upon the soft earth, quielty pursuing the female. He called out to her.
"Why hello, m'lady," he greeted, unfolding his wings in a spontaneous, grand gesture, "And what would a pretty filly like you be doing out in these woods all by yourself?" Lightning flashed overhead, and thunder sounded shortly after.
"Haven't you heard it's dangerous? Particularly during an omionous storm Like this one."

Particularly during an omionous storm Like this one." SunFireDemon Sunfire sighed, unable to stop the tears, "I wish it would Sweet. But I....I now know he didn't love me and it hurts to think I was foolish enough to think he would love me." She walked over to where water had pooled up inside a cupped leaf, "I remembre the night we ran through the woods. Following Death's hoof prints. We lost him, and I feared I'd never see him again. I left my herd unattended during it all to find him. I just don't know if I can smile anytime soon." Tymiko the Pirate Girl ((*listens to a song while posting* XD I dunno...just seems...appropriate for Deth & Sunfire. What do you think, Sunny?))The crimson stallion stared down at his hooves and swallowed. "You don't know that..." he whispered in her ear. "Not for certain...it's only about as sure as your love for him. Because you see...niether of you exchanged words, did you? Nither of you confessed anything..."
He watched her as she went over to a leaf. The storm had long delyed its rain, but just then it began to pour down hard. It was like the heavens crying down on them; crying down the combined sorrow of both dieties and mortals alike.
"Shh...shh, it's alright. No one said you had to. Here, stay under the leaves, or you'll catch a cold..." SunFireDemon ((My god that is a lovely song! *listens to it over*)) Looking up at the sky, the rain ran down her face and mingled with the tears on her cheeks. The firey mane that had been whipped about laid flat agains her head and neck, leaving her head wings standing off by themselves. Closign her eyes she greeted the rain, "Oh Death. If only you can hear me. I loved you. I loved you so, with all my heart. I saved it for you but was afraid. What a coward am I?" Firey wings on her back were closed snug to her back, "The sky cries with me.." she muttered. Tymiko the Pirate Girl (( heart Lol, I just randomly found it today right before I started posting...
Oh! And here's one that fits Sweet & Sun's recent rp perfectly, even if they're not really a couple. xd
And...possibly one for Sunfire? But then, I wouldn't know. ^^; ))
Sweet Heart's once high posture drooped, and his head hung low, his vibrant, pink mane damp and wet as he tried to shield Sunfire from the rain. He said nothing, only listened, his ruby eyes scanning the heavens.
What have I done? he asked himself. Where's Deth? I thought he might have shown himself by now...surely this storm was his cause...but the rain...that doesn't seem to be his doing. Sweet glanced at Sunfire, her eyes closed. How could you let her suffer like this, Deth?
Suddenly, a dreaded thought struck the stallion. Surely you didn't run away...? I thought I knew you better than that... Lady Aria Starstone ((Aria was dragged off by the family)) Amora SQUEALS in shock at the appearance of the god, and bolted, her eyes wide and panicked. The storm had unnerved her and she didn't know what to do, so she ran, and ran hard, from this male that was so... DIFFERENT... appearing from nowhere besides her.Tymiko the Pirate Girl ((Sure, Sun! why not? <3))Deth made no reaction to the fairy's apparent surprise. He merely reamined calm in pursuing her, catching an updraft from the storm winds and manuvering his way through the trees on his leathery wings.
He chuckled as he caught up with her. Fairies were certainly flighty, though he had never met one in person before. This one was a very pretty little thing indeed.
"Aw, come now," he coaxed with his deep voice, soaring as effortlessly as if he were floating on a spring breeze. The only difference was the darkness that cloaked them and the occasional flashes of lighting combined with the booms of thunder.
"I can't be all that bad, can I, sweetheart?" He flashed her a sharp-toothed smile. "What's your hurry? The storm's just begun. It's bound to be some time before it clears up. Oh! And look...rain..."
