Eros had just been dumped.

Well in all understandings, as close as it comes in wolf terms. It had been going well between the red wolf and the rather maniacal one dubbed Carey, when Eros's mind slipped right into the den, and the female realized that he was not following her around and complimenting because he wanted to be her minion, but instead just an a** who wished to get in her…lets say fur.

Carey had left in a fury, leaving without words, just a lovely present of a n** across the hearted marked ones nose. Eros, being…well...Eros, was confused, lying in the middle of a field, nose bleeding, and apparently sulking…well at lease on the inside. The wolf looked rather silly, just lying his back…then again, much can be said about any man (or wolf in this circumstance) that had just been burned by a young lady.

He was Eros for goodness sake.

The red wolf grunted once again before rolling on his belly, mussel resting gently against the frost bitten grass, too ego-centric to comprehend the whole situation.

((Oooh - Heroes! *loves that show* And no worries about the suckiness - I saw none! In fact, your post had me rolling in giggles! ~.^ ))

Ravii trotted along her way, her steps light, with no place to go one way or the other. She didn't have any desintation in mind, though (as always) she did keep her eyes and ears open for nearby predators and prey. She'd already had a run in with a miffed grizzly earlier that afternoon. . . .

Though, the more Ravii thought about it the more she decided if she'd been waken early from hibernation, she'd be a little upset too.

Whatever the case, the cream and violet stained female paused when she saw the most peculiar form ever. Vibrant red fur, with what appeared to be white hearts dappling the back and sides. What threw Ravii more than anything was the position - lounging on his back, legs up in the air, clearly out in the open of a field as if he were some target.

Eros stuck out like a sore thumb, and Ravii couldn't help but grin. "What in the world. . . ?" She murmured to herself, curiousity getting the better of her.

Pushing her way out of the shadow of the woods, the cream and violet breezed her way out in to the open meadow, trotting carefully over to Eros. She watched as the wolf - sight and scent granted her that much information - rolled on to his belly. Such a silly looking thing - his coat, out in the middle of the openess of the frost-covered plain, just screamed to be noticed.

As Ravii moved closer, she slowed her trot to a walk, and then a stop. Her ears were forward, though certainly in no agressive display, and her tail rested easily against her legs. Her position was completely neutral, neither dominant nor submissive, though her stance was prepared to bolt if need be.

"Well isn't that much more dignified of you," she greeted amicably, prooving that she'd witnessed his somewhat silly, previous display.

Eros wasn’t exactly what one would call a lone wolf. Well...in all technicalities he was 'lone', however in all reality he probably wouldn't last that long all by himself. The red wolf seemed to drift from pack to pack, woman to woman, never latching onto anything for too long. So it wasn't exactly that he was so dull he didn't know he looked like a dead deer (his stance really wasn't helping this either), it was more he lacked the street smarts. Either way, he enjoyed attention…even from a hungry cougar.

Cougars dig him.

It took him a couple seconds to grasp the scent of the stranger, and even when he did catch it, he didn't make any sudden movements…in fact, it took until the lone finished speaking before he slowly crept to his feet, and began his usual 'coolguy' stretches.

Golden orbs glittered, as he absorbed the situation, surroundings, and most importantly Ravii. She was pretty among Eros's standards, her body hinting golden rays, back stroked with a lush violet, much more interestingly then Carey for him, seeing earthy tones almost bored his mind. (Bonus! She's not a crazy psycho-mutt bent on ruling the world *patpats poor Carey* ) He could tell instantly that she was a lone, for the lones always had that glint of caution. Lones happened his one of his favorite.

"Ahh," Eros gave a wolfish smirk. "But then how am I to look at the sky?" Well…he could look up…but that wasn't romantic.

The gamma gave the heavens a quick glance before gazing back at the lone. It was only then did he notice her eyes. They were such a lovely azure, oh how he loved blue.

(( *sighs* Eros is such a slutt sometimes xD ))

((Haha, but he's so hilarious! n.n ))

Ravii tilted her head ever so slightly as the red responded, watching him stretch from one position to the next. She didn't blame him, not really consiering who knew how long he'd been lounging on his back. To be stuck in one position for such a long moment, a good stretch was always needed.

Ravii wasn't one to assume his 'cool guy' poses were displayed for any reason other than comfort.

"Well," she begain cordially, taking a seat before Eros, "if it's the sky you desire you could . . . you could. . . " And that was where the gentle female hesitated.

