I figured that, to keep spoilers from leaking out on the regular anime topic, that I would make this post for the sole purpose of discussing the last episode of Loveless and the things left unresolved.
SPOILERS ARE TO BE EXPECTED. IF YOU DON'T WANT THE ENDING SPOILED FOR YOU, DO NOT READ FURTHER.
Cry, yell discuss, ask questions- and have fun with it 3nodding .

I have a love/hate thing going on with this episode. It's beautifully done and by far the best episode of the sereis. The problem is; it's that last episode!! I want to see what happens after that. Does the manga leave off like that too??

Kyuuuuu! I absolutely loved it. That was so sweet and beautiful. *contented sigh*
(Although I watched it at 2:30 in the morning, when I could barely keep my eyes open, and without glasses on. Who knows how much my opinion counts for? ^^; )

T__T I just watched it and I can't stop thinking about it, and also when I think about it, I can't stop crying. It was such a good episode but it was so sad.. If I had to choose what my favorite ep was, it is definately Endless. Although I only saw the raw version, I can't wait to get the subbed! I want to know what they say at so many parts..

I've seen the episode over 100 times now (yea ima geek) and their better be a second season *prays* if not then I vow that im going to give up on all japanese related things (computers, games, Jpop/Jrock, mangas, animes, T.V., etc...) please let their be a second season. I dont want to give up on my hobbies just yet...
Also I'm kinda confused towords Seimei. It's like he wants Ritsuka dead, but he also wants him to live. It's like Seimei hasn't a side. Endless was to open to figure anything out.

I actually don't think Seimei's that bad anymore. I think he's trying to save Ritsuka, all this time.
I think he "died" and gave Soubi to Ritsuka because Ritsuka needed someone to love him. And it's to save Soubi as well. As Kio said, Soubi was a complete slave when he was with Seimei. Maybe Seimei wanted him to truly live again.
Also, I think he showed Ritsuka the dream to warn and strengthen him, so that when the time comes for it to become a reality, he would be all right. Remember, he asked if Ritsuka's will or his fate would win. He probably wants Ritsuka's will to win.
But I think he really will come back one day and order Soubi to kill Ritsuka. It would be the ultimate test, to see if either of them learned anything during the trials he's putting them through...

i want to add my two cents in, I now and will always believe Seimei to be a manlpulative a** >_> sorry in the august chapter of zero-sum. Seimei made Soubi feel so used/betrayed (as hence Nisei is his new warcraft now) we still don't know Seimei's true motives in the anime and manga, but i have a couple of good theories. I believe that Seimei faked his death so that he could get Soubi and Ritsuka very close then whe nthe bond is at it' peak maybe revlie himself to be alive, this Ritsuka having to make a choice in the matter at who he should stay with.
My other theroy is that Seimei true nature is the one that everyone else knows, Soubi, Yamato, Youji and Natsuo and the good older brother that Ritsuka knows was just an act again to maybe use to his advantage later on in the manga not the anime obviously

~looks at the ending in disbelief~ I was caught off guard... I had no idea this was the ending!! I was never informed... I found out in the end... Why! Oh, cruel world, why!!! Why did it have to end like this?! Why couldn't it have end in a more sustaining way...? I mean... Seimei looking at Soubi and Ritsuka from afar... What was that all about? And how about that open-ended conclusion??
Nothing was really solved! Pardon me, everyone who loved it, but it's not that I didn't like it.. Well, all endings leave the viewers hanging their mouths open until a fly flies in, but this one... All I could do was stare and be....disappointed. The ending.. it just did not answer any questions at all. Like...
*What's the full story behind Seimei's death? *Who was the one who deflowered Soubi? *Who and where is Ritsuka's warcraft? *What's Ritsu-sensei's purpose? *What's the story behind Soubi's cold demeanor? *Will the real Ritsuka come back?
I suspect that they rushed the ending... As if the ending wasn't planned to begin with so they had to rush it out in time for a deadline, or the ending wasn't suppose to be; like the series was suppose to be longer so it would answer more of the questions above.

Ritsu-sensei is part of the seven moons, he also was the one who taught Soubi how to fight, he really probably hold alot of hte answers to Soubi's past.. The reason that the series was so short is because they only had 4 volumes of hte manga to go by the 5th volume wasn't out yet when they were making the anime. Alot of the questions you want answered aren't even answered in the manga yet all is really a mystery to all of us.

I just saw Endless.. I must admit.. I almost cried at times.... ((I'm not easily moved to tears.. >.<)) And, just like most of you, I was left with a bunch of questions..
We're just going to have to wait 'till the manga comes out.. Can't wait..! x3
Also.. considering its popularity.. I recommend reserving a copy.. >.>

Heh heh heh, I'll probably get an auto-reserved copy. The manga store knows me already, 'cause I've been going there every few weeks or so for 4 years. ^^;;; And as soon as it nears release dates for mangas I like, I start asking and asking. ^^; (Seriously... When I got there once, the person was like, "There's the Alichino manga you were asking about." ^^; )

I loved Endless crying But grawr, there's so many unanswered questions!!! It's going to drive me crazy. But, I seriously doubt that's the end, since there are five tankuban, and more are still being written, they're only halfway done, so I'm sure there is going to be more Loveless. There should be anyways. No anime can end like that! It's way to open.