The water drops pattered against his wings, dripping off them like off an umbrella. It slowed him somewhat, but not by much. Without warning, however, a voice in his head was calling his name.
"...Deth. If only you can hear me..."
He closed his eyes, groaning and clentching his teeth. Why now? The voice seemed familiar...but he would not be bothered with names or mortals, not now. Not when he had a mission to accomplish. He chose to ignore it.
Opening his eyes just in time, Deth narrowly managed to swerve before hitting a tree. Lady Aria Starstone The teeth terrify her more, and she swerves, trying to find a spot to hide. "Go away! You scare me!" She was trembling like a leaf, her high, sweet voice loud, audible to anyone nearby. The whites of her eyes showed as she fled, her little wings fluttering. She didn't know who this was, who was chasing her, but she was terrified! SunFireDemon Opening her eyes she looked round and sighed, "I know he can hear when we call his name.....He really doesn't care." With a bit of a sniff she laid down into the mud, the black stockings of her legs and her tail splattered with brown. Tymiko the Pirate Girl ((XD Almost pg 400...))"I might have...if only I didn't need your help so terribly, my dear," the god answered casually, examining the scenery as if taking a beautiful morning walk through the woods. "And your cooperation is crucial. Don't worry, I won't hurt you; there's no need to be rude. I am a god, after all."
The old Deth never would have admitted it. He was almost ashamed of his divinity. But now that he had, for a time, locked away his moral judgement and most of his emotions, the god had no thought for the fairy's fear.
"Mm...such a sweet voice," he complimented, almost hatefully. "No doubt to lure adoring admirerers to your side..." He paused, regarding her. "Darling, would you be willing to do me one, tiny favor? I promise never to bother you after that if you'll do just one little thing for me. It should be quite a simple task for you." Tymiko the Pirate Girl SunFireDemon Opening her eyes she looked round and sighed, "I know he can hear when we call his name.....He really doesn't care." With a bit of a sniff she laid down into the mud, the black stockings of her legs and her tail splattered with brown. She's right... Sweet thought, beginning to grow concerned. And concern was not something too familiar to one such as Sweet Heart.
"Deth?!" He called to the wind, his voice nearly drowned out by the rain. But Deth had to hear. He had to. "Deth! DETH!!!"
After several minutes, the stallion gave up. "It's no use," he told Sunfire. "He won't respond. But that can't be why. If he didn't care about you alone, he should have at least answered to me..." Sweet Heart began to wonder what had become of the god. "No...NO! This can't be!" he called to the heavens. "Deth, you COWARD! SHOW YOURSELF!"
He began to think the situation was hopeless.SunFireDemon Her body soaked completly she weakly got up to her hooves adn made her way from the garden to the lake. He head was low, wathcing the ground. "I..I never told him. I never told Deth how I felt. That I loved him. I was scared a mear pony like me could neverhold a place in hsi heart..." Tears welled up in her eyes making it hard to see as she walked. Lady Aria Starstone Amora ducks under a mushroom, one with only room for her under it. "I don't know you, I don't trust you, and you scare me!" She was almost crying with fear. Why wouldn't he let her alone? She just wanted to be left alone. "I'm not looking for admirerers! Don't call me Darling! I heard that... that emotion, so close to hate... in your voice. You don't like me, you don't want anything to do with me! I'm just some... tool." Tymiko Deth decended upon the shroom the fairy had hidden under. Taking the time to fold his wings carefully before folding his legs under him, he settled himself on the dome of the funny-shaped fungus, letting his blood-red tail dangle over the edge in thick curls. He seemed to be taking his own sweet time in doing so, even as the storm thundered overhead. He had her trapped now. No reason to rush. The rain continued to fall, but Deth gave no care.
Examining his silver, cloven hooves, he spoke calmly, realizing he wasn't going to get anywhere by frightening the filly. However, it was clear by the sound of his voice that his patience was running thin. "Very well, fairy. Have it your way. I merely thought I'd be polite. But as it seems you take it as an insult, I'll stop being friendly and cut to the chase."