She'd never thought much about the varied positions of staring up at the heavens. Albeit she'd stargazed many a time before, it was only now, with Eros' question, that she really gave such a situation much thought.

"Well, there are the obvious ways," she demonstrated distractedly, lost for a moment as she arched her neck up to the sky. Of course, her blue eyes stayed on Eros, as she tried to come up with another way, a new position.

One moment, and another, before Ravii gave what could be considered a contagious laugh. "Oh, I suppose there are but only two ways to admire the heavens."

A little shrug and a dismissive flick of her grape staind tail. Her blue eyes were bright with amusement, and she refocused her attention back on the heart speckeled male. "I'm Ravii," she introduced with a smile that seemed to radiate from her soul.

She was in very good spirits this afternoon, and any wolf could tell.

Eros continued to grin, as he watched the female attempt to prove her point. She was soo…soft, well asides from literally. From his encounters he had learned that lones were rough creatures, almost nasty by nature, however this one seemed so different from the others. He wondered momentarily if he was wrong in his first judgment. Maybe she had just strayed from her pack for a couple of days. Everyone seemed to need a break every once and a while…even wolves from their packs.

"You see," he laughed as well before sitting promptly on his rump, almost as if he was emphasizing his point. "The easy way, seems to backfire after about, aaaaaah…five minutes." Eros quickly regretted this movement, as the ground was wet and cold, rather unpleasant to sit on. "My neck gets sore, you see, and my heart already aches." The red wolf looked down sadly, pulling ye 'old sensitive poor guy routine.

Puppy-dog eyes seemed to work best when you are a canine.

"It is grand to meet you dear Ravii," his sorrow seemed to flicker, unable to combat the lone's lightening mood. He sat up, as if not to be rude (but in all honesty his but was just frozen), buuut she didn't need to know that. "It's nice to see a flower among this wintry blister." His smile broke out again.

"I'm sure your mate must enjoy this constant spring," juust a precautionary, it was unbelievable how many times he'd sweet-talk a lady, then have a big hairy mate of theirs gnaw off his head.

(( I'm soooooooo sorry about taking sooo long D= *had surgery and was heavily medicated, so it would have sucked so hard if she attempted to write anything*

((No no! *hugs* No worries about any of that, really. RL comes first - and even if you just had no inspiration or desire to respond, that would've been just as fine too! I'm suuuper patient, I promise. <3 *hopes you're OK and your surgury went without a hitch too* Get well soon!))

Yes, the ground was cold, wet, and rather uncomfortable. But Ravii had been so accustomed to such envinronments (as any wolf would be) she thought little of the discomfort. Besides which, she was too amused by the red and white male before her! Her frozen seat could be worried about later, after she drifted from her current source of conversation.

If Eros could run in to the biggest sap in the world for such puppy-eyes, Ravii was it. The good hearted female truly was gentle in nature, and to see the red go from silly-poses to heart-break, well, she just couldn't sit still and say nothing.

A little whine trickeled from the back of her throat, falling hook, line, and sinker in to his momentary pity party. Oh, surely Ravii understood that he very well could be exaggerating, or making up some 'woe is me' sympathy story.

She'd been around the blook more than once to understand the games wolves played.

But, at the same time, the female also didn't know Eros and knew he very well could be serious about such a scenario. As it was, since she knew him not, Ravii could only assume that he was being a hundred percent truthful and honest. He had no reason to lie to her, anyway.

Ears going back, ever so slightly, the female ducked her head as her light mood dimmed. "May your aches and pains heal swiftly, then," she quietly hoped for the stranger, not daring to ask for any details. She had no place to bring up such negitivity, and thus the wolfess trotted lightly around such sensetive topics of conversation.

As Eros continued to speak, Ravii couldn't help but give another gentle laugh. Her blue eyes regained the light and life within them, and she couldn't help but delight in his misconception. "And aren't you quite the weaver of words," she teased playfully, "You must say that to all the ladies."

Rising from her seat, the shewolf shook out her coat, tail wagging hypnotically back and forth in long sweeps. A mate? Oh, how amusing a thought. Oh, sure, there were wolves in her past that she'd taken a fondness to, and a few she considered mate worthy. But the cards in life hadn't dealt her that hand, and as far as Ravii were concerned, it wasn't high priority on her list.

"Oh, he does," she assured Eros cooly, "Or he would," she clarified with a grin. "If I were to ever find the right wolf."

