So yeah, I suppose if you'd like to do a past write up of Sachi and all that, we should start it here.
Just for fun, I'm gonna let you create the setting and how far back it goes. (If that makes any sense at all)

[x33 Sorry about not having posted in like...a month. :] I guess we'll just start off when Sachi and Issac are all alone in the forest after the whole village being invaded part? Then they can meet Raine and Raeka later. That okay? If not, tell me. I'll edit it. Sorry it's not much, but I'm not really sure what to write. xD
P.S. I think they should be about eight..?]
Sachi glanced back at the village in the distance; cries, screams of terror, and gun shots rang in her ears as she played with the long sleeves of her dress. "Issac, what do we do now?" She glanced at her twin brother, her large, olive orbs wondering. Now wasn't the time to cry, not that she could find any more tears to cry anyways. Though only an eight-year old, the seriousness of the situation was clear. Two eight-year olds were on their own in the forest, no parents and no guardians, and they had to find someplace safe away from the invaders. Not only that, but a place to spend the night. The sun was rapidly setting, and the chilly night breeze blew gently through the leaves of the trees surrounding them. "We have to get away from here..."
Several soldiers from the other country searched the nearby bush for any survivors, and pair hadn't run very far yet. Sachi clutched a small, yet somewhat heavy, parcel in her hand, slowing her down slightly. "What do you think we should do?"
Though the same age as her twin, the purple-haired child always looked up to him, in more ways than one. And before their mother was killed ruthlessly by two men, she'd always said that Sachi had to mind her brother, and listen to him. A pang of lonlieness struck her heart as memories of her mother came to mind. Grabbing Issac hand, she squeezed it hard, a single tear running down her cheek. Sachi turned her head away, avoiding her brother's eyes, and began to walk stubbornly into the brush. "Let's keep walking." Her voice wobbled slightly, but her grip was strong and firm.

[Well, here goes nothing.]
Issac watched the smoke rise from his former home. He took this breif moment to take one last look at his home before it was gone. Even though he was young and he hadn't experienced this form of situation before, it was quite apparent that he and his identical sister would never see their home -- or their parents -- ever again.
He faught with himself to hold the tears from coming out. Quite the feat, really. One he had become very accustomed to. Under the stern watch of his father, he was being taught how to be 'perfect'. Enduring hours of strict, discipline, crying was one thing he learned to surpress.
"We keep moving.."
Having snuck out plenty of times during the night to accompany his friends, this particular area of the forest was quite familiar to Issac. "There's a place to hide around here. It's quite close. James, Travis and I use it all the time to hide from the adults. This way!"
He hadn't even noticed Sachi's eyes swell up with tears, as she turned her head away from his. Suddenly, her hand had grasped his. Nodding silently to her course of action, he began to run towards his destination.
About 5 minutes later, he stopped. Looking side to side, he tried frantically to locate his hiding spot. "It's gotta be around here...." The march of many soldiers could be heard approaching from both north and south. He had little time to find it. Dragging his weepy sister a little ways to the west, he stopped infront of a dead tree. 'This is it' he thought. He reached behind his hand and untied the bandana that lay loosely around his neck. Reaching behind Sachi's head, he tied it up behind her neck. Pulling it up over her mouth, he quickly said, "Wear this and do not take it off until I tell you to. Okay?" He then pulled her into the hollowed blackness of the dead tree.

Sachi nodded in response to Issac, not surprised that he'd know hiding spots in the forest. He'd never taken her to any of them though; that was something she'd never understand. Shrugging the thoughts away, she ran frantically to keep up the pace with her brother, feeling almost like she was being half-dragged. Approaching the dead tree, her feet felt like lead, as she was unwilling to enter the darkness the seemed to swallow anything that went inside.
Biting her lower lip to suppress a whimper, the loud footsteps of approaching soldiers seemed to echo in the large forest, and seemed louder than they truly were. Before she could react, Issac had tied a bandana around her neck and covered her mouth with it. The cloth was warm, and smelled familiar - like her brother. From underneath it, the girl's words were muffled and soft, but still comprehensible: "What about you?"
Simultaneously, she nodded, though prepared to take it off if need be. Did poisonous gases await them inside the tree? Or perhaps something else of that sort...Either way, if Issac began to suffer in any way at all, she would immediately transfer the bandana to him. The harsh reality now was that they couldn't always be together forever, though without a doubt they would try to. And if only one of them could survive, she'd rather it be him.
A blink of an eye later, Sachi was enveloped in darkness, and her hand gripped Issac's even tighter. Her small frame shook slightly, and glancing up at her brother, her green eyes were wide, frightened yet trusting.