He leaned over the edge, so that he could look at her as he spoke. "You may not know me, child, but I assure you, I'm quite familiar with you, and more so your ancestors. I'm not asking you to trust me, nor do I expect you to, but as I said earlier, I am in need of your assistance."
Getting up, he shook his mane and tail of the water that had collected on it, then spread his wings out to shield him like an umbrella. He stood atop the mushroom, gazing into the distance, as he continued. "You are not the first to fear me, and are certianly not the last. After all, I am a god."
As if to remind him, a particularly loud clap of thunder split the skies and instantly Deth's mind was screaming in agony. "..Deth! DETH!!!..." It called, in a voice not his own. He winced and fell to his knees, attempting to recover. He hadn't even began to get up when it rang out again. "Deth you COWARD! SHOW YOURSELF!..."
By this time, the voice was so loud it drowned out all the stallion's other thoughts. It was almost too much for him to bear as he collapsed and fell from his perch atop the mushroom. He landed hard in the wet, pooling puddles of mud below, hardly moving and groaning quietly.
"Please..." he whispered hoarsly, though it was difficult to say who he was addressing. His eyes were shut tight and his wings were wrapped tightly about his injured form in defence, like a blanket about an infant. He remained curled up as the rain beat down on him.
"I...I've done something terrible. I need to make up for it. But I can't...can't do it. Not alone..." Deth's once proud, deep voice now sounded as weak as a dying animal breathing its last breath. However, being a god, it was not physical wounds that he suffered from, but rather the once inflicted by the dangerous inner conflict within.
He clentched his teeth and struggled to his hooves, shivering visibly for the first time, his wet mane clinging to his face. He managed to get up just enough to see Amora, and his intense, sorrowful gaze locked on hers. "Please...I need your help.""Sunfire, if there's one thing I know about, it's love. Even in all its mysteries, it's still the same." Sweet Heart tried to smile a little, hoping to cheer Sunfire up. "You didn't have to tell him. He should have known. It was his job to know, even if he isn't exactly the God of Love. If he didn't realize it, or even if he did and just refused to acknowledge it, that was his fault. He's afraid of his feelings."
He looked away. "And I took advantage of that..." Sweet whispered quietly to himself, nearly inaudiable as a flash of lighting split the air and the deafening rain pattered on the lake surface. His plan was falling apart. No use trying to get her to pretend to love him now. It didn't matter anymore. Deth wasn't coming.
What have I done? he kept asking himself. How could I have been so confident? I managed to anger a god, believing his emotions would get the better of him...and I succeeded. A little too well. He glanced at the sky, as if the stallion would appear out of them at any moment. I never thought he'd turn tail and run...not Deth. He's got too much pride for that. So...where did I go wrong?
He followed Sunfire slowly as she headed toward the lake, watching their rippling reflections dance upon the surface while listening to the fire mare.
"Anything's possible with love. In fact, Sun, if you ask me, I'd say he might have had a crush on you first. Then again, I didn't know the guy back then, but still...the way he kept avoiding the subject of you..." he laughed silently. "Like a shy foal too embarressed to admit anything. I'd recognize that tactic of evasion anywhere. Even Julian uses it now. That kid's a lot like Deth, you know."
Maybe that was what went wrong... Sweet pondered sadly. Perhaps he did love her. He loved her more than he would ever admit to anyone, even himself, so no one knew. But then...when I told Sunfire all those things...maybe he was hurt far deeper than anyone knew.
The elder sighed. And now he's gone. All thanks to me. Way to go, Sweet. You thought you knew all about mortal love. Heh. Guess you never counted on the love of a god in denial.
"Sunfire..." He drew even with her, keeping his pace to match hers. "He seemed like he wanted to love you. Only...he always made it sound like something was holding him back." Sweet looked at her seriously. "You and I both know bold as he is, it's mostly all just show. We know he's really hard to pin down on the major things, like commitment and love. But maybe that's just 'cause we're mortals. We can live however we want. Maybe...maybe he's not allowed to fall in love, or something. I mean...the immortals like the angels and demons seem fine with it, but gods...they have other things. Duties they have to fulfill."
