Well, I've been thinking about things that can be done to improve this guild, and I've come up with some ideas. Before I do anything, though, I want some input from guild members. :3
First off:
Subforums -
The subforums have been of a pretty big concern to me. In a guild this size, I'm not really sure whether they're necessary or not. Threads put in there can easily go unnoticed, and are often forgotten about, even by the person who started them.
Solution? - Close the subforums, except the Roleplay, and maybe the Chatterbox (for the time being), and keep all posts to the main forum. The pros to this is more activity on the main forum, and more attention to threads on specific things like fanfiction. The cons, of course, are clutter on the main forum. With a series specific guild like ours, I think we can get away with using just one or two subforums, or none at all, but I would like some input.
Roleplay - Yeah, I'm gonna start a new roleplay sometime soon, so if anyone has plot ideas to start us off, please let me know! Anyways, I was thinking of having one "Official" roleplay and application thread on the main forum, and have all other, member-owned roleplays in the roleplaying subforum. That way, new members and members who never venture into the subforum will know that there's an active roleplay going on. Again, let me know what you think of this idea.
Contests - As some of you may know, I have a fanfiction contest going right now, but I might scrap that for another, easier contest. (I really want to stick with the fanfiction contest, though)
Anyways, if anyone has any ideas for a contest, let me know, but here are my ideas so far: Drawing, referral, banner making, and poetry (lol). Any of those sound good?
Also, is a custom profile an okay prize? xd I'll have item prizes in the future, I'm just poor right now. =P

I agree with your ideas. As for an idea for a new roleplay....hmm...That will take some thought. But I'm sure someone can find something....hopefully.

Okay, okay. ^^; I wasn't completely sure about getting rid of it, anyways, but I still need ideas for future contests. D=
I kind of have ideas for a roleplay if need be, but they're all pretty cliché. sweatdrop There's probably someone in this guild with far more original ideas than mine.

If this guild gets bigger, which it probably will, than you should keep the subforums, in my opinion you shouldn't get rid of em anyway. I like them there, keeps them cleaner. Maybe we shuold add a contset subforum if we have major guild contests

I agree with everything that you mentioned. In fact, the subforums have been bothering me for a while since they are so rarely used. I myself am charged completely guilty with ignoring them and sticking to main-forum topics, especially since those are the ones that jump out at you when you enter the forum. Until we grow some more, I agree with your stand on "no" subforums.
Also, I'm looking forward to any roleplaying. It makes me sad to know that there hasn't been an active roleplay in so long sad . We should start again soon 3nodding . I'd love to hear your roleplay ideas, I'm sure they're not cliche. Anything Gravi is fine with me since I've never done a Gravi roleplay ever and I am hoping to participate in one once it gets rolling here in the guild. I personally don't have any ideas so far, but when they come at me, I'll post them. (Actually, I was hoping to do an RP with the new Gravitation Ex {the one with Rikku} but I can't think of anything sweatdrop .)
Oh, and you should definitely keep the fan fiction contest idea going. It's fun to have contests and the most popular kinds are fan fiction contests. I won't be joining of course, since I haven't put anything to paper for a while but if the stories are made public, I'd love to read them or be of assistance when it comes to setting up, rules, and judging etc.
Everything you mentioned is great stuff and should be taken into consideration for the good of the guild. Thanks biggrin

First off, I call Shuichi for the roleplay. I tried to make one on Gravitation Ex but no one is really joining. crying
Second, I noticed that the subforums to go pretty unnoticed but I don't want clutter either. Maybe we can combine the Roleplay and Games section? Than leave the other two so we only have three sub forums instead of four. Not sure. Maybe also, we could make a sticky thread with all the topics listed. I can do it if you'd like. ^^

I happen to like your ideas, I myself never really go to the other forums given the fact that I like all the main forum topics. I like the idea with a roleplay in the main forum too but when I visited the roleplay forum I couldn't find any that I could get into and I really want to be in a Gravitation roleplay (sooooooo bad!!) gonk because I'm starting to dislike the other roleplays I'm in but because I want to be in a Gravi roleplay so bad I'd be super dedicated. Um if I come up with any ideas I'll be sure to let u know ^^

I still need ideas for a roleplay, but if need be, I guess we could go with an EX roleplay. The only thing is not everybody has read it yet, so there may be confusion and people not wanting to read spoilers. :/
Also, I'll be making a hangout thread of sorts on the main forum, so that even people who don't go into the subforums can chat and get to know eachother. *nodnod*
For the subforums, I am going to close the games and fanworks subforums, and make a thread for fanart (Go Shuu-chan 19, go! <3 ). Fanfiction can be posted on the main forum and the clutter shouldn't be too-too bad.
Oh, and thank you guys so much for the input! <3 It really helped.
