All new members of Scientiae Luce must post in this thread to help us all get to know you just that little bit better. Reason for joining:I made the guild because I wanted to have somewhere to talk about science related topics with fellow gaian members as well as to get to know more gaians with similar interests to me. I found that the scitech subforum was getting a little repetitive... all the theads were just replicates of old ones so now there is a new place to talk science and hopefully we will have some good conversations.

Studying: Bachelor of Arts/ Bachelor of Science. I love science, but I also love history, so I must do both. In the science area, I used to be quite interested in Chemistry, though now having looked into Biology, it comes across as far more interesting, which leads into...
Area(s) of Specific Interest: In the Chemical feild, the idea of Nuclear Fusion seems very exciting as promising. This also leads into Physics, which the Quantum side of also seems very interesting, minus the intense use of mathematics. Biologically, genetics and evolution are my key areas of interest.