Sweet stopped all of a sudden. "Whoa, watch it there, Sun, you're going a little too close to the water...listen. All that stuff he said could have been rubbish. After all, he only has major duties one night a year. The rest he just talks to the dead and sees over them, but the Angel of Deth does most of that. And yet...that may be the sorce of his fears. He hasn't been affected by emotions for years and years, right? Just beginning to experince them again must be like being reborn. And that would explain the foal behavior."
"What I'm trying to say with this is that while it's not the best excue in the world, it's a good point, and a good reason for what might be his fear. Emotions include joy, but also pain. Immortals generally try to stay away from both, because joy is too sweet to last for long and too many earthly attachments can cause an eternity of pain to haunt them their whole damn immortal life."
He paused, looking lost in thought. "It must be terrible...not being able to die. We'd get so tired...with just...living. Dealing with things...and eventually, we'd probably just shut off our emotions too. Don't you think? There must be...something he's afraid of...probably involving you." SunFireDemon She stopped just at in the water, her hooves covered by the cold liquid she looked out over the surface, "So what am I to do? Give up and live alone. My heart is for him. and him alone. I will be attached to no ohter pony but Deth." Her grey coat was black as the stocking that went up her legs, "If he is the lord of the dead, and can speak with them. Even if I pass on, We could be together. There is more to love than physical pleasures." Water rolled down her mane and body as she shivered. Lady Aria Starstone His first actions terrified her, but then, when she heard the second part, she stared at him. She was silent for a long time. "What have you done...? And what can some one as insignifigant, and SCARED, as me do?" Her little wings flutter as she doesn't move out from under the mushroom, still not at all sure she trusts this pony. "And why did you have to terrify me? I don't care about your godness... you startled me, you bared fangs at me, and then you tried to force me to do something.."

Tymiko the Pirate Girl Sweet Heart watched Sunfire carefully, half afraid that she would be crazy enough to do something like drown herself. Everything seemed so many times more dreary in the rain. "If you're truly willing to pay any price to be with him," he said, followng her gaze onto the dark water, "Then maybe you can convince him that it's okay. That he doesn't need to worry about you...because I think he worries too much. Like a mother fretting over her favorite child."
He took a step back at her declaration of loyalty, signifying his respect for her decision. He would no longer try to get in between their love, even if it was broken. It wasn't as if he had any real intentions of doing so in the first place. To emphasize this, he chuckled a little and said, "I guess this means its over between us, then?" With a sheepish smile, he added, "Well...it never really started, but it was fun while it lasted."
"Shame, really. We could have been a great couple, you know - just you and me." He teased, laughing. "But I admire your vow, Elder Sunfire. Valiant and courageous as you already are, it takes a special kind of bravery to not only ignore the fear of dying...but to embrace Death itself." The stallion turned his head to wink at her. "No pun intended."
"Besides...what would a god who so rarely visits this world know about physical pleasures at all?" Grinning maliciously at his suggestive, playful comment, the love elder abandoned his serious attitude completly and everted to his own true self, leaping backward in case Sunfire felt the urge to hit him. "Come on. Let's go find that God. He couldn't have gotten too far since he heard us talking."The voices in Deth's head continued, but they were softer now; their intensity lessened, as his name was no longer being directed toward him.
"...That kid's a lot like Deth, you know." Sweet Heart's voice. It had to be. The large stallion heaved himself up on shaky legs of ebony, trying hard to keep from collapsing in pain once again.
"I've underestimated a very powerful thing that only mortals have," Deth answered, the fairy filly's vague words just barely comprehendable. The world seemed to swim before his eyes. Where was he? It was as if all had been a dream...but he remembered all his deeds quite clearly. What had come over him?!
