Make sure you eat some fried dumplings because they're suppose to bring good fortune if you eat them on the Chinese New Year.

I didn't find that out until I saw this topic yesterday. I know the month that things occur in, but not necessarily the date. xd

The date changes because the Chinese calender's different from the one that you probably know by...I think it's 30 days, I can't remember. So usually New Years is somewhere in Jan-March. sweatdrop KirliaEmi But don't forget: this year is the year of the pig. 3nodding So don't feel bad if you're being lazy. 3nodding .

Yeah, I remember a few of them being in January. And I knew that the calendar changes, since I got a book about Chineses astrology a while ago. It's a good book.

It's rumored that children born in the year of the pig are suppose to be extremely smart. IDK if it's true but that's the rumor.

There's usually 29 days in a month .. according to the Chinese calendar.. but then.. kinda like leap years.. you get a month with 30 days.. i dunno. it's confuzzling. But the new year happens on a new moon.. so you can't find the moon that night o_o