(( awww thanks for understanding, although I'm pretty much off for the whole weekend, so I'll try and get alot of posting done =) ))

The red gamma was slightly surprised at the amount of pity he received, almost to the point of delight, though he was careful that it didn't show. He hesitated for a second, almost feeling guilty himself…although this was quickly shaken off by his oversized ego.

He didn't wish to linger upon her sensitivity, only wanting to weaken her slightly. Eros didn't plan on breaking her heart…well maybe just a little bit.

Ravii was such a kind soul, and was absolutely brilliant in beauty. It had been a long time since Eros had been so attracted to a wolf this quickly, he even caught his heart skip a beat when she mentioned not having a mate. Her laugh caused him to grin wider, swaying his head down in that sort of 'you got me' way.

"Only the pretty ones," Eros responding, catching himself almost blush, and feeling rather grateful that his face was covered in fur. He wasn't as lucky when it came to his tail, which uncontrollably swayed back and forth a few times in delight.

She's fun, these words echoed in his head, as he looked back up slowly. His eyes glittered softly as he re-ran the words of the lone in his head, compiling a response.

"Yes love can be tricky to find," his tone was sweet. "But sometimes the right wolf ends up finding you." He paused, looking behind him for a second, before turning back to the female, eyes glowing with a new idea.

"You know what Mrs. Ravii," Eros voice laced now with a new more excited nature. "It's a lovely day, would you care for a walk?"

(( Poor Ravii, stuck with this looser xD *patpat* ))
PostPosted: Fri Feb 23, 2007 3:08 pm

((*laughs* Ah, but she's a glutton for punishment, I suppose. Call her naive in the wily ways of males, she can't help but assume that everyone is as loving and kind and good as she. x3 She's easy prey, currently. But I fear for what may happen after your boy goes running! =3 ))

Ravii thought about the red's words, and couldn't necessarily deny them. Life was a wild ride, and one never knew what to expect to find. Surprises lurked around every turn, and there was no way to prepare for such an adventure. Love was one such mysterious adventure. No matter how many wolves ran away from it, no matter how many seeked to find it, love was impossible to control. Most every wolf was touched by it, and those who felt it were always changed - for better and for worse.

Wolves died for love, while others killed for it. A strange emotion, really, one that had countless stages, varieties and effects. Love never duplicated itself, just like the snow flakes that fell during winters season.

Therefor, Eros was indeed correct. Just because she hadn't met the right wolf didn't mean they wouldn't find her first.

Before she had a chance to respond, the male surprised her by such a request. Blue eyes looked genuinely surprised, but her earlier delight glowed. "A lovely day it is indeed," she agreed amicably, tail wagging happily. "If still a bit frozen." Oh how she yearned for spring times gentle touch. Soon, she hoped, soon. . . Just a matter of time. "And I would love to accompany you on a stroll, but," she added, tone turning to mock seriousness. "Only on one condition."

Her eyes focused solely on the red wolf, though her serious nature was quickly losing the battle with a smile. "That I may have your name, good sir, so I know whom it is I'm walking with."

A grin, her azure gaze playful and sickeningly sweet. It wasn't often Ravii stayed serious (even in jest) for long.

(( heehee, I fear for his future *can't say he didn't have if coming* xD ))

Eros stopped in his tracks, almost paralyzed by her words. Had he really been so careless as to forget to give the lovely lady his name? His golden orbs disappeared behind downy eyelids, and he shook his head slightly. This lasted only momentarily, before he quickly snapped back into his usual joyous stance.

"I'm awfully regretful darling," he swayed on his feet, moving forth a few steps before looking back with a devious smirk. "You see, a lovely lady such as yourself, can make a mere mortal lost for words with your beauty." He swooned, tail brushing tenderly from side to side.

"My name is Eros," he announced boldly, rather proud of his name. "Just like my fother…" what should his father be today? Maybe a pirate warrior, no! King of the two leggers. "Alpha of the.." ahhh, pack name? "North Hill Pack." In all reality, his father was named Joe, and had died two years ago, trying to attempt to impress a lady (other then his mother), and ended up being the lunch of a grumpy grizzily.

Ravii's playful mood only enticed is own mischievous side. Eros lurched forward a few more steps and one to the side, inviting the lone to join him as he began to stroll.