He struggled to remain upright, spreading his wings out for balance. One looked as if it were bent at an awful angle, and he ceased to try and move it. "There is much you can do," he grunted, "To help me...for I have learned I know nothing of this mortal feeling. This thing called love." Deth's head drooped sadly, as if he would never be able to lift it proud again for shame of what he had done. "...and I have talked with...friends of mine who have told me you can help, Amora. You, a love fairy. And thus in being one, you could never be so insignificant as you think."
His knowledge of the pony's name was nothing surprising. He was aware of all the Serendiponies names', just as all gods were. Of course, since most knew of his name, it was only fair. Normally, he preferred introductions when dealing with mortals; just to keep things normal and polite. But now was not the time for formalities.
Deth attempted to walk in a circle, testing his legs, but found he could only manage this at a limp. His hind right leg was cut and bleeding from a sharp rock he had come into contact with upon his fall. "I'm sorry if I terrified you. Believe me, I wouldn't terrify anyone intentionally unless it were Samhein, but no matter. Something's wrong...I'm wrong. There's something wrong with me."
His mind wandered back to that Samhein night when he had heard that eerie music. He had even left Sunfire to follow it...and then he remembered being surrounded by darkness. What had happened then? It was as if he had entered another realm...surely whatever was wrong with him must have had to do with that incident. He was having difficulty keeping control of himself. But why? And who could he ask?
"...I will be attached to no other pony but Deth." Another voice rung in his head. It was a beautiful voice...familiar...but he couldn't quite grasp its owner in his mind. Something dark and cloudy was blocking it. Something hateful and jealous. "What's happened to me?" he whispered, suddenly afraid of himself. SunFireDemon "Find him? But where do we look? I have never found a place that Deth was certain to be at." Walking back to shore a hoof slipped on a slick rock, sending the elder slashing down into the mud and water. Lady Aria Starstone Amora blinks at his knowledge of her name, for she knew little, if nothing, of gods. "A... love fairy? Is that what I'm supposed to be?" She sighs. "I... never knew, all I knew is I was different. Now, what can I tell you about Love?" She moves out, towards him, slowly, tentatively, then gently nuzzles him, concerned. "Careful. Let's see if I can't support you to a better spot. Come on... Lean against me, we should move to a dry place so you don't get hurt." She leans so he can support him, looking at him. "I doubt only mortals have love, I've heard of demons and angels, who are immortal, finding love... So let's see what I can do for you."

Time had passed and Sunfire returend to her herd. The weather had become even more vilant than the strom kicked up by the angered god. Harperking Galaen paced along the edge of the forest. Once more, things were not right in the gardens. The winter had been harsh and now that the spring was on the way it looked to be just as strange a season. "It is not normal to go from deep snow to near summer temperatures so fast" the angel muttered to himself as he walked back and forth. "Plants that should be growing aren't - and some of those that are in bloom shouldn't be until much later in the year. And the storms... the few that we have had..." Gala shuddered at the memory. The winds and lightening from the last storm had been horrific, bringing down one of the huge trees that bordered the gardens. It had been a miracle that no one had been injured - or worse! - when the forest giant fell. "We need to find out what is going on. But I don't want to leave with things so unsettled!" The angel remembered all to well the lecture he had recieved last time he had left the gardens and had nearly gotten killed. No, angering Sidra was not something he wanted to do again anytime soon! Would Thana know the answer? he pondered. Possibly, but the Goddess of Death had gone back to her stronghold and was out of touch for now. Still unsettled and with no more answers than he had when he started, Galaen headed back to the gardens. Maybe someone else would have some answers.

