Okay . . after much deliberation I've picked this format: Below are the general statements for zodiac signs I worked off of. First up will be my choices and soon (when I get some more time sweatdrop ) I'll put up statements for the rest of the signs.
I hope that works for everybody. *crosses fingers*
Aries: The Ram (March 21 to April 20)
Aries is an energetic sign who's traits include being quick-witted, confident, adventurous, courageous and sef-reliant; however, they can also be blunt, impulsive, impatient, and reckless. Aries is a leader . . not a follower.
Scorpio: The Scorpion (October 21 to November 20)
Scorpio is an intense sign who's positive traits include being forceful, magnetic, powerful, passionate and mysterious. Their bad side, however, is that they can be resentful or jealous, secretive, destructive . . . and run the risk of being obsessive.
Aquarius: The Water Bearer (Jan 20 - Feb 18 ) Aquarius is a friendly, independent, through reserved, sign. They have an inventive mind which oftens tends to lead them towards science-fiction and technology. It's downside, however, is that those of this sign can be detached, aloof, and foolhardy.
Cancer: The Crab (June 21 to July 20)
Cancer is the creative sign who's traits include being loving, imaginative, protective, sympathetic and resourceful. Cancer's also seem to have a deep love for history. The lousy thing is that they can be moody, evasive, or manipulative.

Okay . . my personal opinion is that these are the Turtles' birth signs (as well as being their birth order . . sweatdrop I know . . I need to get out more . . ):
Leo --> Aries (he's a natural born leader after all)
Raph --> Scorpio (he's the moody, intense one - prone to depression)
Donatello --> Aquarius (they seem to have an affinity for using computers . . and they like to work on their own)
Mikey --> Cancer (because he's the sweetheart of the group, but what he did against Raph in order to win their match in the BN tournament certainly qualifies as manipulation)

Clarify something for me if anyone can... Were the Turtles ever given actual dates/months in which they were born? It was never said in either cartoon series, and the comics I wouldn't know because I have yet to read in depth past what I have from synopses on the official site.

They never were specified -- which has always driven me bonkers on this point! I've gotten so used to those pages in a manga that tell you everything about the character you'd ever really want to know . . and maybe more . . . that it bugged me the Turtles didn't have that.
Anyways . . I really want to know what you guys think -- and thanks for all the replies so far! biggrin

Really if you think about it (and I refuse to believe anything that stupid live action TV show said so this isn't from that) the chances that they are really brothers is fairly remote. Chances are they were born at... I dunno a turtle farm or wherever petshops get their animals, then sent to the petshop where a kid picked four random turtles. For all we know some of them could be related and the others might not be. But either way they grew up as brothers so it really doesn't matter. Sort of like how my step sister and I feel really weird when anyone actually says "step" b/c we're so close and so much alike (we even look alike) that we don't think of ourselves as anything other than real sisters.

I flip back and forth between thinking that they hatched at different times to thinking they were from the same nest or clutch . . or whatever. Either way . . I still think they'd have hatched in the order I've got above, in my first post. 3nodding

I see yer sister thing -- blood often has little effect with how you end up interacting with others. That's like me and my 1st best bud -- she has so many step-siblings who go 'hey, we're your sisters . . but you give up reunions with us to go hang with friends!?' and she tells 'em 'heck yah! my friends are closer to being my sisters than you guys are!'
Hey . . does anyone else have any ideas about the Turtles' zodiac signs? Or, for that matter, their 'birth order' . . or who's older than who? I really wanna know what you guys think! (I can't keep using this kinda thing as an internal monologue! I'd be called wierd! sweatdrop )

(I can't keep using this kinda thing as an internal monologue! I'd be called wierd! sweatdrop )Hey Artue, I like your zodiac signs for the turtles. Well done! I don't know if the turtles are blood-related. I believe I saw something in the Next Mutation series which suggested that the turtles were not blood-related. It was something to do with Venus... How she was in the glass jar with our four heroes, but split separate ways. They called her "sister" or "sis'" but if I remember correctly, Venus corrected them saying they are just five separate and distinct pet shop turtles. surprised As for the zodiac signs, I'm sorry I don't have much to add! I'll think about it though. I do not know the turtles birth order, as I don't think that was ever specified. It is said that Leo is the oldest of the four though...

what about this?:
I was also thinking at first they could be quadruplets...but they all have different skin color. If they were quadruplets, odds are they would all look exactly the same, with only their weapon of choice and bandana color being the only visible thing to separate them. But, since they all have different skin tone, it's very possible they all could have had different mothers/fathers and were born in the same year.
