What do you think of Gaara in the new episodes of Naruto?

HE WAS EFFING AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! blaugh scream ok that was a little over the top... sweatdrop
Edit: I apologize... I had an extremly pissed off parent breathing down my neck so before I could actually say something about it I had to say the first thing that came to my head before having the cp shut off. Shippuden was quite exciting to say so myself. i got confused when they started off with meeting Sasuke and thought they skipped the whole Gaara part... But after hyperventalating I realized it was just a juicy beginning to an extremely awaited episode.

Even though I read the manga and was expecting it, I still couldn't help but grin like an idiot when I saw him in those robes and when Baki addressed him as "Kazekage-Sama." It's nice to see him finally happy and developing relationships with others, especially with his siblings.
As far as this episode goes, he didn't do or say much, but it was a nice introduction. I know what is to come next will be awesome, and touching, but I don't want to say much for risk of spoilers.
As for his new outfit, the Kazekage robes are okay, but I love the red one, it looks so good on him. It's probably due to his hair, but red is a great color on Gaara! Even a plain red tee shirt would look good on him. ^^
Also, I really hope we get to see more of Matsuri in the future. She may have been a filler character, but there was a girl that looked a lot like her in the manga. I have become a big fan of GaaraxMatsuri (they look so cute together), thus I would love to see something develop between them.

Well, Im not unhappy. I mean, I expected and KNOW what is/was going to happen. I read the manga online! How can you not like the show? I mean, thats the way its going to be from now on so theres no reason to hate it!

The way they drew his hair bothered me a little also, it should have been more spikey and smoother, like you said. Oh, and Matsuri is a girl who appears in episodes 216-220, if you want a more elaborate description you can click on the link below. I'm really bad at summarizing things, so you definitely wouldn't want to hear it from me. ^^ She hasn't appeared much in the manga so far, only in chapter 280, and she wasn't even given a name. But, the girl in the manga looks exactly like Matsuri. I just hope they'll keep her character and we'll see more of her. I must say, in the opening, I found Gaara (and Naruto) to be very, very sexy. Especially when he holds his hand out and turns into sand. heart
They grow up so fast. crying

I thought he seemed to be in a confused state. Like looking out towards something more then what was at hand. Like Forshadowing maybe? I have read the manga so how he acted was not surprise to me.
2) What do you think of his outfit
= AWESOME! Though I really liked his old one better. His new one was a little like to much white @_@. Though it seemed to bring out his eyes XP.
3) other things you would like to mention
I love the fact that he is a Kazekage.

Edit:
I watched it! I loved the intro! Although.. I was thrown off for like five seconds. sweatdrop
The entire time I saw Gaara, I thought lizard.. bird.. no.. lizard.. no, bird!
I don't think I like his eyebrow lines.. and his skin is paler, isn't it?
I'm excited. *has absolutely no organization whatsoever.*

The story line was weak and the fight scenes were terrible. At first they can't seem to win, even with three man teams, but suddenly the got better and beat the bad guys. The fight Naruto and Lee against that Jesus-wannabe was the worst of all. What happened to all of Naruto and Lee's training? Okay, so the guys armour sucked chakra, but come on they could have worked past that. And no offense, but Matsuri didn't do anything.

They could have animated him a bit better in shippuden ep 1 and 2. Of course at the very end of ep 3 he looked REALLY DAMN HOT eek
I was hoping that his outfit would be black too. Maybe because I just like black.
But overall, shippuden makes me so happy. I watched all three of the episodes that have so far come out twice and every time I watch my heart goes all ' blip blip blip' and I'm all happy and excited...Sometimes it feels like I'm going to faint from happiness. (I'd put an emote here but none of them can accurately sum up how joyous I am)