"So what is a lovely girl like yourself doing all alone?" Eros asked
.
PostPosted: Fri Feb 23, 2007 6:24 pm

((Haha! Man, he's a tramp is what he is. You know, like Lady and the Tramp except I fear he won't necessarily have a happy-ish ending. Stringing along the ladies. . . . Don't do it Ravii! STAY AWAY! x3 ))

Ravii gave a soft laugh at Eros' apology. She wasn't accostomed to the sweet talk, but it was something she enjoyed. It made her feel good, and not nearly as homely as she thought herself. Purple stained fur along a cream coat - compared to most wolves (including Eros!) she was nothing spectacular to stare at.

But he was sweet, and it only endeared her to the silly wolf even more. His personality was about as charming as the hearts that spotted his coat! An interesting fellow, but with the brightest personality she'd had the oppurtunity to meet. Most of the wolves and pups she'd run in to as of late were dark and grizzly, a bit gruff, rough and tough. She respected that, of course, but Ravii's light only seemed to radiate most brightly around those with a similar light.

It was refreshing to meet one so amicable and sugary sweet. "Eros," she rolled the tongue in her mouth for a moment, giving another gentle laugh. "The North Hill Pack, you say?" The shewolf tilted her head, trying to recall if she'd run in to such a territory.

Nope. . .didn't sound familiar, but packs came together and fell apart all the time. There was no way to know every pack in the surrounding area, and who was to say North Hill was anywhere close to the Shaoilin woods? Wolves came form everywhere.

Before she had a chance to question the whereabouts, Eros quickly changed the subject. Trotting after the red, Ravii gave a friendly grin and took her place by his side. "I did a lot of traveling during my adolescent years, away from these lands. I wanted to see the world, see what else was out there." She explained cordially, tail still wagging behind her. "I joined and left two packs during the years. They . . .they just weren't right for me."

It was true - in the first there was an endless amount of jealousy between the alpha and beta females against any other shewolves beneath them. The mobbings and abuse became so great that the young female quickly split. The second had started out well, but had ended with a brutal change of command. The new leader had been nervous and highly agressive - the tension and anxiety amongst the pack members made Ravii's life as the omega a living hell.

"I've been alone my entire life, so I suppose it's just a natural place for me to be," she continued, voice softening a bit as she thought about her history and life. Would she always be alone? Probably. But she didn't mind. . . not. . .really. "I've long since accepted my life as a loner. But enough of me and the boring details," she grinned, "I know you mentioned heartache earlier, but . . .if it's not too painful, may I inquire about your lone ways?"

It was almost too easy. Ravii was truly that gullible and easily manipulated. All Eros had to do was pick a story, pick a line, and play the part. Ravii had full faith in the red male, so unless he was so foolish, she was puddy in his paws.

(( Eros: Nonono, do eet doo eet >D

D8! *cages him* ))

The heart stricken wolf was delighted to find he had gotten away with an easy history. It seemed whenever females asked too many questions about a made up past, he would exaggerate, digging a deeper and deeper hole. Eventually his lies would be far too extravagant to hold onto, and he would slip or forget something, and the female would catch him.

Yes, Eros did have a few bite marks from the ladies, and not exactly in the way he'd prefer.

Ravii was much easier to fool then he expected however. Most lones were rough, not chewing on any words until they had proof. This violet and sand female seemed to have total confidence in all his words, exciting him to no end. She will be fun.

"I see that no other lands could compare to this," Eros chanted walking slowly. "Why else would you have come back? Or perhaps these lands wouldn't let a beauty such as yourself leave." He caught her eye. "I certainly wouldn't."

"Packs come and go," He hummed. "Sometimes you follow, sometimes you watch them leave. I'm no lone, yet I have no pack, I guess it's the way you see yourself." He flicked his ear thoughtfully.

"Someday I guess I may stick with a pack," He looked back at her, almost as if asking for permission for something. "If I found the right one…or the right wolf."

"I've seen too many packs if you ask me," Eros drifted into thought about a fictional past. "Sometimes a beta, but mostly alphas." Okay, he'd been beta once....for a full week, and the only reason he had that rank was because he had been swooning the alpha's daughter. The same thing certainly did not happen when he tried for alpha. Who needed those details anyhow?

"I assume a pretty girl like yourself could only be worthy of an alpha …" he paused, making himself sound rather serious. "What a fool to let you get away!"
PostPosted: Sat Feb 24, 2007 5:12 pm

What proof would Ravii need? Why on earth would a bloke lie about his history and past? It didn't make any lick of sense for the female, so she couldn't help but trust Eros' words. She needed no proof of the existance of the North Hill Pack, or of his alpha father. If he was that embarressed by his past, he could at least use tact and change the subject, or be blatantly honest and tell her he wished not to discuss it.

