N.American Otter - 50%
Colette yawned as she sat down on the beach. She had gone swimming yet again and seemed to be doing that more and more each day. Colette flexed out her whisers and then yawned again as her tail laied down on sand.

*Doesn't feel like using his mule today*
“Sleepy…so sleepy”
No, Nick couldn’t fall asleep, not now. It was the middle of the day for Christ’s sake! Though so far, Nick’s resistance to give into his new nocturnal instinct had proven futile. He’d spent the last few days just sleeping in his room during the day, and coming out at night, when no one was around to eat.
He carried on down the path to the beach, his head slowly bobbed and down as every few moments his now yellow eyes threatened to shut themselves. As he got to the beach he stop to give out a loud (Somewhat Hoot like) beaked yawn, as he scratched the back of his now feathery head with his oddly stretched out hand.
“Well, the beach would be a nice place for a nap”

Colette thought she heard something and looked around, slightly puzzled.
"Ah.. Who is there?"
she asked as she got up her feet with a small frown on her face. Colette yawned again for she had been swimming pratically all morning today.

“…huh?”
For an owl, Nick was pretty slow to react. Some one was here already, guess a nap was out of the question now. He slowly walked over to her; it was pretty obvious he was exhausted. What hair he still had was uncombed, and he was only dressed in his loosely hanging shorts. It didn’t matter too much; he was mostly covered in pure white feathers anyway.
“Oh…eer, H-hi Choleta-a” He spluttered a little as he spoke. barely being able to pronounce her name, he still getting used to taking with his half beak of a mouth.

"Oh.. Nick.. Are you all right?.. You look horrible."
Colette sighed as she looked up at him and walked over. She was a bit surpised by his apperance, but thought that the feathers looked kinda cool. Colette yawned and continued to look up at him.

“I’m...just tired…dats all” He replied as he settled down in the sand next to her. The warm sand felt quite nice, as if he needed anything else encouraging him to sleep.
“I’m…okay realla” continued as he gave out another loud yawn.
“Why did I force myself into this?, I should have stayed in like yesterday” Heading back and flopping down on his soft bed seemed like a great idea right about now. No, it’s be rude to just leave Colette like that, maybe she’d leave soon too.
He could only hope

"Ah.. Well.. I am a bit tired as well.. I've been swimming all morning."
Colette said and then sighed as she saw that he was exausted.
"Hm.. I think that you should rest, all right?.. You look like you need it."
She put on a small smile as she looked down at him and then end of her tail twitched.

“I’m nota tired lika that, I’mma owl, my body wans me to sleep durin’ tha day” He hated having to be like this, he could barely stay awake when everyone he knew was, he had to do something about it, but maybe he was pushing himself too far.
He flashed a smile at what Colette said next, which looked quite strange considering his curved beak. Finally a break, that was his ticket to the lad of nod.
“Y-yyaa, I realla need to, ou don’ta mind, iffa just nap now?”

She smiled and then ruffled his hair.
"Ah.. Well.. You sould still rest, all right?"
Ameterasa asked and then yawned herself as she brushed some hair out of her face.
"I'll probally fall asleep as well."

Nick couldn’t help giggle a bit while Colette ruffled his feathery hair. Feathers where surprisingly ticklish.
“Y-yea, I’ll havea shorret nap” Without any hesitation Nick lied down on his stomach in the sand, and curled up a little and closed his eyes. Barely half a minute pasted before he was fast asleep and coo’ing softly under his breathe.

Colette sighed again and then watched him lay down.
"Sleep well," she said and then laied down on the sand as the waves slowly inched their way to them. Colette yawned and then fell asleep as well.

It was early evening now, would probably be only a hour or so more until the sun set.
Finally Nick stirred from his sleep, very slowly got up and stretched out, letting out a another loud satisfied yawn.
“God, I needed that” At long last, he felt awake. Though he still had to face that fact he’d have to e all night awake again. But that was bothering him right now, for now he was just happy that he was out of his zombie still state from earlier.
Colette was still asleep on the sand next to where he lay, maybe he should make himself scarce and head off before she got back up. It occurred to him suddenly, it’d been a while, had anyone seen them together like that, he frantically looked around, no one in sight, but it had been hours after all, anyone could have seen them.

Colette sighed and then yawned as she lifted up her head.
"Ah..Are you leaving?" she asked in a tired voice. "..But I havn't seen you in a while... Can't we hang out just for a bit?"

Just as he was dusting himself off, and take his leave, he heard Colette.
“Oh…e-err, I juss didn’ta wanna wakeh ou, realla” in all honesty, she’d caught him in a lie. But she was right, they hadn’t seen each other in a while.
“Hmm, okaeh, whatta wanna do?” he forced his beak into smile.

Colette yawned and then got ot her feet.
"Well.. Hm.. Not sure.. Oh.. So.. Have you .. Changed resently at all?" she asked and then sneezed.