Pitch blackness.
That was all the two youth's could see all around them. Once inside, this was his ball game. This was something he did on (an almost) daily basis. Issac motioned his sister to crouch down. The tree was big enough to hold three small children, so there was more than enough room for the two of them.
He reached for something unseen, from somewhere on the left. He felt around until the familiar feel of cotton was once again found. Without hesitation, he pulled the blanket out and used it to cover both of them. He wispered as gently as he could. He needed to give his sister one last message before they fell into the fire.
'Sach... Hold your hand to your mouth and breate has slowly as you can... Do not say anything to me until I say to you first. Squeeze my arm if you understand...'
That was all he could say. Not a moment after he stopped, the sound of soldiers marching by and a few grunts from the invaders where heard racing by. They waited for a moment. Things seemed silent. He was about to give the okay until he heard more foot steps.
These one's sounded gentle. Issac held his breath momentarily, contemplating as to whether they were friend or foe. A second pair of foot steps were heard from the opposing direction. The four feet began to engage eachother.
"I think we're too late. I encountered a few hunters a little ways back there." A female voice began.
"Damn... Do you think Ashyla or Derial are still living?" A male responded.
"It's impossible to say. We're still dealing with 'you-know-who'."
"The most deadly and unpredictable mark we've ever had."
"Yeah..." The female paused for a moment, letting out a sigh and taking the time to think of something. "We continue on toward the village. See what we can find. Then meet in the center."
"Affermative."
[This one seems kind of bad to me, but it'll suffice. By the way, what was the 'heavy parcel' you were refering to in your first post, if I may ask.
By the way, just pretend you know the two people I mentioned in my post. I mean, it's a small town....right? We're bound to know... well, everyone. xD
I can fix anything if we can't work out the kinks.

[It's good! No worries. :3]
Sachi clenched her teeth, refusing to be overcome by her slight fear of darkness. The heat emanating from Issac's body was reassuring though, and her eyes slowly become accustomed to the unusual black. As her twin brother spoke into her ear, she jumped slightly, the whisper seeming so loud in the silence of the tree and the forest. Squeezing his arm with a shaking arm of her own, the eight-year-old tensed her body, ready for impact of any sort.
As the realization and weariness began to catch up with her, Sachi's body ached with the tension, yet still she held onto the small parcel which she had had ever since the invasion. Even before that, she'd stuffed it with photographs, trinkets, and whatnot. Though only eight, she wasn't oblivious to the turmoil that soon began to envelop the town only months before the invasion. Inside, a locket containing the picture of the three of them - Sachi, Issac, and their mother - rested, and even some little bits of food. Exhaling slowly, she squeezed her eyes shut, refusing to cry at this crucial moment.
The tears never came, thankfully, though she did gasp softly at the voices of two familiar people. Sachi strained to hear more clearly, and also remember the owners of the voices, but it was hopeless. Nothing was coming back to her, and with her ears already pounding due to the silence, their words weren't that clear to her.
She paused, hearing no more voices for a few moments more. Her mouth opened to question Issac (who were they, can we leave, where will we go next) but the girl bit her lower lip. Her brother was in charge, and that woman and man might very well been sitting right outside the tree, listening for the voices of eight-year-old children. In the darkness, rather than speaking to him, she reached for her brother's hand, squeezing it gently. What next, Issac?

Silence surrounded them.
Issac waited for a moment before moving again. Lifting up his left arm, he pushed a button on the watch that lay wrapped around his wrist. A little indigo light came on and shone '5:13pm' into the pitch blackness that surrounded them. The light hurt his eyes slightly, as he was beginning to adjust to the dark.
Issac placed his hand on his sister's shoulder and wispered 'stay here'.
The boy slowly rustled around in the darkness, turning around and exiting their hiding place. He hoped Sachi wouldn't panic. He was only going to leave for a moment to check everything out.
Once all was clear, he reached back into the tree for his sister. "Sach. Hurry. No one's out here."
[Bleh. Short.]

Sachi jumped as a seemingly bright light suddenly shone. She quickly put her hand to stifle a gasp, and glared for a moment at her brother. Thanks for warning me, she thought. But her gaze softened as he made to leave. Her body tensed once more and the worry could be seen on her face.
But still, she didn't make a move or sound, for fear of making her brother be discovered. Watching him with her usual wide eyes, her hands clenched together as she strained to see him.
"Come back...." Sachi breathed quietly, so soft she could hardly hear herself. Losing nearly everything and everyone she loved and knew had made a bigger impact on her than many people would've realized, even for an eight-year-old. From then on, she promised that she would never let her brother out of her sight.
Suddenly, a hand reached for her and Issac's voice seemed loud in the hollow of the tree. Grasping his hand, she lifted herself out and immediately clung to him, her eyes scanning the surrounding area.
"Where do we go now?" They couldn't go back to the village; it'd be swarming with soldiers by now. And they couldn't stay here in the tree. Sachi could only hope the Issac had another idea formulating.

