Personally? I love having both opening and ending sequences left in place on each episode. There are a lot of great OP and ED theme songs, not to mention the nice artwork usually featured (as well as giving credit where credit is due!).
One thing that I think could stand to be worked on with credits on US anime DVDs is that some credit only the English voice actors, no matter which voice track the user has selected. It would be great if that could be set up so that it would display either both sets of VAs, or only display the ones for the selected audio.

Went with second choice because the openning and endings credits hardly interest me anymore. Have it set up like this also makes it a eaiser to watch it straight through instead of watching the same prologue credit over and over(unless it's interesting).

There really is no point in taking out the credits for selected episodes so I would just say except for translating them leave the credits alone.

Personally it doesn't matter that much to me... but if given the option it'd be nice for the opening and ending credits to be optional so u could watch a series straight through... lmao of course that's what the skip button on the remote is for so it really wouldn't matter... for most anime

i like having the opening and endings in place where they belong. if you dont want to watch them it only takes a second to skip to the next sceen.

Besides, imagine you worked on an anime and put your heart and soul into it, only your name wouldn't be associated with it? I wouldn't like that.