But to lie? Oh no, Ravii did not believe or condone such wretched beings.

And so, taking Eros at his word, the cream and violet female continued her walk. She listened intently to the red, giving him her full attention, a small smile upon her features.

Part of Ravii wanted to shake off his sugar-sweet complments, and yet, she couldn't. How long had it been since one had payed her such kindnesses? A long time, really, and Ravii was far from immune from such charm. Sure, he laid things on a bit thick, but so what? For a few minutes at least Ravii could feel like a queen, and there was no such rule against enjoying a bit of flattery.

"Or perhaps these lands wouldn't let a beauty such as yourself leave. I certainly wouldn't."

If Ravii could blush she might have. Her blue eyes sparkeled in delight, before she ducked her head ever so coyly. Whatever did she say to that? How on earth did he expect her to respond?

Trying to come up with something without brushing him off, she was saved by his chit chatting nature. Her violet stained ears perked, though she did keep her head lowered in flattered embarressement.

"I agree that your words are true - I too, have no pack, but in a way I'm far from being alone." She had friends, or at the very least a handful of acquaintences. Ravii also knew she could find herself a home within the surrounding packlands if she ever grew despserate enough. The female had thought about it - she was young, strong, and an adept hunter - and yet . . . part of her seemed setteled within her skin by keeping her shadow her sole company. She never thought of herself as a truely lone wolf. . .

Occam, and perhaps Mingan, summed up the epitome of loner.

But Ravii was no Occam.

As they continued their walk, the shewolf found herself intrigued by the red. A charming wolf, but genuinely sweet. Perhaps she was still far too young and naive when it came to the game of love, but the sweet wolfess was struck blind without realization. So long alone for the majority of her life, perhaps that's what made the cream furred female so full of kindness and affection for others. Nobody liked mean wolves, at least not the sort of wolves she wanted to be around, and so, by staying trusting, open, and honest with everyone she came in contact with she gained a contact. A friend. Someone to help keep away her lonely thoughts and help brighten her life.

The more she friended, the larger her circle of friends, and the less likely she'd wake up alone.

Yes, Ravii wanted nothing more than companionship, and rightly so. It was her dream as a pup to find her family and as she grew, that dream had been transfigured in to finding friendship and bonds, of finding a place to belong.

Eros words were as desired as water in the desert.

Eros had lucked out with Ravii, and the poor female didn't think twice about it.

A laugh from the wolfess as she rolled her eyes at the red. "Well, my friend, it sounds as if you've had quite the interesting life. I hope you may find everythying you seek in your journeys.

"As for my worth, well. . . ." Another roll of her eyes and a soft snort. "There must be many fools in the world if your words are true." Otherwise, she mused, it could only mean he was wrong.

The darker parts of Ravii, easily burned away by her inner light, didn't think she was worth very much at all.

Positively delighted, Eros could hardly believe his luck. Most times it took a lady a few meetings before she'd even think about considering a compliment. Ravii however seemed to not only accept his sweet talk, but she almost seemed to appear to enjoy it, or at lease as far as he tell.

He had her right were he wanted.

Golden orbs sparked themselves as he caught Ravii at her moment of weakness. He easily figured she was enjoying this, and from his experience, woman only enjoyed flirting when they were interested.

The crimson wolf quickly looked away when the cream lone began to talk. He mustn't get too distracted, after all, for all she knew, he was just looking for someone to chat with. If something else happened, well that was excusable. But if Ravii was to discover where his mind was at, well he feared he'd find the full wrath of the female.

From past occurrences he has ruled that as a bad thing…a really bad thing.

"You don't strike me as a lone," Eros's words were true. "Nor would I think of you as one. I find that lones maul first talk later. You're much too lady-like to resort to such savages." It was a compliment despite it's odd bareness. Immediately he regretted what he said, wishing he'd given more thoughts.

"Sorry," he quickly added. "I just hate it when others categorize those like us with such brute."

"Being alone doesn't make you a lone wolf."

He shook his head, dropping the conversation and hoping it would stay dead. He was here to flirt and love, not debate and rant.

"You shouldn't be so naive Ravii," his tone was nearly as sweet as his words. "A wolf as beautiful and kind as you could probably have any male you desired." He rumbled kindly and encouragingly, before sharply swaying towards the female and shifting his head to meet hers. If all went right they'd bump noses, but it would only happen with her effort.

