First of all, you
must make an account to play Maplestory. They are free, don`t worry. This is a guide for Mapleglobal, sorry. After making an account, download Maplestory. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
3nodding heart Once you have downloaded Maplestory, double click the icon (it should show up on your Desktop). After they show you the makers (Wizet and Nexon) then it will show this ::
This is where you log in. Put what you put when you signed up (hopefully you wrote it down, just in case you forget!).
Now after you`ve logged in, it will show this. You must make a PIN number. This will be your PIN number for the rest of your MapleStory days, until you decide to make a new one.
After you`ve made it (hopefully you remembered!) then you must enter it again. Yes, you must use the 'Soft Keyboard,' there is no other way.
After you`ve entered your PIN number, select 'Login.'
Once you`ve clicked 'Login,' then it will lead you to the page with all the worlds. Pick a world to make your character in. [Note-all the worlds are the same, so it doesn`t matter. It`s just the population of each world]. If you are new, you probably don`t want to choose
Scania or
Bera, since those were the first two worlds and are most populated. It can get pretty laggy for most users.
Now, it will lead you to channel pages. Channels are all the same, don`t worry! They`re just like population of each .. I really don`t know how to explain XD But your character will not just be trapped in one channel (yes i`ve had a friend who said '.. And I`m trapped in channel 1!'. Let me just tell you, Channel 1 will be the laggiest.
