I like to have translation to the side, but the original text kept there. It lets me practice my skills, while still having a crutch to lean on.

I like for the complete Japanese to be left alone.

I like when the translations are left untouched with the English name on the side or right under it.

I really don't see a point in leaving the credits in Japanese. Its not like most north americian fans can read them and it would help to tell the differance between bootleged anime dvds and offical releases.
As long as the credits are done in english simularly to how they are done in Japanese. It really doesn't matter to me.

The people that make anime deserve credit for their work and it should be understood by people who watch just who brought the anime to them. I say the names in the credits should be translated.

I don't really care how, but I would like the credits to be translated in some way.

I agree with Clara- as long as their translated in some way. Though the way I prefer the most would be them translated off to the side, but of course if they have a cool ending (which . . . sometimes anime don't) then too much text blocks it. sweatdrop (I guess that's why they have those textless openings/endings on DVDs.)

I don't see the point in leaving them in Japanese. Most of the people watching don't understand it, (that includes me,) and I would like to know the creators of an anime I like.
