-Further and further away from their homelands the twins traveled, by now the place of their childhood so far away that not one part of it was apparent. Not even was the large rock that made up their royal den and throne a speck in the sky. No... all around them was subtle hills, grasses and peasantry. Truely the roguelands of the southlands. Already the two had ran into some crazy tramp rogue. Who knew how soon they'd be 'blessed' with another.
Having stopped for the evening to rest Ahai arose rather late in the morning, streching his azure paws out before him. Despite the urgency of finding their parents, the twins were no longer really in a hurry. They had no trail.. no real leads.. and with wings who knew how far Mrost had gotten?
So this morning he simple streched out further, smacking his jowls with a kind of irritated grumble. Nothing like waking up with a dry tongue...
Pulling himself from the ground he shook away any dust that might have settled onto him during the night, before his nose and eyes tipped high. There had to be a wateringhole near here somewhere.. He'd just go and get a drink. Be back before Matsai even missed him.-

Ah, the life, living out in the open lands with no troubles behind to worry. She had a smirk upon her maw as she padded about in the lands. She felt the need to come all this way for ... one reason. After all, her visions weren't as common as other seers. Rolling her eyes, she snorted as she passed over a little hill and began heading for the closest body of water. The watering hole.
"There's gotta be water around here somewhere ..." She peered about, looking and smelling the air for the scent and sight of the clear liquid. Then she spotted it a little far away and darted for it. The desert made any tongue thirsty. Although, she was used to it for the most part, but after she left the lands, her thirst tied her down.
As she approached it, she quickly leaned down to take in as much as her maw would allow.

-Padding indescriminately about for a few paces his nose finally caught the soft scent of water lingering in the air, and he turned himself to follow the scent, pleased to see how close the water truely was. It was his lucky day it seemed.
Padding a little quicker, his strides growing longer with each step he let the weariness slowly fade from his legs, and his body waken and grow alert. Padding up the slight slope he stopped atop, gloating in soft glory at easily he'd found it.
Though a single red pelt marred his vision quickly. The bright red? Black tail tip? He knew better then to expect his mother, but still excitement hit him as he descended down the slope towards the water. As he drew nearer however her markings became more apparent, and despite her stockier Firekin size it was obvious that she was not who he was looking for.
And yet... she was larger then most pridelanders.. an adult maybe? He'd have to watch his back. Huffing a little silently he continued to the waters edge, dipping his head to lap at the cool waters. Finally a reprieve.-

Kiunguza's eyes slanted as the blue male made his way to the waterside. A growl vibrated within her maw, madly. As she leaned back up, she walked back a ways. "And what made you think you were allowed to come to my watering hole, wise guy?" She bared her teeth and extended her claws, as she watched the ... blue thing drink.
"Unfortunately, I don't associate myself with those of the weak Pridelands, so I recommend you get out." She could tell where he was from, just simply by the gay colours on his pelt. No other pride would allow such an obnoxious colour.
Rolling her eyes, she hissed, and continued to stand her ground.

-He hadn't expected the verbal lashing, and his ears perked quizically, rather amazed and amused though he moved not, finishing his drink before he sat up.- "It's not yours. But if you feel the need to claim it as yours I'd be THRILLED to fight you for it."
-A simple smirk settled upon his maw, forepaws fidgeting enough to let the muscles roll visably. However he almost lost the smirk as she continued, tail giving an angry lash. How the hell did everyone seem to know they were pridelanders? Not that that was a bad thing... Despite it's pathetic leader the pridelands were strong. Huge and encompassing. Big enough to wipe out any other pride if someone with the right gumption were to whip the wusses into to shape.
But still.. it was a curious thing. Perhaps it was the royal and proud aire? So different then the trashy dumpiness of the rogues transversing these lands. He scoffed simply at her statement, standing up as the words grated against his ego.- "You're obviously blind if you think I'm weak rogue." -The later word spat, as if it were some sort of disease.-

Kiunguza was slightly surprised that the blue weakling had it in him. A grin appeared on her maw at the mention of a fight. "I'd love to fight."
Her claws dug into the ground as she continued to hold her ground. Of course, the moment he mentioned the word rouge, this thing turned extremely personal. "If you think i'm of rouge descent, you got some nerve, you little blue freak. I'm of royalty, and that is greater than the peasantry you carry upon your own shoulders. My father is the King of the Firekin, the lands that will someday demolish all those prides that surround it." She hissed under her breath. "I would've had a chance too, if my stupid brother didn't come along and catch father's eye. The damn males always take the throne. They thought i'd be too weak ..."
She glared into the Pridelander's eyes and leaned down a little, getting ready to pounce. A growl roared within her maw.

-He readied himself as she accepted his offer, pleased and surprised at the turn of events. Usually they'd shy away, try to avoid fighting. But an actual challange.. he was delighted. Might as well get a little practice in.
Crouching low, he tensed his muscles, awaiting some sign from her, but instead of a jerk in her body, or some other physical sign it came out in a his, and he grinned at the displeasure in her voice.
A princess? And the firekins at that? Perhaps that's why this female seemed so feisty. He'd heard tricklings of the strong firekin pride. But softly he laughed at her assurtion.- "I may have been mistaken by so are you. I'm son of Kiuma, the greatest of Mufasa's princess'. Son of a god. The blood that runs through me is far grander then yours, even as a princess."
-Creeping forward the smirk only grew. Without knowing it the girl had gained far more respect from the young lion then any girl ever had. She wasn't simply a nothing. But at the same time, she wasn't a 'something' to the likes of himself. She was a girl after all.
And at her lament he only laughed, digging salt into the wounds of her ego.- "Ha! Of course they'd choose him. A girl could never best a boy."

