These are the ceremonies or habits of the what you do, what you need surrounding you, where you must be, and ECT. The stuff that is a must when starting your journey into another great book. The scene of where you are & etc.
Is there:
Music or no music?
What kind?
Where do you like to read?
What is your fave thing to wear?
Is there a chair that`s a must?
Do you have to do a last minute sigh?
Do you have to have a cozy animal sitting in your lap?
How about a glass of water or coke? chocolate?

Well, I'm not one for spoon feeding topics, but I'll use the questions to get me started.
Music or no music? No music! I can't concentrate on it with music. I usually use a sound machine, which blocks out the noise of my house hold.
Where do you like to read? Anywhere. But if I'm at home, in my bed.
Is there a chair that`s a must? If possible, I try to read in bed. Very comfortable.
Do you have to have a cozy animal sitting in your lap? o 3o; No. My dog is much too big to sit in my lap while I'm trying to read.
How about a glass of water or coke? chocolate? Just a glass of water. I don't like to eat when I'm reading, and I don't like soda.
I try to read whenever, wherever I can. =)

Music, anything but mostly something relaxing like Enya, or a symphony, or even nature (the best music of all). I read everywhere and anywhere, but I like a cozy corner the best, or on the floor, or on my bed, well you get it, as long as I am comfortable 9and I move around a lot when I read). I have no pets, if I did they would be right there beside me, I would stroke their head and speak to them while I read- I'd even read to them! Water, normally, sometimes I will risk food- normally crackers or finger foods; once in a while it will be a meal like soup but never anything messy.

I almost always have a book with me. n_n; I read on buses, on benches, in the halls between classes... xD As has been said before me, anywhere and everywhere~ :B
When there's an instance like the latest Harry Potter book (which I read in one sitting... aha), I stretch out on the couch or on the floor and GET DOWN TO BUSINESS. I can't stay still when I read (or ever), so I need to be in a place where I can move around a lot.
The only thing more constant in my life than reading and Gaia is music <__<; I ALWAYS have music playing. If I'm really into reading, I'll just throw on some classical stuff. Lately, I'm really into Baroque, so that's been my fix lately. xP Alternatively, I'll play some wordless techno... I don't have any trouble concentrating when there's music in the background, so I'm all good P:
I love having my cat with me when I read, even if she inhibits my movement. xD It's such a nice feeling to have her purring on my stomach as I flip pages.
I've become a master at not getting anything I'm eating/drinking on a book and I tend to read while having a meal of some sort... not that I eat very often, but you know. xD My favourite reading beverages are cranberry juice, cola and chocolate milk~ @3@ Chocolate milk is probably the best one. DAMN, that stuff is good. 8D
Seriously, I'm just addicted to multi-tasking. I'm reading right now... as I do homework, browse Gaia, draw, etc... yeah xD

I'm somewhat of an expert crowd-dodger. I have some sort of instinct that allows me to not bash into people, even when I'm running full-throttle in the middle of a crowded mall. :B That helps, obviously. HONE THAT SKILL! >D
Next, watch people out of the corners of your eye and hold your book up so that you can see above it really easily. That's the most important thing. xP
Generally, if people see you coming as you read, they assume you're not paying attention and they will get out of your way. xD Also, if none of that works, try to get a trusted friend (ie: one who will not bash you into a pole, wall, or teacher) to guide you.
Yes. How-tos with Satah. Mmhmm. Useful...

I always love to read in a big overstuffed chair with the sunlight over my back. NOT that I always have that, but I enjoy it best that way! I love cocoa while I read, but rarely have that either, so I get an ice cold bottle of water. I don't usually listen to music when I ready, being totally immersed in the story is enough for me! I like it quiet.
I also enjoy reading on the beach! Pretty much I enjoy reading everywhere and I too am really great at hall dodging and reading at the same time! lol!

Lately, I have very few reading rituals. All due to having once more taken to writing rituals. Thus, my ritual would be unconsciously avoiding reading rituals.

Usually I have music playing, because it just makes reading more better. But, I can read without it.

Anything. I don't mind. I usually have the radio on, or my playlist on shuffle. Anything I like, I'll play.

I like to read somewhere comfortable. Which, is usually in my room, on my bed. Lol.

Uhh. Something comfortable.

Not really, no. Although, my bed is where I do read the most when I'm at home.

lol, funny sig, everyone probably figured you got hacked--so they bug you. I never seem to have enough time to read nowadays! I thought I was finally done with Japanese, now it looks like they are running 202, so back in I will go! Thank goodness I won't have the option of a third year, or I might never get to read again! Has anyone else ever been to the Cloud Room on the 11th floor of the Trendwest Condos in Seattle? It is really one of the best places ever to read. Lovely furnishings, fabulous view and silence. Along with this awesome museum downtown San Antonio, Texas that had a 4th floor with two overstuffed chairs under a skylight. Lovely place to read, that.
