Red_Hope She looked over towards the waiter and smiled softly. He meal looked rather tasty and she couldn't wait to dig in. She was rather polite about it though when it was placed in front of her. "Thank you." Comet picked up his fork and idly twirled spaghetti around it. "The meal looks excellent." he said approvingly. "So Braewyn..." he said "What's your favourite type of foreign cuisine?"

"Hmm... Would Ramen count as a foreign cuisine?" She asked with lifted eyebrows at him as she twirled some noddles onto her fork before taking a bite from her fork. She chewed thoughtfully before swallowing. "If not, I'd have to say it'd be this Chicken Fettucini."

Comet laughed. "Well, it is imported." he said. "And I'm pleased you like this restaurant. I come here pretty often, and I've grown rather fond of it in my own way." He looked around to the street. "Ramen noodles can be addicting, and I've always wondered how they get all that falvour into the little packets of powder you get with them. What do you think?" asked Comet, tail curling lazily.

"Um... I believe it has to do with the spices they use in the powder..." She mused a loud, her tail long since curled about her feet like a foot warmer. She smiled softly at the way the conversation was going. "One of life's mundane mysteries eh?"

Comet nodded. "Life is so full of wonder... And beauty. A fine mixture, I should say." He looked up at Braewyn. "It's quite puzzling, for example, how sunset puts everyone in a romantic mood when it's only the sun rotating around the Earth. But to us it looks beautiful and causes happiness." The white cat shrugged. "Of course, it's a trivial thing, really. I find beauty in people more than I find it in sunsets."

She chuckled at the thought. "Aye, a sunset is beautiful, and that's what makes it romantic. What do you like to do anyways? When you're not flirting with every pretty face." There was no malice or accusation in her tone, but simply amusement.

Comet put on a hurt look. "Why, I would NEVER act promiscuously!" he said, lying through his teeth. "Let's see... I like to read, to walk, and to sing." he said , smiling. If one could sing, then one could serenade on a moonlit night, which was big bonus points to a flirt. "And you?" he said, finishing up his spaghetti. "I'm sure such a lovely girl must have very refined tastes."

She paused to think about this, the fork sticking from her mouth a moment, before she carefully removed it, chewed what she had in her mouth, and swallowed. "Not so refined I'm afraid, but thank you anyways. I like to read myself, but I mostly enjoy sports, especially soccer."

Comet nodded. "I know someone who enjoys soccer a lot." he said, thinking of Vilu. It had been a while since he'd seen him last, not since the time when he had taken Deidre to see her mother's side of the family. "Who's your favourite in the World Cup? Mine's Italy, followed by France." He flicked an ear as he tusseled with the thought of whether or not he could afford dessert.

She nodded. "I prefer the underdogs. I like Northern Ireland myself. I don't know too much about the tournament, because I simply love playing the game with my own two feet." She waved the fork at him a bit as she spoke, beginning to talk with her hands, a habit she unknowingly picked up from her guardian.

Comet smiled. That was something he could have suspected from Braewyn. "Almost done?" he asked cheerfully. "I think I can spring for dessert, if you don't mind just getting ice cream." He had just enough money for that. He would have to carry more while walking alone in the woods next time, just in case.

She nodded, finishing off her meal. She leaned back a bit in her chair, looking out at the scenery beyond the balcony, staring a moment before nodding to him again. "Yeah, I'd like some ice cream. If its no big deal."

Comet waved the waiter over. "All right then." he said, smiling. "A vanilla ice cream for me, and..." He raised an eye at Braewyn. "You look like the sort of girl who'd like mint or strawberry. Am I right?" he said with a playful grin on his face.

"How could you tell?" She chuckled gently, her eyes falling shut a moment to enjoy the moment before they opened again. "Mint. Please."
She leaned forward against the table, watching Comet with renewed interest.

Comet smiled. "Just a lucky guess. But you seem like the kind of nice girl who'd go in for a sweet or fresh flavour like that." he explained. "It's amazing how our ice cream choices can reflect our personalities, you know." As the ice cream arrived, he took his spoon an began to eat his slowly.
