The year is 1973, and the Marauders are in their seventh year at Hogwarts. Things haven’t yet taken a change for the worse; everyone is aware of Voldemort and the Death Eaters, but his name doesn’t quite yet cause terror in their hearts the way it does for those outside the walls of Hogwarts. In Hogwarts, however, things really are changing. The Marauders find themselves among a large group of spotlight ridden students, instead of being the center of attention, as in their other years at Hogwarts. Fortunately, most of these students seem to be on the same level as they are; party hard, enjoy life to its fullest, and maybe find someone to love. Alice Pierce, Frank Longbottom, Emmeline Vance, Dorcas Meadows, Narcissa Black, and Hestia Jones are just some of the students in their prime popularity, and as it seems, most of them are in their last year at Hogwarts. And then there are those that are ready to take their place as the next graduating class.
So let us look back into the pensieve. Back to the Marauders and their last year, back to before those who had died to protect those they loved, before Harry Potter was a name that all people knew, before those who had died became heroes through their deaths. To when those heroes had been teenagers who just wanted to have fun. So look into the pensieve and see how heroes of the future lived their lives to the fullest. And maybe we might learn how they matured into who they are to be.