She chuckled madly as he spoke, she darted in, her claws sharp as ever. She lept at the male, a grin on her maw. "And yet theres so little you know about me." She aimed for the male, and then 'missed' on purpose, sliding past him.
"Ah, so your a seer, as well? ... ... a demi-god? They seem to be more common these days. Especially when gods seem to roam more freely and all. I hate to break it to you, but our backgrounds and stories are even flat. The only thing you seem to have against me now is that I'm a girl. Unfortunately, theres more to power than genders alone." She smirked, as her ears propped up a little more. "So, did you have a vision of this moment? ... ... do you know the outcome? ..." Her eyes slanted, as she lept at Ahai again.
"... ... I do."

-b***h. His teeth bared, maw curling into an unhappy and unpleasant sneer. How dare she speak so complicantly about such things! It was an honor, a gift of nobility that noone else could touch, and her she split lies as if it occured everyday.
Maybe, MAYBE she was what she claimed to be. But that only made two families that had the pride of stating such a fact. They were special, above commonplace. He swung his paw hard at her as she sailed past him, missing as she purposely dodged, body spinning to face her once more. The hair upon his spine standing as growl rumbled through his throat.- "Atleast you realize that I still have that over you."
-Ahai was a seer of the present. Strong events affecting himself of the lands. But that was about it. The future the past.. He couldn't see this, but her flippant ego was enough to send him off edge. With an angry roar he leapt, claws unseathed as he braced for the collision.- "I do not need seer powers to know how this will end!"

Kiunguza laughed as they came face to face, as she tackled him down, leaving a few scratches on his skin. She landed on her feet, and stood towering above him. The glare in her eyes never seemed to escape her. "Ah, so thats your problem, isn't it? ... ... you ... can't see the future? What kind of seer are you, then? A weak one, at that." She chuckled slightly, and then growled, awaiting the reaction of the blue male.
"Hah, yeah. I didn't need my seer powers to realize thats the only thing that separates us, your arrogance clued me in."

-He gritted his teeth as nails grated against his pelt, feeling the sharp sting as blood driplets formed where her paws had passed by. He was surprised to say the least that she'd been able to knock him down, but lucky enough she was standing to gloat and taunt. And Ahai took advantage of it giving a firm claw streched kick at her stomach to shove her away and allow him to stand once more.
Pulling himself up once more he didn't wait to see if she'd recovered her step, before he was going at her again, this time crashing his body hard into her shoulder, voice roaring with the anger that seethed through him.- "SHUT UP!"
-He had no snappy comeback, or rather it all fed into his actions, as he shoved against the female with is weight trying hard to bowl her over. Matsai was the brains of the family. Ahai was simply the brawn.-

Kiunguza was thrown back as the male kicked her directly in the stomach, a nice hard hit on her. She coughed slightly, and then began even worse than before. Her growl raged into a roar, as she was hit head on by Ahai, directly in the shoulder. She reached over in time to bare her teeth and bite him hard.
As she let go with her jaws, she spat. "I guess I was right than. You are the weaker one, Ahaiyuta." Ah, she loved being able to predict the future. It also helped her figure out other's names quite easily. She grinned, as the male went to take another shot at her. She lept out of the way as soon as he was close enough, and completely missed her.
"... you missed." She stuck her tongue out, playfully. She was having a blast toying with the male.

-He hissed in pain as the teeth found his shoulder, trying hard not to reel away from the pain and make it worse. But already her teeth were out, and her voice was spitting some more of it's lies and taunts.
Well.. he wouldn't be so careless. He missed, watching her dodge almost easily. She certainly was faster.. Or perhaps that was her stupid powers. Giving her the chance to cheat. Well, none of that mattered if he could get her caught. Brute strength would win out, it always did.
Well, no more playing nice. He crouched once more, ignoring the soft throb of his shoulder as he prowled and prepared to attack.- "Just wait. It isn't over until one of us is writhing on the ground." -Smirking slightly, he drew back before letting his muscles release once more.-
"But don't worry. I won't kill you." -Claws streched to grab at her haunces, teeth bared to grab at her neck he sailed towards the crimson lioness once more. One of them would land, he was sure, she just had to choose which one.-

Kiunguza was far from over with the long battle. She bared her teeth with rage, as he spoke. "You'll be the one on the ground, young one." She chuckled lightly at the mention of killing. "If anyone looses a life today, it will certainly not be me." She kept a close eye on the blue figure, as she began backing up. She watched his hind legs carefully, trying to figure out where his next move would come from. She didn't have the time to calculate it all, before long the male swooped in to attack once more.
Caught off guard, she fell as he grabbed her by the neck. Flailing madly, she left out a monstrous roar. She extended out her claws to make a grab at Ahai.

-So pleased with the landed attack was Ahai, that he didn't register how open he now was to attack. So used to the quick way in which one snap of the neck would render a prey beast still from attacking him back. But she was no prey beast. Her girth and the force in which she flailed made it so the adolescent's full attention had to keep on keeping his jaws locked tight on her soft neck flesh. Leaving his back and shoulders completely in the way of her attacks as she fought back.-
