Hello, I've had this tinkering in my head for a while now... I've decided to ask for another opinion... but the bible basically teaches love thy neighbor.. a Satanic can be a neighbor in a physical sense, so why are we so hated? I partially understand why Satanism is geared into hating Christianity so much( hate us we hate back) but what's keeping us from peace?

christians are very narrow-minded in a sence that if one does not worship their god and conform to their exact beliefs, they are to be looked down upon and cast aside. the teachings of "true" christianity have room for next to no opposition. religious tolerance has no place in a community that is so objective to change. this is my opinion.

Is it not obvious? We take the name of their adversary. It's only natural that many Christians (and adherents to other Abrahamic religions) would not be exactly fond of us.
The term in the Bible that states that one is to love their neighbour does not refer to one's next-door neighbour. It is one's "fellow countryman" or those of the same faith. That commandment by no means asserts that Christians must love all human beings. It asserts that Jews must love Jews.
That being said, I see no reason for wanting to claim some kind of persecution status. You willingly take and willingly disclose your being a Satanist. If you cannot handle it, it is best you find another religion, or simply stop telling people your religion and expecting everyone to approach you with an open mind.
You do not need to hate Christianity to be a Satanist, by the by.

Apparently differing opinions. There are some christians who see me and want to save me. "Oh I love you and the lord loves you too, you satanic little cabbage!"
On the other hand there are those who believe that we're obviously going to hell no matter how hard they could try to convince us that what we follow is wrong.
Opinions are just like assholes - we all have them (and a lot of them stink).

That is a rather broad question. It's the way Christains are and always have been. It's a Satanic philosophy that we cannot love everyone, as many Christains claim to do, but they don't. Of course most of them aren't going to like us, or at least Satanism, because who we worship/idolize is who they believe is the ultimate being of "evil."
I usually don't quote Lavey, but it applies to this topic. I don't think we can say that every love movement has ended up killing people, or that all hyprocrites have pockets "bulging" with love. He was rather exaggerating. But I will quote anyway.
"There has never been a great "love" movement in the history of the world that hasn't wound up killing countless numbers of people, we must assume, to prove how much they loved them! Every hyprocrite who ever walked the earth has had pockets bulging with love!
Every pharisaical religionist claims to love his enemies, even though when wronged he consoles himself by thinking "God will punish them." Instead of admitting to themselves that they are capable of hating their foes and treating them in the manner they deserve, and say: "There, but for the grace of God, go I," and "pray" for them. Why should we humiliate and lower ourselves by drawing such inaccurate comparisons?"
Just one of the many differances between us and Christainity. We know we are beings that hate, and we admit it and we are fine with that. Christains (among other religions) also hate, because they are humans, but their religion tells them not to, which is impossible.

§Hë UšèÐ ä PõïšøŊ ïÑ Hïš ŧεä Not all Christians. Some of us have actually been part of other religions in the past. Religions that would help us to very open towards those of other religions. While you are correct, it is mostly only in the Catholic Church. I'm not saying that this prejudice isn't present in any other Church's, I'm just saying that it is most prominent and pronounced in the Catholic Church. They really try to let everyone know how they feel about things. Other Church's do try and teach that to some extent but they do no take it as far as the Catholic Church. And I know as a someone who believes in God that I'm not supposed to not be all "Grrr...." towards people and religions as you say Christians are to you, but I am soooooooooooo against the Catholic Church. They really take things too far. Anyways, if you are civil towards Christians and you show them respect, most of them will give it right back to you. It's really not that hard. I don't think..... And I do know what it's like to be put down by the Christian religion, so... yeah. I'm not just saying this in defense for myself....

youre a diamond in the rough then. i ment no offence, theres no need to be defensive against a mere poinion or to defend anyone else. ive never encountered someone with your mind-set, hence my choice of the phrase, "xtians are" instead of "most xtians" or "xtians can be".

I'm surprised that people still think of the Catholic church as the epitome of irrationale and bigotry when there's American Southern Baptists running amock and making it a point to shove their lifestyles onto everyone else. It's JW's running around knocking on your front doors, and Mormons threatening you with hellfire.
I think protestants are infinitely more insane than Catholics.