The sudden cling from the young girl surprised Issac quite a bit. He was used to having the ol' sibling rivalry with his sister. Now she was hugging him like he was all she had left. Wait. That's right. He was all she had left.
The weight of the situation had slowly began to make itself appearent to youthful lad.
I don't know.
He wanted to take charge and be the leader. He always had the dream. But the truth was, he was just a kid. A small, lost, eight-year-old boy. How could he possibly be a leader if he was too young to even realise the depth of the situation.
As negative thoughts began to slowly creep in, he shook his head, trying to supress them. They will not consume me, he thought to himself. He was such a bright child. With an IQ about 20 points higher than most children his age, he knew a lot more than he should have. Somehow, Sachi shared the same intellect. They were both quite mature for their ages, too.
Two gifted young twins alone in a catastrophic situation in the middle of the forest.
So... what next?
Issac eyed the direction that the two strangers seemed to head to. He thought about what they had said. First off, they were strong enough to fend off enemy soldiers, so they must be tough. Second, what would they want with Ashyla and Derial? They seemed like a normal newly wed couple. Was something going on?
Lastly... what was the talk about 'the most deadly and unpredictable mark'? Something was a deffinate miss. These soldiers wouldn't just attack their village for no reason. They had no natural resources around except for lush forests and large crops. The village wasn't a particularily wealthy one, either.
"We have to follow those two... Something doesn't add up here. There are way too many unanswered questions and I want to know why these soldiers attacked us."

Sachi let go of Issac as she felt him shake his head. Titling her head, she looked at him quizzically, but let it pass. The girl wouldn't begrudge him of having his own personal thoughts, especially after what happened. She bit her lower lip, still amazed that their village was attacked so quickly, and that they'd lost so much so fast.
Sighing quietly, she glanced up at Issac, awaiting his answer. His pause was unnerving. Could it be that he didn't know what to do either? Then again, it wasn't like it wasn't possible. In her own mind, it was nearly impossible to simply sort out her thoughts and make sense of what had been done to them.
Issac's familiar voice broke through her thoughts. Returning her gaze back to him, she furrowed her brow. "Follow them! Issac, it isn't safe..." Even Sachi knew that. But it nagged her too. They had no reason to attack the village, or at least none that they knew about.
After a moment's pause, she nodded. "I guess you're right. But promise me..." she frowned slightly. "..that you won't do anything stupid, kay?" She'd lightened her tone at the last moment and she looked at him with a smile. If her promise had been serious, it would've seemed like there would be more of a chance that he would do something stupid.
"Promise?"

I know it's not safe...
The young lad looked in all directions. Listening quietly. Observing everything around. Their current location was just a few hundred yards from the town entrance. It'd take them 5 to 10 minutes max to get back their. The distance was a relatively short one, so Issac wanted to make sure that things around them were relatively silent.
He looked back at his sister. "I won't do anything stupid. I promise. Okay?" He paused for a moment, collecting his own composure.
But then again... what is safe around here?
Without giving her much of a chance to say anything, he gently took the parcel that she held in her arms. Returning to the tree, he placed it softly on the ground inside and reassured her, "We'll come back for these later. They're be safe here, so don't worry."
He darted towards her, before she could go into her lecture mode, he grabbed her by her left arm and began to make his way back home. "We don't want to lose them. Hurry up."
You don't want me to do anything stupid, huh?
I don't think I could think of anything more stupid than this...

[O_O Sorry! Forgot that it was my turn to post. xDD]
Sachi followed her brother's movements, silently glancing around them. Everything seemed still, except for the slight rustle of the leaves on the ground and in the trees from the wind. The silence was so...
"It's too loud," Sachi muttered, referring to the silence. The eight-year-old glanced at her brother almost immediately afterwards, to see if he meant his promise. Apparently so, but his face was turned away from her. "I'm going to hold that against you, you know," she added before jumping slightly as he suddenly took the parcel out of her hands.
As Issac placed it in the tree, Sachi looked at the tree critically, as if doubting its ability to keep their possessions safe. Taking Issac's word, the girl nodded, falling behind him as usual.
You better keep that promise, Issac.
Mentally preparing herself for the familiar yet heart-wrenching sight they would feast their eyes on soon, Sachi clenched her fists, missing the familiar rough texture of the bag she had carried.

As the two youth made their way down the path, it seemed as though time itself stood still. Being so focused on this one task, it was all that had mattered to Issac. He had lost himself in his own thoughts. Wondering what the soldiers were doing here and who or what they were looking for. And what of those other two? They seemed to be from a different alliance. The last things they said made him worry. Who was this 'deadly, unpredictable foe' they were refering to. Was that person from this village? Or the one who stationed the attack?
Before he knew it, the large sign that welcomed outsiders into the village stood a few yards in front of the two. The city gates were close. Issac stopped next to the sign to scope out the town. From the outside, it seemed as though everyone had left. All the soldiers seemed to have vacated the premises. Looking up at the sign, it made him wonder how anyone could so viciously attack such a quiet place.
Shaking his head, he knew he was here for a reason. Without even saying anything to Sachi, he make a break for the gates. Running into the city to try and find someone of the living within.
Well, so much for the promise.
