It's a movie that will be coming out soon about a group of prisoners, already condemned to death, sent to an island and have thirty hours or so to kill everyone else. What they don't know is that it is part of a reality television show.
Sounds like the American version of Battle Royale. Am I wrong in assuming this?
Battle Royale: A group of students are selected to go on an island and have three days to kill one another. For the public, it's a game. For the government, it's a way to control teenagers.
Of course certain things are changed around. Whenever an idea is taken from some place else, it is shifted around. Look at movies based on books, comics and video games. They are not alike. Am I just being wierd about it? Is this the American version of Battle Royale?