SunFireDemon Hatori trotted around the garden, "Man it's getting hot." the gazell panted as he headed towards the pond for a drink of water. "I wonder if anyone else has noticed..." he pondered.Naoto yawned and uncurled form where he laid. It was hot, way to hot. The tiger angel got up and shook off the dust from his coat and began to trot around looking for some water. Lady Aria Starstone ((-ponders- Oooo Naoto. -DROOLS-)) Spirana walks down the grass, and looks up, looking for someone to talk to. She thought she saw some one up ahead, perhaps some one orange and black?SunFireDemon ((Lol. someone remembers him. XD)) Flicking a ear, "Hello?" Lady Aria Starstone ((Of course, I drooled over him and his co-tigers!)) Spirana trots right up to him, carrying her spear in her teeth. She stops and sets it carefully down. "Hello there." She nods in a friendly wya.SunFireDemon "Ah! So I did hear hooves. I was almost expecting all the ponies to be at the pond with the weather being so hot. I'm betting the merponies are the only one's really confortable." His wings fluttered a bit, "I don't think we've met. I'm Naoto." He gracefully bowed his head. Lady Aria Starstone Spirana bows her head as well. "Guard duty. Doing my job, ya know? I came out from under my cabbage, with my spear in my hooves... I tend to think it's a sign I was meant to protect my kin. But I am taking some time to cool off now. I'm Spirana." SunFireDemon "Then maybe we can walk together." he slowly took a step forward to see if she would follow. Lady Aria Starstone She thinks for a moment, then carefully takes her spear, and leans it in such a way as to carry it as she walsk, leaned against her shoulder, and follwos him. SunFireDemon As he walked he gazed at all the plants, "I know I haven't been here long but it's kinda weird that these flowers are in bloom now. I thought they came much later in the year." He looked at her, hoping she would know something about flowers. (We need Julian!)) Lady Aria Starstone ((hehe)) Spirana blinked thoughtfully. "I... wouldn't know... Plants aren't my specialty. I'm less... plant... more... self defense. But maybe it's just this unusually warm weather?"

Lady Aria Starstone ((hehe)) Spirana blinked thoughtfully. "I... wouldn't know... Plants aren't my specialty. I'm less... plant... more... self defense. But maybe it's just this unusually warm weather?"SunFireDemon Dark mane tossing as he looked up, "Yeah, but those storms. They're so violent. I don't remember them being this bad." Lady Aria Starstone Spirana blinks, then finally says "I'm not so old, sir, I don't remember that many years to compare it too... I've only been a full adult a short time." She looked down, a little embarressed. SunFireDemon "I see perhaps i can find someone that can answer me at the pond then." the angel smiled at her, "But you need not to look away. Youth is not something to be ashamed of." Lady Aria Starstone Spirana looks up. "Mom's always on about how I'm too young for this or that, despite being an adult now... She was younger then me when I was BORN." She sighs. SunFireDemon "Seems she doesn't want you to go through what she did." he said thoughtfully. Lady Aria Starstone Spirana shrugs. "No clue. It's not like I go out flirting with people or something. She had a fling and then me and my siblings existed. I don't even know what's up with Dad or the other two." SunFireDemon "I;m sorry dear." he softly whispered as they reached the water. Lady Aria Starstone Spirana sighs. "I cope. I never really knew 'im. Mom and the rest of the herd take care of me. Theres been some one new around... She's... different. Even makes Mashiro, my demon cohort, unnerved." SunFireDemon "Really? To unnerve one of hte demons she must really be something. In th herd I stay with there is one demon and even a dragon. And two other adult angels now that I think of it." Lady Aria Starstone Spirana looked at him, then whispered slowly "She's... Sitara... a Goddess..." She seemed unnerved, and unsure whether he'd BELIEVE here. SunFireDemon "An immortal pony. A goddess no less. I could see how troble can come from there. I've watched the head of our heard suffer wit heart ache longing for the love of a god." he shook his head, almost seeming bitter. "Personally I think she deserves better. I don't know the whole story but he doesn't seem to pay her any mind." Lady Aria Starstone Spirana blinks then nods. "AH. I think I know of whom you speak. Uncle Mercutio has spoken of Deth and SunFire, a god and the mortal he wont admit to himself he loves.... Sitara overheard him grumbling and said something about Deth being an..." She lowers her voice, NERVOUS. "An idiot..."
