Who here has seen the Devil's Rejects?
For those of you who don't know, it's the sequal to House of 1000 Corpses.
Hurray! I saw it opening night (which was a few hours ago)!!! Holy s**t! This was a ******** awsome movie!!!! I've still got chills.
This movie was INTENSE. You will be on the edge of your seat till the amazing finale. The ending was just amazing and I will never think of the song "Free Bird" the same again.
It wasn't as gory as I thought it would be but that is of little importance. One thing that makes it much more intense is that when they shoot someone, you actually see the gun being held up to the person's head and see the bullet being shot into him and not just the blood spraying on the wall. Just something as little as that made this movie that much better.
If you are a fan of 70s horror or just want to see a really amazing movie, go and see The Devil's Rejects.
Holy s**t man. It was ******** amazing!!!!
:goes and listens to free bird:
What do you all think?

It looks interesting, and any movie with P.J. Soles is a plus, but I heard House of 1000 Corpses was really bad. I should check that out first.

Jeska Synius It looks interesting, and any movie with P.J. Soles is a plus, but I heard House of 1000 Corpses was really bad. I should check that out first. MANY people didn't like House of 1000 Corpses (unlike me...I LOVED it), but Rejects is going to have a different feel to it! So even if you don't like House of 1000 Corpses you should give The Devil's Rejects a try. You might just find that you'll LOVE it. heart

I'm actually looking foward to it, I liked the first one, despite its obvious influence of the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre

This movie is going to be great, most likely. Heh, I had an idea for a road trip killing spree for a movie... But now I guess... I have to do something else to be inventive. I don't know... Maybe a super hero who is actually a super nut case and kills inefficient people.

Heh, I had this movie where this guy's girlfriend is umm "Played with" by a sinful guy, so he and his friend go searching for him pulling the punishment with the grace of god and a baseball bat. Then they realized they can stop other bad people as long as it was in the name of god. So they start to take out druggies, pimps, whores, bad people of the sort. But the guy who's girlfriend was raped starts to become obsessive with smiting in the name of the lord... so he even goes as far as kidnapping those who curse... condemming them to hell for it. His friend is now getting wary of him, and wants to back out... Well our main "Protagonist" kills his friend... for doing all the crimes considering the fact he did them and backed out of "god's will" makes him evil. After that he goes on a rampage of hell against those who sin...
If I was computer smart I might have posted it here... But then again I don't have any editing so it would proabably be crappy.

I've been eagerly waiting this movie since I first saw the trailor (even when I first heard Rob Zombie was making another movie- I didn't know it was a sequel). The style of his movies are awesome- the grungy horror style makes me all giddy-like

I'm susprised everyone seen it as a different movie. A lot of people over here for more than a year have known about the oncoming sequel... oh well... I guess we do too much research at times.

The trailer looked pretty cool, kinda like a throwback of 70's shocker horror flicks. It's gotten great reviews so far as well.

That movie, Serial Mom, took place in my hometown. Of course I've moved now, but if you listen at one point when the Dad and daughter are in the car, the daughter (played by Ricky Lake) gives away the location. I don't recognise anything from the area, but she mentions a road I lived near.

I actually am looking forward to this movie too, though I was a bit dissapointed with House of 1000 Corpses. There were some great ideas in that film, but I thought the editing was enough to ruin the movie for me. ;O; (I am a Huuuuuge film nerd, don't mind me ^^) The trailers look great, and I bet the success of the first film will really improve the quality of this one. So glad for a horror movie that isn't just a crappy remake of a much better Japanese film, or a ripoff of a different sucessful film. (Gothika, or the Forgotten anyone? crying ) Go Rob Zombie Go! 3nodding
