Kadri flexed out her fingers, and streched out her arms, and then touched her toes. She couldn't wait to dive into the water! Of course, Kadri couldn't dive and would only be doing a "cannon ball", but she'd still be jumping into the beach's waves!
Kadri took a step back, then a running leap. The moment of being airborn was Kandri's favorite part, right before the great splash. When she emurged from the depths and gasped for air with one curt breath, her first thought was, "Cold!" Why didn't someone warn her the water was freezing?!
Trying to ingore the tempature and just have fun (and hoping she'd adjust to the cold soon enough), Kadri decided to search for some shells or rocks on the sea floor's bottom. She dove down, and began to search the sand for rocks with a special factor of beauty.

Meghan's bike stoped once it hitted the sand.There wa something in her bike basket,besides the towels,a young mermaid.That giggle alot.
"Yay!Were here!"Sunshine shouts jumping out of the basket.She kept jumping till she reached the ocean.So she dived in the water but spotted someone,"Hello?She asked.

Kadri had just come back up, and turned around at voice's greeting, finding a mermaid, as big as a child. Little Kadri smiled. "Hello!" She greeted, "I'm Kadri."

((It's okay. ^^ It's hard to be interactive [like in a conversation, etc.] without auto-controling the other, or doing lots of stuff without the other person reacting.))
Kadri beamed. Sunshine seemed really nice. Even if she was a little big...everyone seemed bigger than Kadri. "Is it fun being grown-up?" Kadri asked, "Being small you can fit into more places, but everyone else is so huge!" Kadri held up a shell she had found on the floor of the water as if proof--it was a perfectly white, pretty shell, and very small, but Kadri had to hold it with both hands and then some struggled.

"Sometimes yes,sometime no"Sunshine replied."When your smaller you get to hang out in your face,get to be on your parent's head and such.But when your my age you get to..to.."Sunshine just laughed,"Well,it's a little differnet I should say,Everyone is bigger then me,even if my younger brother and sister looks older then me,but not really,there both teens."Sunshine noticed Kadri's ears and tail.

Kadri listened intently, eager to find out from a grown-up herself. Then she noticed Sunshine looking at her bear ears and little tail, and got embarrased from some odd reason, and began to scratch the back of her right ear. "Umm...Thank you." Kadri oddly muttered, not looking at Sunshine. "My tail...and ears...They're bear counterparts." Kadri chuckled, now looking at Sunshine again. "I have no idea were they came from but, you know? They're just sorta...Part of who I am."

Syrus blinked fearfully at the water. Why did he agree to come here again? He was afraid of the ocean. The pool he had gotten over...but the ocean...the ocean could drag you away...it could...well, be very bad...
A blue-white ghost whisped around Syrus, noting his fear. "You don't have to go in...remember Syrus? Mizu said you could collect things...or talk to people that were here...and look!" A whisp pointed softly to the two girls playing in the water. "Here are some people to talk to!"
Syrus sighed. "But they're busy playing...I don't want to bother them..."

"Your welcome"Sunshine nodded agreeing on what Kadri ust said,"Oh,Sorry,I'm just not used them.It take a while to get used to it,you know?"Sunshine chuckled,"And my tail is part of who I am." Sunshine noticed someone else is here,she looked at Syrus,he looked failmer."Hello!"She said.

Kadri felt comforted by Sunshine, suddenly reliazing that a mermaid tail must be harded to get by with than just some round ears and a small tail.
Kadri turned to who Sunshine had called to. "Oh, hi!" She bellowed, trying to wave to the boy, but she began to sink quickly after her right arm left the water, her other arm and legs couldn't evenly trend without it, so she had to stop waving. "Wanna join us?" Kadri called out.

Syrus flushed and shifted his glasses in a nervous habit.
"I...uh...I mean...no thank you..." he stammered, looking at his currently bare feet. He was carring his sneakers in his free hand.
Danaus, the ghost, hovered about a bit then flitted over to the girls, smiling weakly.
"Don't be offended...he doesn't know how to swim...and he's afraid of the water..." he explained.

Kadri giggled openly, "It's okay. My name is Kadri, and that's Sunshine. If you want, we could go over to the shallow water so you could just wade and play with us. What's your name?" Kadri smiled, hoping to get to play with yet another person.

Kadri looked at Sunshine, "Really? Your brother and sister don't know how to swim? Are they not mermaids or mermen?" She asked, curious. It was rude to just leave Syrus hanging, but that was Kadri did all the time -- she wasn't the most polite little twitch.

Sunshine looked at Kadri,"My Sister is a fairy,she hate it when her wings get wet.And my brother is a robot,which pretty much explans it"she said."Maybe someday I'd get a mermaid/Merman for a sibling."