It was another one of his tests, whether the female was to bump noses with him would tell a lot about whether or not she liked him. The actual event was most of the time meaningless, usually regarded as an accident, unless the female mentioned something else…
PostPosted: Sat Feb 24, 2007 7:49 pm

If only the female knew. . . If only there were some way to haver her cast a wary eye upon the delightful red. If only she could truly see what he was all about.

But that would not be the case until far too late. Ravii was naive with the wily ways of males. She understood there were pigs that wanted nothing more than a females touch only to flee after all was said and done. Ravii loathed those sorts - she'd witnessed heartbreak before amongst others in her travels, but she'd never expect to be victim herself.

No, nothing was going to happen very quickly with Ravii. She was far too shy and coy, and Eros was still a stranger. But with a little time, a little luck, who knew what might happen? All Eros had to do was keep stringing her along with lovely words and the desperately lonely female would follow willingly.

Throughout their conversation, Ravii found no reason to fear Eros, or mistrust him. He was a kind sort, and a sweet one - the cream and violet female was quickly being transformed in to the part of the fool.

But nature and its experiences were far from kind.

Ravii took no offense from any of his words. She was pleased he thought her to be a lady, as Ravii tried hard to be nothing but pristine and good. Some wolves were vicious and cruel, and though she had her moments of snarky behavior, the cream and violet spattered wolf was far from rough.

Independent, fully, but far from a snarling brute.

"You could probably have any male you desired."

Ravii began to laugh, thinking of a way to respond as she looked up to Eros. Of course, before she had a chance to speak, the red had fumbled rightly in to her. Before she had a chance to slam on the breaks or leap to the side, she did allow their noses to touch, briefly, before dodging quickly to the side.

Her neck arched to the side, and she gave a coy laugh, pausing in her trick to paw innocently at the ground. A shy one she was . . . though her blue eyes danced with delicious humor. "Ahem," Ravii began, wondering why on earth she felt so . . . ridiculously silly! "Yes, I . . ." Her entire train of thought had been derailed, even by that most simple of touches. It was nothing - NOTHING! But somewhere, deep, deeeep down, the cream and violet wolf could only wish . . .

The lonely nights grew old after awhile, and Ravii was far from young.

"I could have, but there aren't many worth getting." She replied lamely to their earlier conversation. Whatever was a girl to do. . . .?

Strange to be speaking so boldly on such private topics. But Eros and all his charm elicited her trust so easily. Ravii, in all her friendly glory, couldn't help but be so open.

(( Awwww she's sooo cute <3333 *feels horrible* I'll give her lotsa candy when Eros runs kay *snuggles her* ;~; *typin' up a postie, although she might have to wait untill tomorrow* D< Thtupic muse being un-musey like xD ))

Eros's heart fluttered.

The scarlet male had often forgotten how much fun the chase was. His mind was usually stuck on the prize, and it was more often than not that it took him being head deep in the game before he rediscovered the tantalizing pleasures of the pursuit. Oh how he loved love…or at least his twisted version of it.

Poor Ravii would never know about his cruel intentions until it was too late…

Her shyness concerned him however. A shy wolf could be as hard to capture as a rabbit; constantly running into holes for protection, and not even sniffing the air until he was far gone. Quickly the gamma made a mental note to be cautious, one slip and this hare would be right down a hole before he could blink.

Yet again her immediate trust seemed to only encourage him. Eros's instincts were to impress her, make her feel safe, let him be the one she runs too…yet it was so hard not to come on too strong, for Eros was…well…Eros.

He was pleased to see that she didn't take any offense. It was such a silly move to let a thing like that slip. They say first impressions last a lifetime…and what did he do to this lady? Rant. Poor thing didn't need to hear about his worries, his ideas. Especially at stage one where she'd probably remember his every word.

Ravii's laugh startled the male at first, although he was careful not to let it show. It was great to see that she was accepting compliments now, and the sense of humor charmed his spirit. Had she not been so shy, the gamma could easily have written this off as a cakewalk.

And what a delight this was: their noses toughed. Things were going so well.

"Ahh yes," the Gamma laugh was deep and wholesome, almost understanding. "Us men, can be…so manlike sometimes." He winked at her, charmingly, his tone didn't hint of mocking, but instead indulgent, adding his own hint of humor. After all, if anyone knew men were pigs, it'd be Eros.
